Stopped by today for the first time and will definitely be back! I got a hot pastrami sandwich… yumm! While eating inside I got to see the great customer service the staff provided to everyone. Service with a smile! And fast service. With the short lunch breaks people get, I can definitely appreciate this. Thank you Mike and AJ for the great sandwich and for making me smile! You guys are great!

I signed up for Unilocal just to write a review about how much I love this place. The food is incredible and they can basically make whatever you want if it’s not on the menu, but the menu is great anyway. They have different specials M-F and always sell out around 1:00, so you have to call and ask them to hold one if you can’t make it before then! Everyone there is very kind and laid back and the prices make it all that much better.

A hidden gem in Mira Mesa. Quality sandwiches and service. My favorite is the Eggplant Parmesan. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Love being able to walk here from where I work. They have a different special every day of the work week. The people who work there are also very friendly. I love getting their sandwiches, especially the parm ones or the daily double. Plus, prices are reasonable and a good, hefty portion.

Came in for breakfast and ordered a bagel and smoothie. Both came out within 3 or 4 mins and I was on my way! good customer service and convenient location near work.

These guys are awesome! And I’m not saying that because I use to work there but for the main reason that they truly do care about their guest just as much as I did :) Fresh ingredients delivered directly from your local producers provide a quality sandwich. It’s not Burger King or jack in the box but they don’t make it till you order it, your way! My favorite sandwiches are the daily triple, hot godfather, chicken salad w bacon and pepper jack or cheddar or both! These guys will customize anything and I would also like to add that they are highly skilled Djays!

Cute little deli tucked away in the business park of Sorrento Valley. Great if you have a short lunch break and just want to tuck away for 30 minutes and get an amazing sandwich. Someone left a review that the staff was rude but I can’t see how that is possible. It must have just been a super busy time because when I was in there they were so friendly! I felt like I was instantly friends with this family that owns the business. Great food! I’m vegetarian so I got the eggplant parm and it was amazing. Plus, you’re first time checking in on Unilocal they give you a free soft drink! Highly recommend.

Office is just around the corner and a great place to get food! Family oriented and after a couple lunch trips, they already know my «usual» lol Small place, but great food. Apparently they deliver as well too, although I have never used that, just always walked. I get the Sausage Parmesian sandwich and its like $ 6. So good though… its frickin bomb Try it out if you get the chance… I’d definitely recommend it. Everyone from my work(iMatrix) goes here as well too at least once a week

I work in the area and have given this place plenty of chances. I don’t like giving low ratings to small businesses, but I have to make an exception here. The workers are consistently rude and slow and the food is mediocre at best. I would rather walk the extra ten minutes to mamma Lina’s than give these guys any more of my money. The only reason I can think of that they are still in business is they are the only restaurant around. Please avoid!

I really like this deli in my new office! Great sandwiches and salads and the people are very nice. After just a few visits they remembered my name which was a nice touch.

This place has the bombest sandwiches I have ever had in Mira Mesa. And I love that it’s hidden away in a business park! Makes me feel like I have that secret sandwich place I could go to whenever I’m craving a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich! The workers here are great and super friendly. And the vibes you get walking into the place is great because everyone is happy! Great customer service. Great job Dom’s!

It’s fast. It’s convenient. And meatloaf Tuesdays are a big hit with my company. The place is in an office building and has a pretty extensive sandwich menu with daily specials as well. Tuesdays they have meatloaf. A hefty slice is served with mashed potatoes and gravy plus salad all for six dollars and change. Now that’s a deal. For me, I can make it two meals due to the portion size. For my male co-workers, they wolf it down in minutes. The service is friendly and they are always busy at lunchtime. I’ve had different sandwiches before and the clam chowder, all of which has been just fine. But I really only go anymore for the meatloaf.

