I called to inquire about their internet services and the person who was supposedly in charge of giving such information was extremely rude. This person literally did hang the phone on me when I asked him for the details of the internet. It is the worst service by phone that I have ever received. If you have people like that represent your company, Im going to say that your company literally is a failure-put simply. That is not professional. That is not excellent service. I absolutely agree, they should check what kind of people they are hiring. If I had perhaps thought about signing a contract with them, now Im completely sure that I will never pay one cent to this company. I would not even give it a star, to be honest-only because these reviews force you to. Do not sign any contract with this company. You are going to be stuck dealing with rude people, I warn you. Dish= Company Failure.

Just signed up with dish because of a pretty good promotion that offered either a free year of Netflix or a free year of their«Redzone multisport package» which their agent told me included the Red zone channel as well as all NFL games. I chose the latter. After install(5 hour window BTW) I found out they don’t have all NFL games, just whatever is available over local network TV. When I provided them with a transcript of my original conversation where their agent lied to me they offered me 1 free pay per view. I declined and asked for the free Netflix instead and they told me it was too late for that. Bottom line… I’m screwed and Dish lies.

Warning! On a recommendation from a friend who is a techie, I signed up for an account with Dish. Really bad move. I thought I was going to save money. Not true. Since they don’t bundle in my area, I ended up with 2 bills spending over $ 100.00 more after the introductory price. The service was not good. It had to keep rebooting during a movie or show. It froze on 2 occasions, if all the tvs in the house were on, the shows would stop in the middle. After 9 months of service I went back to Cox. Better reception, better service. Lover overall price for my bundle. Dish ended up charging me $ 300.00 to break my contract. Charging me even for the shipping boxes

Have had the system for one year, and loved it until I got a major price increase. I included HBO, and dropped the ten dollar«equipment insurance plan… then, one year into the two year contract, my cost literally doubled… from thirty and month to sixty bucks a month. The contract is worded so that Dish can do anything they want to charges… I guess if they wanted to make the month cost a million bucks, they could do it legally… but this is my attempt to inform the consumer that dish quoted costs are far below the charge they actually bill you. The system is great, but the ethics of this company are horrible.

We have had Dish for over 15 yrs until we moved to San Marcos area. Technicians were rude, didnt show up at all and lied on their reports back to the main company. For safety reasons, i would not choose this company. They obviously do not appropriately scan their contracted employees.

I signed up with DISH almost two years ago. I live in an apartment complex right now and we have new owners. The new owners are not allowing any tenants to have satellite dishes on the property. Therefore, I have to cancel my service. This is totally out of my control and I assumed DISH would understand and cancel it without any penaltiies but that is not the case. They are going to charge me a $ 60 disconnect fee because I am cancelling two months early. They do not care if it is something I have to do — either that or move — they insist I have to pay it. I would not recommend anyone signing up with this company. They are only out for money. Carole Casper
