Jesper and DNA Design Group took the 1,600 square foot condo I bought in Icon in downtown San Diego from an extremely trashed, outdated place to a beautiful, contemporary work of art. Jesper spent many hours with me, helping to select flooring, countertops, paint, furniture, etc. He really goes out of his way to ensure his clients are very satisfied. In the end, the discounts I received from his relationships basically covered the cost of his services. So, Jesper not only has great style, but also provides great value. I highly recommend Jesper and DNA Design Group for any remodel/​design work (unless you don’t like contemporary style).

Sleek, stylish and modern are not adjectives usually associated with anything «green,» but leave it to the Europeans to change all that. Little Italy’s DNA Modern Design Studio features eco-​friendly furnishings by Fritz Hansen, Bonaldo, and Moroso among others, as well as a full line of kitchens by Italian manufacturer Valcucine.
While claims of green abound, Valcucine walks the talk. Utilizing up to 30% fewer materials, water-​based paints, and formaldehyde-​free adhesives in the construction of their component-​based kitchen systems, Valcucine marries environmental awareness with über-​modern design.
