I searched for a hair salon on Unilocal and chose one that had no negative comments. Martha answered the phone when I called and was able to get me in right away. She’s very friendly… but while she was cutting my hair, I realized she had a different technique that I had never seen before. As she began styling it, I saw she made huge mistakes. Prior to the cut, she commented that I should keep my length, but then she cut my hair so short that I can’t even get it repaired. There are so many layers and they are all so short and uneven I need a headband for the top of my hair and then a clip for the back. There is no way I can let my hair down, it looks so bad. On top of that, she THINNED my hair and it seems I have lost half the volume. I have never been so disappointed and shocked with a haircut. I wish I could go back in time and never seen her ad…

Martha is magic! Let her tell you want you want. I felt like the only person on earth for the hour she took to cut my hair. Any more relaxed and I’d have fallen asleep. I just closed my eyes and let her do her thing.

If you live in the neighborhood of North Park or close by and like your hair done right, give Martha a shot at Cuts R Us. This isn’t some «Super Cuts» generic type of place and it’s not some plastic fancy shmancy beverly hills type salon. This is a great place to get your hair done (even if you want to get fancy schmancy) and get personalized service from Martha. Martha is one of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet and she will treat you like family. She has a 100% success rate with all the friends I have sent her. When it comes to hair, thats pretty impressive.