Completely unexpected because it’s sort of hidden away amidst some corporate buildings but the food is great. The sandwiches are fresh and the service is awesome. I go there for breakfast sandwiches in the morning sometimes since its so close to our office building and the guy always makes it fresh after I order. We thought we might try ordering here for lunch since they make some pretty good breakfast sandwiches. Today, we ordered a pretty big order for lunch and they told me it was a 20 min. wait and you could tell it was busy even over the phone. I went and expected my order not to be ready because it was packed. Got to the front of the line and there is our order all ready to go. I got the quinella burger, a bag of chips, the chicken salad, the sausage parmesan, and more but each of them were AWESOME. You can tell that the service is good because they recognized an older lady in front of me and remembered what she likes and were so friendly. It was good to see that kind of nice service. You wouldn’t expect much from how it looks since it has no special decorations or themes, or even much seating except for a few seats inside and the cement tables outside, but the food tastes fresh and delicious! They make it for you AFTER you order it instead of heating up some frozen nonsense. Definitely will be coming here for lunch a lot more from now on. One thing I realized though, must order way before for delivery around lunchtime because when we called it was around an hour wait which we should have suspected. Seriously though, GREATFOOD!

I don’t know what some of the people on here are talking about. Dom’s deli is not the same as a store bought sandwich. That’s crazy talk. All bread is fresh, all produce is fresh, all meats and cheeses are cut everyday. Try the Godfather, try a daily double on squaw bread with creamy garlic dressing and you can’t go wrong. Lastly the csp(chicken salad pastrami)…whatttttt??? Exactly… you don’t even know. Add bacon if your gangsta. Best thing is you ask mike or angel know exactly the sandwich you want and they’ll make it, add salami or ceaser dressing. Heck even a hard boiled egg to your godfather. They will do it. I don’t even live in Mira Mesa anymore but I still drop in for my fix. Go try now.

This place needs more reviews! Dominic’s is a small, hidden gem located in the corporate area of Sorrento Valley right behind Mira Mesa Blvd. There will be signs leading into it but it’s still a little hard to find amidst all the corporate buildings. Parking is plentiful though and there is outdoor seating. Great for lunch, they offer a variety of sandwiches that you can pair with different bread options such as ciabatta, sourdough, wheat and croissant. They also have daily specials, soups, protein smoothies and salads. Since I don’t like to splurge during my lunch hour but hate the idea of fast food it’s an awesome place to get quality food for a great price. They also have candy, chips, teas, all kinds of juices for you snackers out there. I usually get the daily double, add avocado, on wheat or croissant. Try it out!

I’ve had lunch here about 4 times this year. I have not had anything bad from this place as of yet. There breakfast was great. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich was great. Not too greasy and great flavor of cheese. The bacon was crispy and not soggy. I had some beef sandwich with a great dip sauce with it. I think it was the don or the godfather. Anyways it was awesome. They also deliver. Once they told me it would be about a hour wait. I will admit I was starving and I told the guy«Really and hour? Well ok I’ll wait for it.(insert sad face here) Well it was delivered in about 25 minutes. Yaaa

For the convenience, I give them 4 stars. I work in the same building as they are located and having them in the building is convenient when no other options are present. For the food: I give them 3 stars. I’ve only had their sandwiches, which I hear are the only things that are eatable. Nothing fancy. Good old fashioned sandwiches. But I will note, that the cost is high for what you’re getting. For the service, I give them 0 stars. Aside from the ‘not so friendly’ lady who I believe owns the place… integrity in your business is very important. They claim to be open from 7am-2:30pm. On many occasions i’ve gone there at 1:15, 1:30, 1:45, 2:00pm and they have closed early for no apparent reason. Not a sign posted or anything. That to me is rude and a waste of my time. Dont post hours if you’re going to close early constantly. I will no longer buy breakfast or lunch from this place. I recommend any of the other deli’s nearby as a replacement.

Just moved into the area — well the company I work for did… Today was the first day of trying out the local flare that delivers… The menu is great — has a lot to offer and has vegetarian items. The delivery was quick and the food hot. I had a combo — Chili and a half Daily Triple sandwich. The chili is really good! More beans than meat the way I like it, served with crackers and cheese. The triple daily is turkey, bacon, avo and pepper jack cheese. They have rye squaw bread. Love it. My coworker had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich on a hogie — smells fab! Maybe she will let me steal a bite! I will keep you posted on the consistency.
