I agree with many of the Unilocalers on here. The customer service is not so great. I had a hard time knowing what to order since it was my first time and he kinda just stood and rushed me(didn’t recommend anything or asked if I had any questions with the menu, which was very hard to read). Ok… I just ordered a jalapeño and cheese bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Not the best, but it was good, and I’ll be back just for this if I’m ever in the area.

This place sucks. I got a great idea. let’s put everything in front of the menu that way it’s super difficult for customers to read it. Also when a customer is ordering let’s bark«type of bagel first» and have them repeat their order. Overpriced bagel for the quality and definitely overrated for the customer service you receive.

Freshest bagels in town and good strong coffee. This place is cozy. The owner is so friendly and the staff is too!

I prefer the PQ location by my house, but I work around the corner from this location and come in often. They take my phone orders because I’m always in a rush to get back to the office and my food is always ready fast. That’s why this is my go to breakfast place, and sometimes lunch place when I’m trying to get something light and quick. The acai bowls here have raisins, and they told me they can’t make them without raisins. Which sucks cause I LOVE the acai bowls in PQ. The raisins are like frozen and hard to eat. But my favorite item at this location is the San Diego bagel and I regularly order the acai smoothie. Then all of their bagels are pretty awesome. Good and fresh for sure. The manager is cool, but kind of blunt? Some might ca him rude but I like him and the service is always great. 3.5 stars but I’ll round up

Came in to get an Acai Bowl. But, one of them, who seemed like he was the owner, stated that they ran out of ingredients and can only make a smoothie. His excuse was, they sold out of Acai bowls over the weekend. That just means, he can’t manage his own food supply. No wonder, your shop is always empty! Terrible.

Delicious delicious delicious. We just moved nearby and were in need of morning sustenance. The order took a little bit of time because there was just one man working, but he was friendly and even gave my husband a complimentary coffee for his trouble. I have been looking for a good bagel sandwich place, and I think this will hit the spot perfectly.

I dont recommend this place. Bagel tasted whaack. I also felt very awkward at this place, the couches were dirty. The man looked uninterested in selling me anything. Maybe he was having a bad day? Not sure. but it was 6am when I came in.

The garlic chive cream cheese has tons of bits of the Jared processed garlic in it. Nearly no chive flavor at all and was served like it was a sandwich with the spread dabbed here and thete. only good note is the staff is friendly.

If they had the option to not give any stars that’d be my actual rating. I like golden bagel in penasquitos WAAAY better than this place. Food is okay here but this place rubbed me the wrong way. Usually when a customer has a request its necessary to prepare the food appropriately. This guy made rude remarks throughout the whole order. I had the smoked salmon bfst sandwhich. And since im lactose i asked to sub my cream cheese with hummus, and i guess he was on his period he said it would ruin the flavor. And since i wasnt trying to intake that much carb i didnt think they did lettuce wrapped sandwiches since its a bagel shop so i asked to hollow out the bread. And he just cut out a slice of it. HEDIDNTEVENMAKEMYSANDWICH! His worker did. He was just lazy and i regret not walking out. But ill never step foot in that place again.

delicious bagels toasted and covered with a generous amount of cream cheese. Prepared for you and served to you. I ordered a sun dried tomato bagel with cream cheese and an acai bowl both of which were absolutely delicious. All the workers were really nice. The cashier tried to advise me to not get the acai bowl because of the amount of sugar. Very considerate(I got it anyways: p)

I had a jalapeño and cheese bagel with cream cheese and bacon before work around 8am. The bagel and cream cheese were absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of spice. The amount of cheese was pretty on point. The bacon isn’t worth it. I didn’t even notice it. It was a small piece. The service was quick and efficient. Nothing to complain about. Definitely coming back for my bagel fix on the way to work. This time without the bacon.

Food and service and both surprisingly great! I am really happy I stumbled across this gem. I love the Spinach Scramble with Turkey on Everything Bagel :-) Acai Smoothie is also very tasty. I used to buy my bagel sandwiches from a nearby donut shop, but this place is SOMUCH better. They bake their own bagels fresh here daily and they are delicious! Staff is very courteous.

