From all the places I’ve had tostilocos this place are the best. They give them to you in a stereo foam container with LOTS of ingredients. The Bionicos are also great. Good variety of fruits used. I highly recommend it to everyone. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Fruit Palace has great, fresh food for an affordable price. My go-to is the tuna sandwich and a multi-green juice. I appreciate a restaurant that offers healthy options. Also, it’s family owned a operated and has good hours. Highly recommend FP to anyone who is down in IB.

Fresh chicken chipotle sandwich wasn’t too spicy and a mixed fruit smoothie was delicious! Great spot but lose a star for charging me a fee for using my credit card.

Had a craving for fruit salad yesterday and found this place close to my home. Once I walked in I liked the place. The décor was nice and pleasant and the ladies greeted me upon entry. I ordered a fruit salad and it was really good. Definitely going back for more! :)

Went here for the first time the other day and got a chamango. The place was empty, but I could see that the dining area was large with plenty of tables, as well as a stack of magazines for guests to skim through. This place is also very clean, which is great. They offer all the usual stuff a Mexican fruit/smoothie shop would have — including fresas con crema, tostilocos, etc. It’s nice that this place wasn’t busy — I usually go to Teresita’s on Palm and that place gets crowded quick. The only downside about this place is that they only offer one size for their chamangos(16 oz.), whereas Teresita’s on Palm offers small, medium, or large.

I was a regular customer because of there strawberry Raspados. Then suddenly the Raspados started getting a little watery, I just assumed it was made wrong. But then after returning a few times I realized the Raspados were now made this way. I can’t speak on anything else. But the girls behind the counter were always very nice.

This place is good up until the last bite. I have been coming here for over 10 years and everytime it tastes as good as the first time. Torta de lomo with chipotle is on point not too mention Tostilocos… Everything is good from tortas to tostilocos to sandwiches and smoothies definitely recommend and I am a picky eater that’s y I only give good reviews to what deserves it!

This is the first place that I ate at when I touched down in SD. This is also the first place that I ate a torta and it was so good! Food: I ordered the number four combo with chicken meat and ate that up so fast. Next time I’ll order a full sandwich instead of just the half that came with the meal. The combo included half a torta, fruit salad, and a regular sized drink. I spend roughly 8 dollars. Décor: The furniture looks like nice outdoor furniture. It’s comfortable enough. The restaurant overall is pretty small, as well as the tables(the tables will seat two/three people comfortably, tiny little things), so you might not want to bring a large group here if they’re busy. Overall it’s clean and practical enough. Service: The workers all wear uniforms, very clean looking. No negative comments about the service at all. They bring you your food on lunch trays – to the table… so you order, sit down, and they serve you. Clean up after yourself.

My review may not be the most accurate because I come here solely for their fruit salad and I have tried nothing else. But based on the fruit salad alone I give it 4 stars. This is my favorite spot to get fruit salad, in which the fruits are always fresh and cold. The price isn’t too bad when you order the large fruit salad and often times the wait isn’t too bad either.

I have been coming here for years and they have maintained their quality in both snacks and juices(I just wish they used organic vegetables for their juices, eww pesticides) and their prices have gone up quite a bit. I believe there is a .50 $ fee for using a debit card without a minimum purchase. I haven’t tried any of the food though. There is nothing inherently special in regards to décor or their service. Just working folks that say their please and thank yous. I usually have a veggie juice, chamango or churrolocos(Tostilocos aren’t vegan, sad news bears).

This place is just ok. The only reason why I keep coming back is because it’s the only vegetarian option place is Nestor and its right down the street from me. But every time I come here the service is terrible. I think this place is a front for something else because they really do not appreciate your business here you’re just a bother to them. The decorations are hideous. Like an old lady from the early 90s threw up in there. They’re always blasting novelas or some annoying show on televisa or some shit. Oh yeah, the food. What can I say? They have all the Mexican junk food staples when it comes to inundating fruit with chamoy. It’s just mediocre. Pretty pricey too. $ 5 — $ 7 for a fruit salad. The tortas are pretty good. But again, unless u live in Nestor and don’t have any other choices, don’t bother.

Chamango is a big hit here as well as their fruit salad. Chamango is a mango blended smoothie with chunks of mango, chamoy, and topped off with tamarind like bits. It has that sweet and sour salty flavor to it. It is great on your palette. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Try it & enjoy!

THEFRUITSALADISHIGHLYRECOMMENDED!!! It is so delicious just thinking about it makes my mouth water!!! Fresh fruit is cut and placed in a plastic container. Fruit salad it topped with cottage cheese, coconut, raisins and sunflower seeds. To top it off, a portion of HONEY is included with the salad. Drizzle honey on top of everything and it’s ready to eat! The combination is so unique and makes it SOOOOOODELICIOUS!!!

If you ever come to eat here the first thing you should try is their chipotle torta. It’s the best torta you will ever eat in San diego. And you get your moneys worth. It’s really big!!! And delicious. You should try it at least once. And they also have really good smoothies.
