Been to a lot of gyms around San Diego (Both combats and fitness focused gyms). Hands down this gym is really one if the best gyms out there. Authentic, old school, and straight to the roots of boxing! Anyone looking for a good boxing gym to get in shape and learn the science of boxing, House of Boxing is the place! Highly recommended!

I had a great time at the house of boxing! Justin and David are two amazing trainers along with the other welcoming staff! They had everything you need for the perfect workout and I hope to return again soon!
I reeeeally recommend trying this place out, they will get you in shape, teach your proper technique and you’ll have fun Everytime!

My boys 7 & 10 love coming here! The house of boxing fam is very welcoming to all ages and professional. They give you a real workout… even the littlest ones get a good work out (no group is left behind). My only draw back is there is no AC; but I don’t know if that is a necessity for a boxing training center. Other than that we love this place!

Honestly, this place is great!
When I first walked into the HOB I was a bit apprehensive. I’ve never trained and didn’t know anything about boxing, so it was intimidating. As soon as walked in David, one of the co-​owners, welcomed me and was more than willing to explain everything. He answered all my newbie questions and encouraged me to try it out.
I came back and gave the adult boxing class a go. Everyone in the training class introduced themselves, and took time to teach and reexplain the basics. The class was fast pace and intense. One of the best work outs I have ever got. I was immediately hooked. Bought some gloves and signed up for the monthly membership.
Besides the amazing trainers and members, this place is in a great location. I heard someone referring to it as more of a community center and I think that definitely works for it.
I’ve seen some really young kids training at HOB and these kids are intense. They have a wide variety of classes ranging from youth boxing, teen boxing, adult boxing, women’s fitness, jiu-​jitsu, and combat conditioning (which is an insane workout, I highly recommend giving this a go).
Other than that, the vibe inside is cool. A variety of boxing memorabilia are mounted on the walls, and punching bags surrounding the ring.
