Great Burgers and fries! The rad girl at the register sort of gave me an attitude… I tipped her 20 $. She came from behind the counter and gave me a hug and said, «Thank you for being so nice.» Walked to the bathroom and she stopped me to say, «Seriously dude, Thank you» Seriously a damn good burger and fries! Had a nice pint of the Coronado Beer. This visit was from Sept 14, 2012

Elliot my serve recommended me the best burger. I don’t like fish that much but I tried the albacore burger and it was absolutely amazing I would definitely recommend this place. Great customer service, if you get Elliot then you are in luck. I will definitely be coming back. Absolutely amazing !

I ordered the paleo burger with white cheddar cheese. I’m on the specific carbohydrate diet for medical reasons, and this burger was perfect! The burger sits on a bed of lettuce and zucchini and is topped off with a tasty tomato relish. The meat is also seasoned very well. The person working at the register even showed me their ingredient binder so that I could make sure I wasn’t eating anything that would make me sick. I will definitely be going back to this place!

I came here at night around 10:30 pm and they were still open. what first catches my eye is that they have all these soda selections that are different! All kinds of flavors I never heard of! They even have lavender mint lemonade. My cashier was super nice and let me sample the lemonade, it was definitely on the light side. I ordered their French fries and I liked the basil they put on top and they give you a lot! I came here for their chicken tenders but I heard they don’t carry those anymore. Parking is horrible, per usual when in DT. Customer service is on point.

I had scoured blocks of San Diego’s Gaslamp looking for something reasonably priced with a temporary budget. After checking out some potential spots with my friends, we came across Burger Lounge. Their Elk burger looked freakin’ delicious, however, we were slightly concerned what the price would be for their other burgers, and quality. So we decided just to go inside and see what they have. I’m soooo glad we did! I compromised myself a bit by having their grass-fed burger(if I absolutely can, I’ll eat grass-fed AND finished). OMG delicious! And their onion rings are fabulous! I’m super picky when it comes to onion rings. I love how their buns have a crispness to them, that absolutely gives it added character and quality. Before I forget, their lavender mint lemonade is superb! Not nasty sugary sweet like most lemonades. I was very iffy at first only because again, a great majority of restaurants have an overload of sugar and high fructose corn syrup, gross. Love the mint finish! Thank you for a great first experience burger lounge! And yes, I would definitely come back again, even with boundless amounts of money.

So went here after a meeting and staying at the hard rock. Burger was excellent and fries with garlic that’s minced garlic was awesome. Got the lounge burger and all ingredients and consistency of flavors were spot on. Definitely will be back as the customer service and food were on deck.

This is seriously one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My friends and I decided to try this place on a whim since we were walking around Gaslamp. Honestly, I didn’t have too high of expectations, but I ended up loving this place. I had the lounge burger with a side of french fries, and a lavender mint lemonade to top it off :) The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. Also, they gave us ranch and BBQ sauce as additional dipping sauces for the fries. The ranch was sooo good. It was creamy and perfect and probably bad for my health but I couldn’t stop eating it. The BBQ sauce reminded me of chili and was pretty good also, but nowhere as delicious as the ranch. I liked the lavender mint lemonade, but my friend thought it was too sour. Free refills though! and I think they allow you to try/switch to other drinks too since they’re all the same price! After coming here, I’ve been itching to go to the one in LA but I haven’t had the chance yet. I’m hoping I’ll have the same great experience I had here!

The burgers really do just taste different. One of the best burgers in town and they’re a chain. I guess it’s that Grass Fed thing.

Popped in here for grub before a DT hangout night. Had the burger and frings. Burger was very tasty. The girly girl had the smaller burger but said she should’ve got the bigger burger. The line took forever as the cashier seemed a bit slow. If you’re sitting inside, try to get a spot in the back or very front. The side area is noisey and the staff gets in your way plus they like to throw dishes making crashing sounds that can startle the girls. This place is a bit pricey but well worth it.

I had the burger without the bun cooked to order rare. I am about the beef. I garnished with mayo and mushrooms. The burger was exquisite. It was lean and well flavored. One of the few places that did not question my desire for rare burgers. Friendly service and asked me for drink refills. Great place.

Called in about 35 minutes before closing. Made a togo order and whenI got there it was all ready to go. I ordered two lounge burgers and a regular french fries. Total came out to $ 21 which is kind of pricey for an OK burger. The employees here are very energetic and talkative. I love a place with happy workers. Even if they have to work late in downtown.

Burger Lounge is always a good time. It’s a little pricey for what I’m willing to pay for a burger when In N Out is half the price for a burger, better burger in my opinion. The upside is that they do have a lot of options and have grass-fed and organic burgers. It’s one of the few fast burger joints in downtown. Their onion rings are definitely a plus for the restaurant. I’m sure they’re just as unhealthy as the regular onion rings, but they have a different structure and coating to them. They’re delicious! I ordered a romaine and kale salad with some grilled chicken. The chicken came in big chunks, which was a little inconvenience eating it with a salad. Each chunk was more than a bite worth of chicken. I loved that there were sweet potato shoestrings in the salad. Added to the flavor and to the texture. Overall, it’s a good place. I won’t pick Burger Lounge first to get a burger, but when I’m at work and it’s the closest burger place within walking distance, I won’t hesitate stopping by.

