New location but still the same great service. I’ve been to many different types of optometrists. This guy is the best. I never feel like he’s trying to do anything sketchy like up selling. He is spot on with his prescriptions. There’s a reason why I stick with this guy even though I moved away 3 years ago and live over 500 miles away now and only go to San Diego once a year. He hasn’t let me down yet. He’s a good dude despite being a buckeye.

I had an eye exam with Dr. Van Kirk today and I am so happy with the results! He took time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and then find the right treatment for me. When I told him this exam was vastly different from my last eye exam (somewhere else, through my insurance, where the doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me) Dr. Van Kirk said that is exactly the reason that he started his own Optometry business. He wants to be able to spend quality time with his patients and make sure they are happy with the results.
Very fairly priced with quality care. Now I have the peace of mind in knowing that my prescription is right for me.
