I take my God Father duties seriously. Every so often, I’ll drive my God Daughter to school in the morning. It’s a good chance for me to see how she is doing in school and in general, not to mention I can spend a little bit of quality time with her. After all, she is a pretty cool kid(I’d adopt her if I could)! I usually take her to breakfast when I do drive her to school. This specific morning she asked if we could eat pancakes. Pancakes are one of her favorite breakfast foods, so that’s how we ended up at International House of Pancakes(IHOP). We entered and we were greeted by a waitress who was taking an order. She told us she’d be with us momentarily(nice to be acknowledged). We were seated moments later and we quickly perused the menu. We ended up ordering: Raspberry White Chocolate pancakes and Banana Macadamian Nut pancakes. Food came in a timely manner and I also requested the check early in order to get her to school on time. The Raspberry White Chocolate pancakes were too sweet in my opinion and even more so when you add syrup. Of course, my God Daughter loved them and rated them 3.5 /5. My pancakes were okay, but they overloaded them with macadamian nuts. I ended up not finishing them because they became unappetizing. I’d rate them 2⁄5. Service was okay. Our waitress checked on us a couple of times during our quick breakfast, but she seemed rushed. I’d return again, but I doubt I’d order those pancakes again unless I customize them(easy on the Macadamian nuts). 2⁄5 — Food 3⁄5 — Service 3⁄5 — Atmosphere Overall, a score of 3⁄5. Food heavily factors into this score.

When I first visited IHOP, I was very surprised that many people enjoyed brunch. Last month, one of my Saudi Arabian friend took me to this restaurant. I ordered omelette and pancake. When I tasted the food, the taste as well as the color was fantastic. I thought omelette with lots of vegetables was good for health and pancake was also soft and not too sweet. So I enjoyed the food. I thought I would visit again some time. I recommended this restaurant to other friend. So we visited IHOP last weekend in Seattle. We went to a trip to Seattle. In the morning we saw many people enjoyed breakfast. I was happy to see my son and my friend liked the food there. I want to try another food next time.

Was not satisfied with the customer service at this place. Our waiter Carol after serving us our food wasn’t very helpful. She gave us our check less then 5 mins after serving our food, not once did she ask us how our food was. And not only that she didn’t bother to ask if we wanted a refill on our waters after watching her serve water to her other tables. I had to ask her for a refill, I will not be coming back to this place. Your better off going to Denny’s at least they have better customer service!

I went to get some breakfast at IHOP because I had some errands to do in Clairemont. I wanted to get an omelette and coffee. The Server first sat me down in a booth in the center of the restaurant but when she came back I asked to get a window seat. She let me move to a table with a view of the main road. I ordered coffee and when it arrived it was bought with coffee creamers that were non dairy. When she came back to take my order I asked if they had Half & Half? She said they do. She was very accommodating and nice. The food was a large portion, delicious and I could only eat half of it. I ordered the create your own omelette. Pricy but it was exactly what I wanted. Going there was a treat. They did not have wifi but they did have AC. It was almost 90 degrees but the restaurant stayed cool inside. Very casual and quite place. Very old school and homey.

Terrible service, food was cold. Felt like we were being ignored. Had to ask our waiter multiple times just for a cup of water when others got theirs in a matter of seconds. Blegh –baaaticus out

1 person waiting on 9 tables, 1 cook. Bacon not cooked well at all, no taste to hash browns, blueberry pancakes were awesome. Server was good, but busy, had to wait for our check. Used to be a great place to eat, but for the money, $ 14.00 for a breakfast is outrageous. Won’t come Back!

My friend and I went here last Friday after getting a wonderful massage and the waitress was rude, not friendly and I was so confused as to why she would have a job in this industry if she isn’t even good at it. We weren’t done ordering and she started walking away while my friend was still telling her what she wanted. My potatoes and broccoli were cold so I added salt and when I grabbed the pepper, it spilled all over me and the booth I was sitting in. I told her about it and she told me it was okay as if it were my fault that it spilled. She checked on us once, I didn’t get a refill on my drink and her bad attitude resulted in her getting a zero tip. I wish I knew her name but because of that single employee, we won’t be returning. I’m only giving it a one star because I can’t rate any lower.

This is an ihop that my friends and I frequent, and the service has never been above average. I’d like to leave a review for one night I decided I must have breakfast for dinner. My server was Michelle, and she’s the best waitress I’ve ever had at any iHop I’v ever been to! The quality of food is what you’d expect from an iHop, but I’m giving this review 4 stars because the server made my meal of solitude comfortable and enjoyable.

Bad service, bad food and got frowned upon for having a baby. Server never came back. We had to get up and ask for our check. When we asked for a box it took about 3 tries before actually getting one.

Not sure what to think about this location we can because we were craving pancakes and it was relatively close to our hotel. We got our food within 8 minutes of ordering which is very impressive but at the same time it’s what it should be. One thing I noticed is that every time our server would walk away from the table he would go and sit down with the rest of the crew and supervisor on site. I bet that if the CEO of ihop would see this some employees would no longer have a job. The two stars are for the food that was descent, will not give this place another shot at my business

Good food. Nice waiter. Now. The chick at the register with purple hair, i believe her name was Carmen. SORUDE. No «hi how are you?» No smile. Grumpy, bitterass face the entire time. She barely spoke to us. She shouldn’t be working in a customer service environment, who hired her? Next time i’ll go to Coco’s down the street.

