Great selection for such a small place, not too expensive, some coffee selection, quick grab for yogurts, juices, etc. Very nice outside sitting area.

I sometimes forget about coming here because it is tucked away in a business park, when when I do, I always find that the staff is really nice and I’m happy with my meal. The menu board is old school with the push on letters which gives the counter a feel of a vintage coffee shop. I usually get the daily special or a cheeseburger. The wedge fries that come as a side are great. There’s a back patio where I usually wait for my take out and listen for my number to be called over the outdoor speaker which also plays a variety of music.

You can taste the fresh ingredients and the food came out right away. The service was better than other cafes in the area and the owners were there to make sure everything was alright. I would recommend this place for cheap and quick food. I got the breakfast burrito and it was spot on. Filling and appetizing.

This place is like a hidden gem in a corner of a business mall. The variety of menu might be overwhelming but don’t be afraid to try something new! I’ve not regretted my decision once trying out new things. They also have daily specials which is a killer deal for $$ Did I mention that their portion is very generous? I never leave hungry or crave for more food after eating at coffee time. The name«Coffee Time» might be a little misleading but I talked to the owner and he said the name has been the same for a while so he’s just keeping it. This place has great food! I always bring my friends with me and they love it. P.S The menu on Unilocal is not up to date. I will post a picture soon.

I ordered food here twice. The first time, it was unappetizing. The 2nd time, diarrhea for 3 straight days. Stay away from the chili fries! In fact, I recommend to do as I now do, and just stay away!

Coffee Time Deli is basic in its no-frills approach and does the job fine if you want a quick bite to eat on your lunch break. They are located in the Sorrento Valley industrial district and mainly serve the employees of the surrounding businesses. This is a nice small business that is well run — where the owners do care about delivering quality and tasty food to their customers with friendly, attentive service.. I usually go with the grilled cheese and ham sandwich & side of fries– unhealthy, but tastes fairly good!

I’m really torn on this. Their Hammerheads(double espresso) have made many a sleepy work day extremely productive, yet I have to add my own non-dairy coffemate creamer to it.(They have the powdered version, but I discriminate and need my flavored liquid version). This would immediately increase my 3 stars to 4.5(yes, this is my fantasy world where I would give a .5 star too). Now, if they didn’t want to introduce delicous dairy free creamer to the mix, I completely understand, but the name itself«Coffee Time» leads one to believe they specialize in Coffee. Mind you, where they redeem themselves is the«Deli» portion of their name. Their prices are great, and the food is delicous. They don’t skimp on the bacon in the BLT and it is perfectly deliciously crisp. Their soup is tasty. Pretty much if I could rate this on food alone, we’d be up to 4.5 to 5. And condiments. I mean I think everyone should have Sriacha as an option. I wouldn’t necessarily drive from my home to here for a sandwich, but the location can’t be beat since I work in the same industrial park and the food is so so good. Today I brought my lunch and found myself staring longingly at their menu(obviously while I was ordering hammerheads for a company meeting) trying to decide if I should just buy lunch instead of the leftover pasta I’d been eating for 3 days straight.

Can’t beat the price! If you are looking for a huge portion of french toast that is delicious try this place! Their sanwiches are ok.

Great place for a quick lunch. I work nearby so I drop by Coffee Time for a sandwich, burger, or snack from time to time. I wouldn’t come out of my way to get here. Some of the menu items(like the thai chicken wrap, chicken teriyaki bowl, etc) aren’t that great, but others like the chicken cordon blue sandwich, turkey avocado sandwich, and Reuben are very good. The cute Korean couple who work here are very friendly and try to get your order out asap. Tip: call ahead and they’ll have you’re food ready when you get there. I call maybe…7 minutes ahead and by the time I get there, my sandwich and fries is already done! Perfect!

This place ROCKS! I have only gone to this place before because its within walking distance of my office(otherwise a café/deli that is part of an office park seems odd to me) and I have loved everything that I have ordered. They have a great variety of food(salads, sandwiches, burgers, asian dishes, etc) and everything is freshly prepared and the service is great. Food: Very good, love the variety of options from salads to sandwiches to hot plates(including carrot and celerty sticks and dip, fruit salad, fresh sushi, drinks, chips, etc) Service: GREAT The people here are so friendly! Location: GREAT If you work in Sorrento Valley the location is great. Walking distance for me but ample parking otherwise Ambiance: Good hey, its a deli and feels like one inside, but there is also a great patio in the back. AND free wifi! Value: Good.

I find myself eating here pretty regularly because I attend weekly meetings in the same parking lot. Their food is good but not spectacular. They are a trusty, reliable and pretty tasty lunch.

Thursdays are Quesadilla day! My coworker showed me this place a few weeks ago and we’ve been going back almost every thursday. Why? Because it’s a nice 5 minute walk to get there and it’s not work. The food is okay, I’m not sure why but today really hit the spot. It’s a typical price point for typical food. About $ 8 after tax/tip for a decent sized quesadilla with a scoop of sour cream, rice and beans. The quesadilla had chicken in it which made it have a good texture/taste. This place is not something I’d go out of my way for and I don’t think any of you should either. And if any Unilocalers are in the area and wanna grab lunch here, hit me up!

I may be the youngest employee within a three-mile radius, which would probably explain why I’m the first to review. I frequent this place at least once a week, mainly for a breakfast burrito fix. They don’t skimp on the ham and the eggs are always fluffy. What I really like is that the burrito features shredded hash browns instead of the expected cubed potatoes and adds a nice texture. To top it off, they even have house-made hot sauce! I always get 2 to get the full experience. I’ve also come for lunch, where I’m usually holding up the line ’cause there’s so much to choose from! Items range from hot dogs to ramen(and of course the standard deli staples of sandwiches and salads), all at reasonable prices. It’s kinda tucked away, but once you follow the crowd of people with clip-on photo ID’s you’ll find it.
