Highland Ranch Park

Sweet park. My kid loves it. Shaded seating and amazing spider web rope play thing that my daughter goes crazy for! It is kinda of small though.

This playground is super cool. Tall slides, swings, rock wall, zip line thingy and a huge 3D web to climb!

No dogs 9AM-​6PM? Really? What the hell kind of park is this?
The real kicker? This sign is posted directly above a doggie bag station. Nice touch there.

This park has the tallest slides you will find at a public park in San Diego.
My kids had a blast going down one of the three giant slides. My little dude enjoyed the smaller park in the back which had some shorter slides more to his liking. I’m surprised this park doesn’t have a higher rating.

I really like this playground and park area however, as a slide connoisseur I must say that the large blue middle slide will hurt your bottom a small bit if you ride on it too fast. The hexagonal thing is quite fun however if you are one of those protective parents then you might think that it is too high up. Also there is a school nearby and they will yell at you if you get too near the fence during school hours. I really like how they have two separate areas (one for older and one for younger kids) and the little kids play ground is very fun. The park area has a lot of dogs on somedays and is sometimes used for baseball or softball or soccer or football teams on Saturdays. Other than that, it’s a great park :)

nice park with multiple kids areas with swings for babies and everyone else, big and small slides, a gazebo area with concrete tables and benches, and a big grass field. The only thing this place doesn’t have is a rec center, it is a true community outdoor park, but it’s great. The parking lot is not huge so you really can’t have too many people there, but there is street parking.
