Clayton MD Total Health is providing what I consider to be the best program on this planet for assisting seniors in achieving optimal health. I’m 64, have been participating for three months and am grateful to have this opportunity! Love the staff, the caring and the fun/motivation I am experiencing… and especially the excellent health!

I’ve been working out with Dr. Dave for over a year. His facility is conveniently located in Sorrento Valley. The studio is simple, clean, well organized. One hour group sessions include stretching, cardio and strength training. Think of it as «crossfit lite.» All participants wear heart monitors, so you can always check the wall-mounted displays to see how hard you are working. While all are welcome, most members are 55+. Huge advantage is having a physician on site to motivate us toward healthy habits, including nutrition and brain fitness.

David Clayton has been my primary care physician, and the first time I saw him, I knew I wanted him to be my doctor for as long as possible! When he started ClaytonMD Total Health, I tracked him down, finished a one-on-one consultation with him and my wife and I read his book. I’ve implemented his nutrition plan and been a member of his gym for nearly 6months now, have lost a lot of weight, feel better, healthier, and would not miss my 6am class for anything! He and his trainers are dedicated, he personally supervises many of the workout sessions, to include the 6am ones, and walks the talk himself! Each member of his program has a positive story to tell, many of who have discontinued anti hypertensive, lipid lowering and diabetes medications. Very, very highly recommended!

Dr. Clayton and staff are some of the most dedicated health professionals out there! The environment is friendly and the class sizes are small! You also can talk to Dr. Clayton 1 on 1 about any health questions or concerns!