Still great fries. Root beer float this year was in a smaller cup and not a large mug, but there’s a chance the mugs were all in the wash because Comic-Con is so busy. There’s always a line out the door the rest of the week, so our Wednesday burger is all we can manage. Still hoping for a Burger Lounge location in Northern California some day. There’s this town called«Willow Glen.» Please open up here. :)

Pretty Good. So it’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Burger Lounge so when I went to Comicon, It was a must that I check out the Gaslamp location. Unfortunately, I was not blown away and left a little disappointed. Sure it was a busy day with Comicon being in town and all but I am still a firm believer that Quality goes over Quantity. The wait: Obviously with it being comicon we expected to wait a while in line, however, the line did move pretty quickly and luckily we were able to slide in a table pretty quickly as a family was leaving. Customer Service: The customer service was fantastic. The employees made sure they were keeping the tables clean and interacting with the customers which was very refreshing seeing how busy they were. I was very pleased to see that the customer service was just as great in San Diego as it is in LA. Food Quality: Here is where I had my issue with this location. I ordered the Lounge burger on a Gluten Free bun with fries. I am used to getting a beautifully plated burger with a TOASTED Gluten free bun that is delicious with every bite. Sadly, I did not get that at this location. It was just a mediocre burger, the bun was not toasted, which makes the burger soggy pretty quickly, and the burger felt pretty skimpy. The fries were OK. They didn’t taste as fresh as what I am used to at the West Hollywood location and the plating was awful. I cannot stand when I can see the cooks clearly threw the food together on the same plate they used to serve to me. It is just a sloppy look. It was clear that the comicon rush caused them to rush with getting food out which was underwhelming. Not sure if I’ll return to this location again when I’m in San Diego but I still love my West Hollywood Burger Lounge. I hope this review helps you decide on where to grab a burger while hanging out in the Gaslamp area! :)

Between 4 and 5 stars but ehhhhhh I’ll give it to ya! 5 stars! So I was in SD for one night only but we ended up at Burger Lounge TWICE in one night… and my bf went again the next day so he went for a total of 3 times… geez lol. First — Root beer float! Ok I’m sure their root beer float is as good as any other root beer float anywhere… but I dunno it made a big impression me lol. I could’ve been extra thirsty OR their root beer and ice cream are just REALLY good. Everyone else agreed too! I got it the first time we went, and everyone ordered one the second time we came lol. I guess it was kinda good we went more than once. First time I wasn’t that hungry so I shared some chicken«digglers»(I keep wanting to say dicklets) which is like a cross between popcorn chicken and chicken tenders. We got our sauce on the side, which I liked better mainly because I like to dip stuff in sauce… lol and also our lil digglers stayed nice and crispy. Good flavors! Also shared a side of «half and half» which is half fries and half onion rings. DAyummm they really know how to do onion rings! The fries are good too. Ok basically they fry stuff up REALWELL. The best part was that nothing was greasy or tasted too fat or oily. They must use some real good ingredients cos I didn’t feel too bad inhaling all that fried stuff… or I could just be in denial lol. So the second time we went, I got a burger… I’m pretty sure it was the Lounge Burger lol. YUMMY! Although I must say… a single cheeseburger on a plate with nothing else on it… seems a little underwhelming for about $ 8. Still good though. As far as burgers go, this was pretty damn good(but it’s no In-n-Out). although the 5 stars is mainly for the fried stuff and root beer float lol. What can I say? I just love some good fried stuff haha.

I actually saw this place in La Jolla. My boyfriend wanted to try it, but I said no since it looked like a typical overhyped burger chain. Welp, he definitely proved me wrong. Food — 8⁄10 1. Turkey burger — My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger. They use quality ingredients. 2. Burger lounge — My burger was cooked essentially well done, but it was still extremely juicy. It comes with essentially a thousand island sauce. 3. Half & half — This was HUGE. It’s onion rings and french fries. The onion rings were so crispy. 4. Ranch — Their ranch here is great. It definitely tastes homemade and not bottled. Service — 10⁄10 Based on the service, I thought they were a new restaurant, because they treated us so well. The burgers and essentially everything were brought to us. People were constantly checking on us. I really liked burger lounge. Based on the quality of the food and service, I wouldn’t have thought it was a chain restaurant. I wish they were in Texas.

Burger Lounge… pretty straightforward place. I got the«Lounge Burger» — grass-fed beef, Lounge bun, American cheese, fresh onions, lettuce, tomato and 100 Island dressing My gf got«The Classic» — grass-fed beef, lounge bun, American cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickles and chopped onion. We also ordered the half/half — half fries/half onion rings The food took a while to come out, and the first thing I saw was the 3 onion rings on top of the bajillion fries. NOT half/half…more like 1⁄10. BUT… after pouring out the contents of the carton… I saw that the rest of the onion rings were underneath the fries! They were toying with my emotions, man! I didn’t even eat half of the onions rings though… I think they were sitting out for a while, because the onions were dried up and the batter was not flakey… more soggy than anything. The burger was pretty good, though. And their natural cane sugar cola was good as well. Although, I do prefer more carbonation… this soda was a bit flat and soft for my taste. Overall a pretty good burger… just a bit overpriced for my liking.
