I’ve know Dr. Cho since I was in middle school when I snapped my ACL in my right knee. Through a month of chiropractic treatment with her, my knee improved greatly and eventually healed itself without the need for surgery. Then, a few years later, a car side-swept me and I ended up with severe spine injuries. All I have to say about this is that Dr. Cho is an angel and she’s a pretty cool person. She heals me everytime I go. Any kinks I have, she fixes. Additionally, she actually cares about patients. She remembers every single one of her patients, gives you extra care, and genuinely worries about you. If you want a chiropractor that not only is exceptional at their job, but actually is attentive and cares about your health, definitely go to her.

When I first visited Dr. Cho, honestly, I was not so sure chiropractic could help me. My lower-mid back had been hurting me for about 10 years. Simple things like vacuuming the floor carpets often had me stuck in some bent over position, one hip dramatically higher than the other, and in a lot of pain. Trying to stand up straight after this was often difficult and very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, two years ago I was in a motorbike accident in Thailand. The accident tossed my body in the air and I landed on my lower back and the back of my head on street pavement(I was wearing a helmet, thank goodness!) Not long after I found myself unable to walk, or even crawl, with excruciating pain and numbness in my lower back and all the way down my legs. I had no feeling at all in my feet. I was in Boston at the time and had a few visits with a chiropractor but felt no relief. Slowly, slowly, after nearly 3 months in bed, the numbness subsided and the pain got better. When I moved to Rancho Penasquitos and discovered Dr. Cho’s clinic, I decided to give chiropractic one more shot. I use my body a lot for work, so my being physically able to work depends on my body feeling good. On my first visit to Dr. Cho about 2 months ago, she took an x-ray of my spine. It was dramatically curved to the left and my lower lumbar was scrunched. She was even surprised. This all explained one hip being higher than the other, and the«locked» position I would often find myself in bending over even just a bit. I had a really good feeling about Dr. Cho during my first visit. She seemed to genuinely care about my condition and helping me feel better. She also utilized a lot of tools, techniques and therapies in her practice that I had never experienced from another chiropractor. I have been seeing Dr. Cho twice per week for over 2 months now and I can honestly say I feel wonderful! My spine has straightened, my hips are aligned, my lower back is relieved and my body does not hold me back from work or simple tasks like it did before. I also feel like I can breathe deeply in my whole body again, as if some obstruction has been removed, and it has. I have more energy, more awareness in my body and I’m more active as a result. I am so thankful to Dr. Cho for being a genuine healer and a true professional in her practice. I am also thankful to myself for giving chiropractic another chance! I have recommended Dr. Cho to many friends and will continue to do so.

Dr. Cho is simply the best! I have been to numerous chiropractors all over San Diego and have to say she’s amazing. She never overcharged me like others and very helpful and friendly. Try to find a time slot when she’s not busy though, if you mind the wait time — usually weekdays or Saturday afternoons are the best. That said, she actually takes time to take care of patients and does her best to help you, not like other chiropractors who only saw me for 5 – 10 minutes to «adjust» my back. If you’re looking for a short-term relief from your chronic back & neck pain and if you have insurance, Dr. Cho’s clinic might just do the trick. Dr. Cho also taught me some of the physical therapy work I can do myself at home with an exercise ball that can strengthen my upper body. Her cool gel worked pretty well with my aching muscles when I was really weak and in pain. They also have an acupuncturist in the same office if you’re into that. I got one session from them and it didn’t do much for me, but one of my friends swore by it. The acupuncturist accurately diagnosed my problem however, so I don’t know if going for more sessions would have helped further.