Worst service. I’ve never had someone make me feel so bad for ordering anything. «Pop» I guess his name is, made me miserable coming in. This was my second awful experience with him. First day, I let go because I thought he was having a bad day, not only did it happen a second time, but even worse than my first visit! He guilt tripped me for ordering coffee and told me that I would be a huge inconvenience to everyone because instead of taking care of other customers, he’d have to make my coffee. I specifically went for coffee so I told him I’d wait. We had bagels ordered to eat in but then he tells me 20 min later after making my coffee, he tells me that I should have ordered to eat in(even though I did, he just misheard me) and then lectures me about how much money their company would save if they didn’t have to wrap everything up to go. Ok Pop, first of all. I did say«for here.» You’re just old and didn’t hear well. Second of all, how are you going to try to make me feel bad for having to «wrap up» my food when I had to wait for my coffee anyway? And third of all, if your company goes down, it will be because of your terrible attitude, not because of lack of tin foil. However, if you do go, travel to a different location. The coffee was great and I loved my banana walnut bagel. But as good as the food was, not even the food can convince me to give this place 2 stars.

Gave them 2 stars because although my California Bagel was the bomb, not happy with my chocolate chip bagel which didnt have any chocolate chips in it. I was looking to satisfy my sweet tooth, never again. Might as well stick to Vons chocolate chip bagels abundant with chocolate chips and low priced for 1.

Location: Busy shopping center in Sorrento across LA Fit Service: Pop was polite and extremely nice Selection: Many things to choose from. Not only bagels but bagel sandswiches, soups, wraps Line: I usually come in around 6 – 7 so the line isn’t that long and getting your food is fast Lox Delight: Savory salmon on cream cheese with capers and onions on top. Must try! I’m a seafood lover and this is ultimately delish. Salmon is soft and they give a big chunk Spinach Sandwich w/Turkey: Just as expected, a good way to start a morning is how you feel after you eat it. You can choose to add on other things All in all I recommend Golden Bagel if you’re hungry for breakfast and don’t want drive thru McDonalds. If you want something more gourmet but inexpensive

the Jalapeño bagel with cheese is Perfect! not a stingy amount of cheese, a generous amount, Jalapenos are big and spicy! I got the Golden scramble with sausage and added tomato. great combo! but i do wish it had spinach. bagel is soft and chewy, not hard and stale. great breakfast/brunch item. not too heavy. Sitting here now writing a review for their açai bowl :) for those who aren’t familiar with this superfruit, it is a Brazilian berry that contains antioxidants, which neutralizes free radicals = good for your skin and hair AKA it’s good for you!(I used to work for Jamba Juice, hahah) Anyway, I love coming here on a hot day or after the gym every now and then for the açai bowl. Such a refreshing treat and I get my daily dose of fruits and carbs. For $ 6.95, the portion is pretty big — I can only eat half at a time. The presentation is nice too, all of the bananas and strawberries are cut and laid out nicely. Good amount of granola too. It’s in a good to-go container so you could enjoy it here(plenty of seats) or out. Service is always fast and they’re all really friendly. My place to go for my açai bowl fix! And if you haven’t tried it, you must ;)

Was looking for a nice, quick place to get some breakfast early in the morning and saw that this place was open. I’m very glad I came in. I had their everything bagel with just egg and cheese and it was very good. You can add sausage, turkey, bacon or ham if you want a little more. They also offer a variety of other specialty bagel sandwiches as well as croissants. The staff was very friendly and polite and the place was very clean as well. They are open Monday through Friday at 6am(they open 7am Saturday and 7:30am Sunday) and highly recommend them if you are looking for an awesome, quick breakfast before your work day.

I am always a big fan of Lox ad Bagels with a little of that creamy goodness with some fresh onions and capers, so that being said, I stopped in to try some here. The lox looked pretty good with a slight discoloring of the smoked salmon, but the rest looked great( ). When you order this, you also receive get a side of chips and a drink when you make it a combo. I had the lox over a whole wheat bagel. Overall, everything tasted good and the smoked salmon provided a good amount of saltiness and a mild smokey flavor. I would of appreciated a more intense smokey flavor( ). The capers were good and some were the fresh cut red onions and lettuce. I really liked the toasted warm wheat bagel underneath. It was moist and combined with the cream cheese, it was delish( ). The place has plenty of room with sitting inside and out. Some of the items inside needed some cleaning, specifically the coffee containers that had quite the coffee splashing around. The people who work here are nice…3.5 stars.
