They want $ 15 an hour? Go to fucking hell. If yall mothafuckin employees can’t even get my order down correctly what makes you think your smartass will earn $ 15? First, they forgot to give my change. Secondly, they didn’t give my small fries. Yall need to stop acting like lazy ass 50 year olds working at a fast food. You’re there for a reason for work.

I’m here as a PAYINGCUSTOMER and I rest my head on the table while on my phone with my face turned towards the wall and the manager smacks the table and says, «no sleeping«then walks away. This is rude first of all. A respectful tap on the shoulder would have been fine but smacking the table is unnecessary. The fact that I am a teenager does not give the manager an excuse to act very rude.

I visit this place quite often, as this place is quite convenient and fast, but unfortunately they have messed up my order on numerous occasions. As mentioned before they always have plenty of parking. And they usually get my orders out pretty fast. They also have tons of good food deals. And the food is pretty much what you would expect out of a fast food joint, good but not great, but it hits the spot. Sadly they have gotten my order incorrect multiple times. In particular when asking for no cheese on my burger. I even ordered one of their specialty burgers with no cheese, and drove home with a famous star with cheese one time… I was not happy.

This Carl’s Jr. gets upgraded to 3 stars because the Big Burger($ 1.89) is now available at this location. The management refused to carry this item until recently. I’m not sure what changed, but it’s a good thing that Mira Mesa folks now no longer have to drive over to the Scripps Ranch Carl’s Jr. to get it. As of this writing, the Big Burger can be considered to be the only«value» item Carl’s Jr offers(besides their ill-conceived temporary 4 for 4 Real Deal.) Notably, the burger patty in the Big Burger is the same one Carl’s Jr. sells for nearly $ 4.00 in another burger configuration with a stiff piece of lettuce and an unripe tomato slice. We have had other issues in the past with this particular Carl’s Jr. including way under-cooked meat and stale buns(so stale that tapping the edge of the bun on the table made a noise like tapping a rock on the table), and unremittingly incomprehensible drive-thru voices. Hopefully these have been addressed besides this new menu addition.

Very disappointing experience with the night shift staff. There was nobody at the front counter to take orders(9:30p Friday), employees were not even at their work station, it looked like a ghost place. Then a female employee came from the back of the kitchen and when we asked for someone to take our order, she didn’t acknowledged us, but only yelled: Adriana… Apparently, Adriana had left the front counter to take personal calls in the bathroom(more than 10 mins.), and didn’t care about any customers. We left this place, and will not return at least during night hours. Management: please do something about it!

Your employees have no right or authority to search a clients purse. Next time call the cops. It was unnecessary and embarrassing for my mother to be searched against her will with her 2 year old granddaughter watching.

The Health Dept should shut them down. Don’t eat here. They don’t wash their hands thoroughly. I came here to eat, went to the restroom to wash my hands, none of the soap dispensers had soap. Asked my son to get some from the boys restroom, none there either. Informed the staff, they pretty much brushed me off. We ate at the restaurant(with burgers in their wrappers) –just to see how long they would take to refill the soap. Saw staff go in there for the restroom. My son and I went to both restrooms just to double-check…still no soap. Leaves me to believe the staff doesn’t use soap. They should be shut down!

HORRIBLESERVICE!!! I had to repeat my order 4 times at the Drive-Thru speaker, and when the employee repeated it to me at the window, it was wrong, so I had to repeat it again for a total of 5 times! When I mentioned to the manager that I should receive a discount for all of my trouble, she simply ignored me. When they finally handed me my order and I looked into the bag, guess what? YES! It was WRONGAGAIN!!! The employees are rude, badly trained and not exactly competent or customer focused. Skip this location for the Carl’s Jr. on Miramar Rd., where the service is much better.

Nastiest restaurant ever! I went to their restroom(after ordering) and the women’s bathroom was literally flooded with urine. I told the two ladies at the cashiers and they basically just ignored me. GROSS! i didn’t want to even eat what i ordered. So it went to the trash :(Why can’t i rate them a ZERO?

Just want you’d expect from a Carl’s Jr. I came in here for a quick random breakfast and it was exactly as I remembered it. It’s fast food so it won’t be healthy but I do like Carl’s Jr. as a place that portrays themselves as a bigger burger chain. That’s what we all want right? It’s our right as ‘murican’s. Still, as the competitions for our precious artery space heats up, Carl’s Jr. is always a contender.

