Looking on Unilocal, the reviews weren’t amazing, but we wanted somewhere close to the hotel we were staycationing at and this fit the bill. We were greeted by a friendly staff and sat down promptly. It was a bloody Mary type of morning, so we ordered a couple of those as well(forgot the price). Very tasty and easy to drink. I went with the Crab Cake Benedict($ 17). A very generous portion of 100% all crab-cake on an English muffin with two poached eggs, sauteed spinach and topped with a nice Hollandaise sauce. Amazing. I think I may have gotten a little tear in my eye. My sister went with the Beach Club Breakfast($ 14) Pancakes, with two large eggs, and two strips of applewood smoked bacon. Bacon came out well done the way we like it, and the rest was great too. I woud order either breakfast again so if you need a good breakfast in Seaport Village, this is the place.

Went out to this place for dinner with a group of my colleagues from work. It was conveniently located in the Seaport Village next to our hotel and was an easy walk over for dinner. The restaurant itself seems like it is suffering from a midlife crisis, things are beat-up and it just gives off a vibe of being a place that is struggling a bit to survive. I had the clam chowder and it was pretty good. The soup was creamy and had a nice proportion of clams and other ingredients with it. Dinner was ok, but to be honest now that I am writing this review, I can not remember what I had so it did not leave that great of an impression on me. I am going to have to think about this, and if I can remember I will had to edit my review. I have a feeling that if you are from out of town, and want to have an amazing dinner, there might other options that would be better in the area.

Your typical American bar and grill. Kind of gimmicky and touristy in Seaport Village. Food was alright, not bad, but nothing I would want to go back to, unless I had to. If you’re looking for a quick lunch or dinner I recommend this spot, but if you’re looking to enjoy a dinner by the water, I recommend you choose a different place.

Located in San Diego in touristy Seaport village. The great view makes up for sticky tables and adequate food. Fish tacos were bland and unexciting but what can you expect when choices are limited. Go here for the view and convenience, don’t expect outstanding food…

I’m not sure why the reviews are so low. Today I tried the burger and it was excellent. There are fast food places that charge you more than the $ 13(five guys) for their burger plus you get coleslaw on top of the fries. Our service was good and they were accepting of our dog too.

Great venue especially for lunch or dinner during a trade show at the nearby Convention Center. Food was great, service was very good and view of marina and Coronado Bridge is nice! Would go back in a minute!

This was a different type of bbq located in San Diego’s marina. After you venture beyond the normal hotel chains you get to a spot and you think«finally». Get the combo meal for two and order the ribs and luau pork. Just make your way there and feel the love in the sauce.

Came here for breakfast. Really wanted to check out seaport village. Seaport village does not have a lot of breakfast options but this place was really good. I ordered the baja egg skillet meal that came with tortillas. The skillet came with potatoes, eggs, veggies and chorizo. My meal was very large and filling and was just $ 14. Coffee was $ 3. Service was good. Food came out very quickly. They do have outdoor seating with a view of the marina and the big yachts!

While in Seaport Village we wanted to enjoy a seafood meal by the port with a pretty view. The restaurants we came across all had 3 stars, including this one, but we liked this menu a little more because it wasn’t as expensive and a few things caught our eyes. Normally if a place is 3 stars or less I’m a little skeptical. We gave it a shot anyway and enjoyed some of our food, key word some. The place has outdoor seating, a bar area and restaurant area with booths and tables. We sat at a booth and noticed we were the only table seated. Everyone else was in the patio or at the bar. It was happy hour so maybe lots of the people were there for drinks and apps. So being the only table seated you would think we would get good service, we we didn’t! Our waitress came over and got our orders promptly but throughout the time she would not check on our drinks, see if we needed anything, a couple of times I called her over to us. By the kitchen area, to the side of us, there was a group of servers, including ours, and some cooks just chatting it up the whole time. It wasn’t busy so they took to laughing it up and chatting. This was pretty frustrating when we are just sitting right there and couldn’t get checked for refills, napkins, ask how food was, boxes, etc. As for the food it was mediocre and should be better for the price. What I was happy with the most was the appetizer. Its a combo including chicken skewers, spinach dip, coconut shrimp and calamari. The shrimp were delicious and had a sweet marmalade sauce. The dip was tasty and had lots of artichoke in it. The calamari was a bit soggy and undercooked. The chicken skewers were not grilled but appeared boiled with a teriyaki. Could have definitely been better for almost $ 30. As for the food the best one was my meal which was the Cajun salmon. The salmon we cooked perfect and was served on veggies. The veggies were cooked perfect with a little crunch left like I like them. As for everything else not so good. The flatbread 4 cheese pizza was burnt underneath. The skewer plate came with rice pilaf which was really hard. The fish and shrimp on the skewers were overlooked and chewy. The veggies had no seasoning. The clam chowder had chunks of carrots which made the soup sweet and we didn’t like it. With lack of service and food not being good even when they are not busy this place deserves its star rating at 3 or less.

Great spot to check out views of the harbor. Excellent options of food and beer. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. On my last visit my server Kari was extreamly helpful and responsive.

