This place is a clear example of good intention, bad judgement. The concept is cool that there is a fault line running in the middle of it only 14 ft below. Now if there weren’t homeless people leaving their trash around and disturbing others, parents that weren’t watching their kids, or pet owners that didn’t pick up after their pets, this place would be really nice. The silver orbs are cool looking and do well for a pic or two, but there’s always people stuffing rocks into the looking sphere. The parking is a pain and you’re bound to encounter a homeless person that will yell something at you. Not to mention the copious amount of trash that floats around. Maybe if this place was in a different location and there was more security, I would be more inclined to go, but I say go see it once and only in the day time.

We went there yesterday with our 3 ½ year old. Looked for parking for at least 15 min. Homeless people have taken over that part of city and is shocking to see the number of people and how much«stuff» they have accumulated and have scattered all over the sidewalks and streets nearby. Many were obviously with psychological problems talking or screaming to themselves. One guy with a large pit bull was screaming obscenities and physically threatening her for at least 30 min. She called the police which were slow to respond. What else? Dog crap on the sidewalks and on the grass and rocky areas. The playground equipment all looked new but was poorly designed. My son and the other two kids with him were just jumping off the rocks and concrete dividers, nobody seemed to actually be using any of the equipment. Bathrooms were out of service of course but luckily the bartender in the restaurant nearby let us use theirs. All in all this was a bad experience and we won’t be coming back to this place.

This park is very pretty and I was so excited to have a new park in my neighborhood, but this park is so poorly designed it’s just stupid! First off, it is already taken over by homeless people, that was a given, but come on, it just sucks that my 15 month old can’t comfortably play in the little kid area because people are sleeping all over the place or creepily staring at my baby, so yeah, no thanks. There are spiky cacti by the edge of one part of the lawn, huh??? Who decided to put that there??? First day it opened, I saw a kid get injured already. There are small rocks everywhere for kids to throw at each other. The second day I tried to go there, my baby got hit by a rock, got hurt and started screaming. This bratty kids mother wasn’t paying any attention to him so he was just throwing rocks at people. You can’t avoid rocks, I mean rocks are everywhere, but every single time I have been to this park, groups of unattended children are throwing rocks and behaving obnoxiously with no parental supervision. There are no basket swings for the younger kids!!! Nuff said! The beautiful big silver ball sculpture can never be enjoyed properly because there are always rocks thrown into the viewing hole, it is soooooooooo annoying!!! Why some people always have to ruin a nice thing is beyond me. There are some metal shiny sculpture things around the park that look like they can get so hot in the sun and burn the kids, it’s just weird. I have tried to go to hang out at this park a few times and every time it just sucks, so we are kinda bummed and won’t be returning here for a long long time.
