This place sucks. I ordered the steak fajitas before a flight. They brought it out, but instead of usual steak, it was shaved steak that they use for their steak and cheese sandwhich. But they chopped it in chunks to make it look like kind of like steak. I brought this to the attention of the bartender, who acted like she didn’t understand what I was talking about. I had to show her, peeling layer after layer of sliced steak until a chunk was gone. She said that’s how it’s supposed to be. I told her I’ve been eating fajitas from Chili’s for as long as I can remember. Only after this did she take it to the kitchen. She then returns and says the cooks just told her they were out of fajita steak and asked if I wanted something else. I said no, she takes it off the check and hands me the bill for my beer. No «sorry», nothing like that. Avoid this place if you can(but there’s not much else at thyis airport).

I came in here years ago with my girlfriend as she was from Canada and I had to send her off back home. We thought it would be nice to get one more meal together before she had to leave, so we sat in at Chili’s Too. The menu is extremely limited and the service stinks. I used to wait tables at Chili’s, so I am extremely understanding and easy to serve, but these people really eeked me. I asked if I could substitute veggies for fries with my entrée and I was told«yes.» When my bill came, not only had I been charged for refills on both my and my girlfriend’s iced teas, but I had been charged for veggies as well. I asked the server about it, she removed the refill charges, and told me that she had to charge me for the veggies. I asked her to remove the charge as I was under the impression that they were free(as she told me it was a free substitution when I had asked her.). She came back and told me her manager refused to take the $ 1.50 charge from my bill, so I told her to send him over. After about 8 minutes of explaining to him that I would not have gotten this substitution if I had been told it would cost me extra, the manager still refused to take it off(apparently a dollar fifty is worth more than customer satisfaction/common sense to these people). This was not only irritating but actually embarrassing and a complete waste of the time I was trying to hang onto with my girlfriend before she had to leave me for a long period of time. The nerve of these people! Never again.

With the choices in Terminal 1 of the San Diego International Airport being so limited and despite our better judgement, we decided to give this Chili’s another try. We sat down once again and ordered two orders of crispy chicken crispers for lunch. This time the service was fast and efficient, however, the chicken crispers were overcooked and greasy. If it wasn’t for the ranch dipping sauce, they would have been completely inedible. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Just like every other airport Chili Too, except the service really sucks! Took the server 15 minutes to deliver the $ 3 mug of ice tea and never came by for a refill… But she had a nice time chatting with the other servers! Pass unless you are starving to death… and then think hard if you might as well die anyway.

I don’t really eat at Chili’s but I imagine it’s supposed to have food better than this. I ordered chicken tenders thinking it was a safe bet. I lost that bet and my appetite.

Just like any other Chili’s but it’s smaller and has less items on the menu. There was one server for the whole restaurant — poor guy! And just like any other Chili’s, the food was decent and wasn’t anything to write home about. I’m trying another eatery, tho, next time at the San Diego Airport.