I conclude that Carl’s Jr has better quality burgers compared to McDonald’s and Burger King. Not a big fan of the Whopper and burgers from McDonald’s upset my stomach. I like their Guacamole Bacon Thickburger(formerly 6 Dollar Burgers). The guacamole and bacon go well together on a burger. The veggies seem crisp and fresh. My other favorite burger is the Big Carl. It’s their version of Big Mac and it’s definitely better, they have their own version of the Mac sauce and exclude the extra bun that McDonalds leaves in. More meatier burger than the Big Mac. They need to bring back the Strawberry Pop-tart Ice Cream Sandwich, those were a great treat. Their French fries are not anything special, in fact, I don’t order them when I go. I get their CrissCut fries as my side, even better with their Buttermilk Ranch dip. My boyfriend prefers their Fried Zucchini, I didn’t like them at first but they are growing on me, perhaps cause it’s fried and I dipped in ranch. They recently added Jalapeño Poppers which are good.

Ordered a bacon western cheeseburger combo since I haven’t ate one in years and was super excited. The dude at drive thru looks young and had a happy personality. My food was cold. The onion ring was so hard to bite into and just dry. I took one bite and threw it away. The fries were cold and soggy. I came at 11pm. On the bright side my vanilla shake was good. Hours on Unilocal for this place is all incorrect.

The last time I came here was with a friend to claim his free meal, when I swore I wouldn’t eat here again after my friend ended up with a bug in his burger. I gave up a few days ago and decided to get some friends. I pulled up to the Drive Thru window and as I began my order, I noticed not 1,2,3,4 but at least 5FATCOCKROACHES all running around under the drive thru menu and the surrounding grass. I didn’t even finish my order, I just backed out and left. What conditions are the inside of the store kept in? Someone is going to get really sick off this place one day.

I’ve lived in Mira Mesa for 2 years. I recently went this Carl’s Jr for something quick and easy. I ordered a western bacon cheeseburger with no cheese because I’m allergic. When I looked at the burger, it had cheese on it and the woman at the counter said I asked for cheese when I never did! The woman had a bitchy attitude. And the customer is ALWAYS right. Even if they say 2+2 is 5, theyre still right! I’m never going back. Fuck this place!

I would give zero stars if I could. This place is bad! First the didn’t give me an itemized receipt so I couldn’t check if my order was right. Then once I got my over priced food, it looked like it was literally squished together and I don’t think they realize that ketchup is supposed to be on the inside not all over the outside of the bun. I couldn’t even eat more than 2 bites it was so nasty!

Every Carls Jr. I have ever been to has hot and fresh criss-cut fries except this one. I got my CC fries in drive through and after one bite I knew I got burned. Really cold and stale as hell, like sitting around all day stale. My turkey burger was cold even. I won’t be back to this location again.

I stop by here often for some late night cravings or after a night of partying. I’ve been here more times than I can count and each and every time I’ve been treated very well. Customer service for me has been excellent each and every time. I usually go to the drive through but will sometimes go inside to order depending on what time I come by this Carls Jr. They have always been kind and courteous with my order. They have been quick on the drive thru whenever I come. Yes, it does get crowded in the drive thru during the late night hours when people are coming home from partying/clubbing, but the wait isn’t so bad considering the amount of people that are there. They have always asked what kind of sauce I want at the window which is nice. When I ask for ranch they give me plenty. My go to meal here is the double western cheeseburger or the spicy chicken sandwiches. They make them real good here for the price and when I’m in a hurry I’ll usually pick up a few for me and my family. The location is good, they have multiple entrances to the restaurant, their drive thru moves quick so you wont have to wait in a long drive thru line. There is plenty of parking outside if you want to dine in there. They are 24 hours but only the drive thru is 24 hours. Great place for some late night cravings!

Customer service here is an absolute joke. The women working the drive thru always have a bad attitude! I’m pregnant and was craving a shake in the middle of the night, after the ridiculously long wait(when my husband and I were the only ones in the drive thru and the inside was empty), the woman working handed me a half full melted shake… seriously? Then when I asked if she could remake it(Sorry, not about to pay that much for half a shake and bad customer service from the get go) she gave me one of the nastiest looks I’ve ever gotten. Of course, it took forever to get another shake, which was still crappy but I gave up. I looked to see if she was wearing a name tag so I could call in the morning and speak with a manager, but of course she wasn’t. The sad thing is this wasn’t even my first bad experience, needless to say I will NEVER come back to this Carls ever!!!