Bad food, bad service, bad atmosphere. So I came in today, Sunday, for some much needed breakfast. It was really busy but I didn’t mind that so much. We got seated after about 5 – 10 minutes, which wasn’t bad. But that’s when everything started to go bad. As we got seated a male busser came up to get us our drinks. My friend tried to order coffee but he couldn’t understand what she was saying and we couldn’t understand what he was saying because he barely spoke English. Alright I can deal with that, I didn’t mind. Then we waited for our waitress, and other people were getting seated around us and ordering their food but our waitress was no where to be found. Finally she comes and we place our order. The food took FOREVER. I just attributed it to it being busy, but then people that were seated after us and ordered after us got their food, and we were still waiting. Finally after two families, a couple, and a pair of friends(all who ordered after us) got their food ours finally came. The food was gross. I had two pieces of French toast, one was hot and the other was cold… ok. My pancakes weren’t cooked properly so they split in half. One of my pieces of bacon was actually uncooked. Yeah that’s right. I thought at first it was just a chewy not crunchy piece but no, it just wasn’t all the way cooked. And on top of that, through almost the whole meal I didn’t get a refill on my water. I left it at the side of the table but alas, no one came to fill it and my waitress, again, was no where to be found to ask her. Last but not least through the entire meal there were screaming and crying children, complaining rude people, and people that just sat at the booth hanging out while people were obviously waiting outside to get a table. OVERALL: If you want even somewhat okay service, don’t go here. If you want a quiet pleasant meal, don’t go here. If you want food that’s cooked, don’t go here. Go find a Denny’s or a small diner, it isn’t even worth the cheap prices.

AsWas sat with no greeting. I Was not asked if I wanted anything to drink for over 10 minutes. The waiter, when he arrived was friendly and courteous. the food took a long time to arrive, but was hot. The staff needs to think outside of their section, or set hired position. Walking by a customer, and seeing a needs they might have, should be taken care of even if it’s not their section.

Today was the first time I had visited an IHOP in about ten years. When it comes to chain breakfast spots, I always end up at Denny’s because I’m drunk and I always end up at CoCo’s because I can walk there from my house. I won a $ 25 gift card to IHOP so I met one of my girlfriends here for breakfast today. I was surprised when I walked in because it was busy. I was thinking, it’s Friday and it’s 10:00 am. Why aren’t people working?! I was seated right away and I decided today that I really like IHOP. I decided that I like it more than CoCo’s. The reason I like it more is because they offer crepês, they have 4 different flavors of syrup sitting on the table(original maple syrup, strawberry, blueberry, and butter pecan), and they offer chicken and waffles. I wanted to order one of everything, but I didn’t want to pay up so I went with the stuffed French toast. I was pleased and I was reminded that I love anything that is crème filled. I also added Nutella to my French toast! They don’t offer Nutella at CoCo’s! Even though I like the menu here more than I like the menu at CoCo’s, I do not like the service more. Our server, Carol, had a poor attitude. She was not welcoming when she approached us and it took her about 5 – 10 mins for her to even take our drink orders. She did not greet us, introduce herself, or apologize for arriving late. I tried making a joke, but she didn’t think it was funny so I already knew Carol was going to be a Debbie Downer for the rest of my time here. She was condescending when I asked her about the combo breakfast. She talked back to me as if I should have known the answers to my questions just because the combo breakfast options were listed on the menu. Sorry Carol for asking for clarification!!! You’re acting like I asked you to watch me take a poop in your IHOP bathroom!!! This really pissed me off because when you order a combo with French toast, you only get a half order of French toast. I ended up having to order another half order of stuffed French toast. I didn’t even order it from Carol because she never came back to our table after dropping off our food. She didn’t even come back to ask if things were tasting okay or if we needed anything else. I asked for blueberry and Carol came out with peach. She probably did it on purpose so fuck you Carol because I still ate it.

Went to breakfast and checked in. 10 minute wait, not bad for a Sunday morning. Ordered our food and it came out fast and was perfect! The waiter was fast and on top of his job. Checked up on us and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend.

#Disappointment The place looks in bad shape from the outside. But I chose not to judge the book by its cover — I really wanted some crepes. So I made the decision out of better judgement to try out this location. The layout of this restaurant is horrible. The hallway is enough for one person at a time. How is that even feasible for a restaurant that has servers and patrons walking back and forth? The restrooms doors are next to the kitchen door and booths. EW! The toilets were not flushing and one was over flowing. I’m sure its not a day to day issue. But for first impressions, gross! I’m glad I just needed to change my child’s diaper or else I would be S.O.L. The server(Arlene) was super nice. She gave good service. But that could not make up for the disaster of restaurant. Food — scrambled eggs were surprisingly really good. The bacon and hash browns, dried and overcooked. The crepes that I came for — decent, I enjoyed them :). The fruit was definitely not fresh. It had like a glossy, slimy coat. Would I return to this location? Unfortunately I would not. I might have to find another I HOP nearby or a restaurant that serves Crepes.

Generic IHOP! Our waiter was very nice and checked up on us several times during our meal. I tipped generously for his service. Other than that, it was a typical breakfast consisting of pancakes/waffles/french toast with bacon/eggs/sausage. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

Grrr debating so much between two and three stars. Ok the good, service(waiters) are always really good and attentive Now it’s IHOP, you go there cuz you know what they have and you know that it’s reasonable. When we went on a busy Sunday morning, Our very nice waiter states I’m sorry but no coffee today, coffee machine is broken. What breakfast place cannot find a way to get coffee? It’s pretty funny actually. Actually went to a Denny’s one time too where they had run out of eggs, but that’s a whole different review. Anywho, seated promptly, prices are good food is good, service is good except for soggy waffles :( Also note the dirty q tips on the ground next to our table that were never cleaned up the entire time, eww.
