Look no farther if you want professional, reliable, on-​time movers. I recently moved to Palm Springs from my long-​time home in San Diego. Trusting a mover with my worldly belongings was not an easy thing for me to do, so I did my research. Globe Moving Group came out on top in every respect. From beginning to end, I was so impressed with Misha and his crew! They treated my antiques with such care… as if they were moving their own furniture. Everything arrived in perfect condition. They were prompt, clean, and meticulous about the way they handled every piece. Way beyond my expectations. Their prices were more than competitive, but more important to me was the expert service they provided. This is the first time I’ve ever posted an online review, but these guys were so professional and customer-​service oriented that I felt compelled to write about their excellence. Mischa and his team moved us from North Park to Chula Vista last year and we were extremely happy. They were on time and on budget — no hidden costs. They are also very helpful, finding a creative way to hoist our huge armoire up and over our upstairs balcony as it never would have fit up our narrow stairway. I recommended him to a friend who used his company for a small corporate move and she was equally happy. We would definitely use Globe again.

Moving is stressful. You have to take time out of your life to pick up everything in your life and transport it somewhere else. The thought of doing that alone is stressful, but having someone else do it can be even more so… unless you use these guys!

I never write Unilocal reviews, but I had the best experience with Michael and Tomas that I just felt compelled to write a glowing review. First, Michael was quick and prompt in his communication about the move. He answered all questions and in record time. Then, when they showed up the day of the move, they were kind, courteous, friendly, and FAST! I have never had movers work as hard and as quickly as they did. Their rates are beyond reasonable, especially for the quality of the work they do. Moving is such a pain, but using Globe Moving Group made the process painless and put me at ease.

Business and personal move. Top notch experience, top to bottom. I just moved from Connecticut to San Diego in huge overweight containers that were dropped off in San Marcos. I found Globe Moving Group on Craigslist and spoke with Michael. From the first conversation he was professional and direct, giving me a reasonable rate with complete and accurate information. I had a total of close to 20,000 pounds, ten percent personal items though that included some irreplaceable paintings and furniture.
I had hired two men and a truck on the outbound side, and they were like Laurel and Hardy for about the same rate. I was gun shy by the time I met Michael and was watching over his shoulder at every move. Within an hour I realized I had hired real professionals, and by the time the first day ended I had left them alone with some of my most precious items to finish up while I got other things done. They had with them and used as needed and without my involvement all the tools of the trade from shrink wrap to furniture pads, dollies to hand trucks and straps. Not a single piece was harmed and they were very careful about walls and door frames etc., something I have never before seen with the ‘professional’ movers I have used in the past. Also Michael was punctual and communicative in advance and during the move, and had professional paperwork which he mandated be signed for each portion of the move.
My move was non-​standard due to extreme weight of both individual items and the entire load, but also because I needed to figure out where things were going «on the fly», so I needed Michael and crew to listen and work in my time and my way. They did a truly spectacular job — they were very fast and consistent during times when they could just be let go, and yet slowed to help me make my decisions without pressure at times that I needed to review and think through where things were going.
I’ve been in my own business for more than three decades and have hired hundreds of sub contractors for varying services. It is rare that I can give such an honest glowing accolade, but in this case I recommend Michael and company without reservation. If you have a large move and need a personal reference, you are welcome to call him and ask for my number, I hereby give him permission to give it out when he feels it appropriate, and you can call for a direct reference.
I cannot imagine you finding a better person or company to do this type work and though I hope not to have to move in again in the foreseeable future, I will turn to no-​one else when I do!

My wife and I were moving to Los Angeles and hired Globe Moving Group to move our 3 bedroom house. Let me tell you, Misha and his guys were punctual, fast, caring and straight forward. That was by far the easiest move I’ve ever went through. No damage to the furniture and the whole experience was very easy and stress free. A+ would recommend to anyone considering a moving company. My experience was great.

I needed last minute help to help my dad move into a retirement community, and was referred to Globe Moving by another well-​reviewed mover here on Unilocal.I called Michael and he happened to have availability — he thoroughly explained his (very reasonable) costs and gave me a start time. Michael and Tomas showed up exactly when they said they would, worked hard and fast, and most importantly were really kind to my elderly father. The elevator at the community ended up breaking right after we got there, so the poor guys had to use the stairs, but didn’t complain, and I couldn’t believe how quickly they worked in spite of this. I will definitely call them again, and highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Michael and Tomas for making this moving experience a hassle-​free, stress-​free, pleasant experience!

Highly recommend. For the money or anprice you think you have to pay for moving company, hands down the best movers I have ever used. From the initial phone call to the hand shake goodbye this group of three which included the owner Michael, Thomas and Victor, this was one of the best experiences we have ever had (Yes even me wife felt the same)…and I mean ever, not just for a moving company but ANYTHING!!!