A quiet little place in Seaport Village in San Diego, CA. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast/brunch, I highly recommend. The location is key, because it’s walking distance from downtown, and located amongst several shops right along the water. My wife and I both went with the Griddle Combination. Mmm. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, regular pancakes, and bacon! The eggs were good, but nothing to rave about. Well better than hotel eggs I can tell you that! Add a little salt and pepper, and you’ll be satisfied. The bacon. Yum! Slightly undercooked, just how I love it! If you like your bacon slightly undercooked, and super flavorful, get it! The pancakes. Not bad! Thick, and well cooked. The maple syrup and butter included are a perfect combination as well! I can’t speak to other meals on the menu, or to their lunch/dinner options, but the breakfast was a good choice! Our final bill, with waters, came out to about $ 35.00 after tip. A little pricey for breakfast, but who cares. It’s San Diego, enjoy yourself!

While this isn’t the best place I’ve ever eaten, I’d give it 3.5 stars. We usually don’t eat at places with such low reviews but we were walking around Seaport and were super hungry/needing to find a restroom. There didn’t seem to be many affordable options around so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try it out. We were able to sit outside overlooking the water which was really nice. Our server was very attentive and helpful. The food was just decent. We ordered buzzard wings and the fish sandwich to split. The wings and fries were great, the fish sandwich not so great. For my toddler, the server offered to do the fish and chips without the breading. I really appreciated the healthier option, unfortantely his fish also wasn’t very good and he didn’t really want to eat it. I’d come here again for the view but the food is definitely not anything special

My husband and I have eaten here a few times when we’ve been in San Diego. We always really enjoy our time. We’ve eaten both indoors and on the patio. Our servers have always been amazing. The food is always delicious. I’ve had the Mimosa a couple of times. It’s pretty good. We always get the French Toast. It’s cooked to perfection and topped with bananas and toasted coconut. I’ve also had the Santa Cruz skillet and the Baja skillet. All of my food has always been good. Staff has always been great. Never had one complaint. The only downfall is some of the foot traffic along the sidewalk. I was approached by «someone in need» while I was eating on the patio asking for donations. Other than that, this place is a fantastic place to stop by and enjoy at any time of day.

We picked Buster’s for lunch because of what they offered on the menu. We usually like to look at the menus posted outside before we decide where to eat. They have there menu posted within easy view. We were greeted by a friendly smiling server that gave us a nice booth looking out on the water. Since we hadn’t been there before we asked for suggestions so she offered several seafood and fish choices. My wife decided on the Fish Tacos and I got the Island Mahi Mahi. Both were served hot and delicious. The service was quick and very good. The ambiance is cool inside and there is a quirky old VW parked right inside along with decorations that adorn the walls. There is also a nice deck to sit outside on a nice day. A very nice place to eat.

Enjoyed breakfast at Buster’s Beach House on Thanksgiving morning. Outside seating was perfect and we enjoyed watching people strolling — and jogging — along the marina. Prices were very reasonable: $ 8.00 for a two-egg breakfast with potatoes and a choice of breakfast bread. DH had the $ 10 Dawn Patrol which came with a meat option, He had the ham — a large, but thin slice I liked the many options on the breakfast breads. DH opted for just toast and I had a flavorful English muffin. Among the other options were a variety of muffins, and tortillas. Two options were offered on potatoes: Buster’s potatoes or hash browns. So glad we opted for Buster’s potatoes: Nice cubes cooked with onions and peppers. The peppers had a real kick to them. We only had coffee, but the drinks at nearby tables looked delicious, especially the Bloody Mary’s. Service was friendly and quick. Would certainly consider a return visit.

Pretty chill place. I came in after a brisk walk along the marina park. The service and the food were Great! My server Mary was really friendly :) she recommend the Tsunami salad and it was super delicious !! The clam shower was definitely one of my top I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely come again. It’s so relaxing it makes me feel like I’m in Oahu Hawaii.

Easter Brunch Review Only– Since I was late making Easter reservations this year everything was all booked up. Stumbled across this place through a search and was pleasantly surprised they had an opening for a party of 8 available. The price was very reasonable…$ 30 adults and $ 15 kids. Easter Sunday we arrived on time to our reservation and got seated immediately. We had a table next to the window upstairs which had a nice view but the food was downstairs. Kind of annoying to walk up and down the stairs to get food but I guess we worked off some extra calories. Keep in mind when making reservations if you have babies or elderly family members. Sit downstairs. Food was ok. Nothing stood out but there was a wide variety of items from brisket, salmon, sushi, omelette station and waffles pancakes and all the trimmings. They also had a small salad bar and dessert station. I appreciated that the desserts were in tiny bite size portions. They had a small chocolate fountain too with strawberries, pineapples and marshmallows. Each person was allowed two beverages of your choice– coffee, juice or tea which was great. Alcohol was extra. All in all it was a very nice casual brunch. They had an Easter bunny walking around to take pictures with and he handed out free treats for the kids. We were there around 10am and it wasn’t crowded or busy which was nice. I’m glad we saved money and didn’t do the normal $ 100 pp Easter brunch this year! 3 solid stars! They validate parking too!
