Yummy! Delicious coffee and incredibly friendly people. Mint latte feels like the season. Super doggy friendly too! Great stop on our morning walk.

I always love stoping here for coffee or tea while out on bike rides. Really nice atmosphere and great drinks. I sometimes wish there were more food choices, however. But I love coming here.

Great place to go for coffee! Charming atmosphere, homemade baked goods, and lovely staff. Be sure to check out the back patio — feels like you’re on vacation.

I love how tucked away this coffee shop is, it means I don’t have to fight for a seat since I’m usually looking to stay a while. The outside patio/deck is amazing if you want an outdoor feel while you’re studying. The iced coffee is brewed excellently here and the homemade cookies are phenomenal. It can be a bit of a drive, if you’re not familiar with historic mission hills, but it’s well worth it.

Kim was a super welcoming to my family and I when we moved to Mission Hills last year. In fact, having a coffee shop so close was a tipping point in picking this neighborhood. I love the atmosphere and the coffee! Its a great place to relax and feel like part of a community.
I’m pretty picky about my cafes and this place is AMAZING. My favorite part is the location and atmosphere. It’s on a beautiful little street in a great neighborhood – lots of interesting homes and nice landscaping. The atmosphere inside is perfect. It is comfortable, breezy, and they have an awesome little patio out back that looks over a small canyon full of Eucalyptus trees. Long story short: great vibes, staff is very friendly and pleasant, coffee is good, pastries are good, it’s a bit expensive but totally worth it. PS: has wifi, comfortable to sit there for hours, great place to work, chat, read, etc.

Came in here to grab a quick bite and cold drink for lunch and left very satisfied. While they do not have an extensive food menu, they made me a delicious sandwich and iced tea. Everything was clean and there is excellent parking out front. The girl working provided fast and efficient service despite being the only one working and having several other customers come in at the same time. Also, she is a total hottie! Definitely will be coming back in the future.

They’ve finally updated their hours on Unilocal but I arrived today at 2:30 and they refused to sell a panini, saying they were closing early at 2:45. Barista on duty claimed it was the decision of the absentee owner. It’s obvious this business is just a hobby for someone with too much free time and money. Go elsewhere if you want good customer service.

I ordered a small Mocha Frappucino and a bagel… after 15 minutes standing at the counter, I received my «frappucino» — a lukewarm drink that tasted ok, but had NO hint of coldness or ice. Weird, but I let it go, as the lone employee had 5 more people waiting behind me, and I was really hungry and thirsty(for a COLD drink), and knew that if I asked her to remake the drink that it would take at least another 15 minutes. I then waited another 15 minutes anyway for my bagel while the overwhelmed counter employee very slowly attempted to wait on her customers. I saw 2 of the customers leave, as the line was not moving at all at the counter. I realized that I may never see that bagel, and so I too walked out, thus spending $ 9 for a warm frappucino and no bagel. The employee NEVER spoke to me or made eye contact to indicate that she remembered me or my pending order… I lost all hope. I give this place one star only because the place is cute, and has potential, but I think the owner should re-name this place«the Black Hole».

The people working there are alright, but the owner Kim leaves a lot to be desired personality wise. Kim girl, you got a special place in espresso hell. This place is a shambles! Clean that deck… And those bathrooms… YIKES! I might have to pass on this one.

There’s nothing about this place that would make me want to come back. I think the woman working was having a very bad day. I was excited to see they had Gluten free Pumpkin bread/cake. Unfortunately it seemed very stale. I normally would have asked for a trade or my money back, but she seemed so unhappy I didn’t even want to attempt it. It was nice to have a cold tea on a hot day. It simply was not what was expected at all. I would have made it nicer in my own home than what I was given here. Also it says they are open until 5, but she stated they were closing in 30Min at about 2:30. It is St. Pattys day maybe that’s why. Personally I wouldn’t come back. I hope her day gets better!

So many new coffee shops popping up in the area but I’m pretty stuck on this one. It doesn’t get too crowded and it’s quiet in the afternoons so its perfect for getting some work done. i love the blueberry almond tart(it’s gluten free) and the gal always makes my latte with a heart on top, I almost don’t want to drink it. I’m trying to figure out how to do it on my machine at home but can’t seem to master it. She makes it sound/look easy. Minus a star for the odd hours. They close early and I usually have to pack up and find another coffee shop to go to. :(

Recently discovered this place. Totally hidden in the Mission Hills neighborhood. What a cute gem! Owner and one of the girls that works there were both super friendly. They serve Moto coffee and have a delicious selection of baked goods. There’s plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating(in front and on the patio out back). It’s got a cozy vibe. Love the location. Great neighborhood coffee shop to relax, meet a friend, do some work or hang with your 4 legged friend. So excited to have found this place!!!

It’s always sad when a small business suffers due to their insufferable employees who don’t care about the success of the place. Unfortunately, this is the only café within walking distance from my home so I continue to frequent here. There is always a sense of dread. The two girls who work here are always either sitting at a customer table or a chair behind the counter. Never once(I’m here 3+ times a week) do they say hello. Any attempt at small talk is met with blank stares. No «you’re welcome» to my thank you. Oddly half of the time they don’t ring my cash order on the register. When other customers ask for basic items such as milk that is not on the cart for coffee, they are handed a gallon of milk to pour themselves. No cheer what so ever. Never any smiles. If you order something that they’re out of, they just shrug and say«we’re out.» It’s really the grimmest coffee shop possible. I refuse to sit inside because both girls have the worst energy… It’s really too bad, because there are no other options. I hope the owner cleans house and hires people who actually care about their jobs.

Not a bad place. I just don’t like the owner, she acts really fake. She also has a bad habit of overcharging and/or giving incorrect change which also happens to short my end. She also gets the order wrong at times. Aside from that, coffee & food are not bad which is why i warranted it a 3rd star.

This is a cute little café in Mission Hills, right along Fort Stockton. I was on a bike ride with a friend through the area and popped in here for a little break– there is a bike path that goes right along the road here. The atmosphere is light and casual– there is balcony seating in the back of the café that overloks a canyon, and a very small front ledge area where you can also enjoy sitting outside and see other cyclists go by. Service was friendly, and parking is easy if you come by car. The staff didn’t seem to know much about their teas, and the chai was made from a pre-sweetened powder mix, but the overall feel of the place is sunny and pleasant. We weren’t hungry this time around, but the baked goods here looked very good– will have to try those the next time around!

I enjoyed my visit to this small coffee shop because I not only enjoyed their drip coffee, but the owner makes some great chocolate chip cookies( ). The coffee, not sure what brand it was, I think Calabria, but it had a nice mild flavor with a good kick. Just what I needed too. The chocolate chip cookies were great. They came in a pack of two, and devoured them like a silly kid. The had that great chewy and crunchy texture that makes you feel just giddy. Both were filled with sweet chocolate chips and had a great soft center( ). The place has some nice seating out in front, a very nice back patio, and some comfortable seating inside. Most importantly, they offer a good solid wi-fi signal. The young lady working at the time I visited, was hip and well informed regarding the business operations.

This is a cool little spot in mission hills. I had a blended chai and my friend had a macchiato. Not only were both drinks great tasting, but the customer service was outstanding! The barista was so knowledgable and fun, she took her time making our drinks explaining the whole process. Great spot to come and bring your laptop to get some work/school stuff done too.
