I decided to go eat lunch at Ihop today since it’s my day off. I was very disappointed. I ordered a turkey sandwich andbit was bland and dry. They only gave my 10 french fries. I counted. I also ordered cofffee and it was really bad and seemed as if it was sitting in the pot for a long time. I had a horrible after taste in my mouth. I started to get a migraine. My husband ordered a big steak omelet and fruit. His omlete had more shredded cheese than steak. I noticed that his fuit was very soggy looking and obviously looked like it was mixed with other fruit in the fridge. I paid $ 38 for a lunch and his breakfast. I could have gone to my favorite lunch spot if I knew I was going ro pay for bad service and nasty coffee and a bland sandwich. I do not plan on coming here. It has lost its food quality and employees are loud and not attentive. My husband was disappointed was telling me that we should have not paid that much. I did let the cashier know about the coffee and told me someone else complained. I do know know when but they are obviously not looking into it since I was given horrible coffee. I will let my friends not to go there because Ihop has gone downhill and I rather pay a few bucks more and actually be satisfied somewhere else. Ihop… You have lost a customer and I will no longer be coming here.

Great Pancakes, nice service & close to the beach so you can walk off some guilty pleasures. Got a nice patio to eat at so you get the cool air and a lil bit of people watching

The best ihop omelet I ever had. I would definitely recommend this location. The service was excellent. The food was brought out really fast. Everyone really enjoyed their food.

The food was very good; it was representative of my usual IHOP experiences(it’s a large part of the reason for the four stars). The service was good, basically what you’d expect; nothing fancy, but not terrible either. The place was also very quiet when we went, which is a welcome change from most IHOPs if you enjoy casual environments like I do. The general area has some dilapidated buildings and if you don’t get the IHOP parking, you’ll have to pay(fortunately, we didn’t have to). Otherwise, the experience was good!

Came here on make a donation day and get a free short stack of pancakes. The waitress was nice although it seemed like she had been working hard to serve tons of customers who were flooding in since it was free short stack of pancakes day. The seats were not clean and they had salt on them.

Worst service for an ihop ever! The only one that helped me was the hostess she sat me down, brought my drink, took my order, brought my food and brought my check. My actual waiter brought my refill after my check, thanks for nothing.

This IHOP does well to contend with The Menu and Broken Yolk in PB. Good food, super nice waiters and waitresses, quick service, and an easy choice for an early early morning breakfast or late late night dinner.

Weren’t many options Christmas Day to eat so we stopped here. Our waitress was wonderful and very pleasant. The hot chocolate was delicious the waffle was decent. Pancakes and strawberry crepes not our favorite. Two of us got French toast and it was all mushy in the middle. Good flavor but yuck! Too bad we were hoping for a little more. Not to mention it was chilly and windy outside the inside it was probably colder. :(

This is not pertaining to the food, but the service of the staff. Vanessa … an asst. manager? Very unprofessional! Maybe she needs to go work in Southeast San Diego somewhere. When I called the restaurant to discuss A situation. She was incapable of acting like an adult. Instead she was very rude and ended up hanging up the phone on me… TWICE! When I called back the third time I spoke to Jack. Apparently he’s the general manager there. He said he would handle it. I hope so. Not only was she rude and unprofessional, but while she was working there she kept pressuring my niece her to hook up with my brother(her dad). Can you say desperate! Smh Good help is hard to find.

Nice music playing on overhead speakers but with the cooks boom box blasting some awful music in Spanish I’m out on this place. Not what I want to hear at 6:30 am. English music being overwhelmed by Spanish music. To top it off after a twenty dollar meal I let the hostess know that I didn’t enjoy listening to two different radios at once and she laughed and smiled at me. What a joke this places staff is. On a side note my breakfast was good

Typically we don’t visit chain restaurants while on vacation but we have not had much luck with the food in PB. IHOP was great! Our server was amazing and you could tell she was working her butt off to make us satisfied customers. Highly recommend for a guaranteed good breakfast!

Walked in at 6:55AM(Konos was 10 feet out the door at 6:50). Looked like one person was waiting for shift to begin(at a table on her phone hoodie covering her uniform) No one on the floor. I took a seat. Five minutes later no one had still even checked the floor. So I got up and started to walk out. As I did, I passed a server emerging from the kitchen. She didn’t acknowledge me but just went to the computer. I left the way I came in – through the front doors. Won’t be back. Kono’s, The Mission, The Menu will continue getting my business.

I’m a PB local and usually do not appreciate corp. chain restaurants, but whoever is running the place has it all figured out! The service is enthusiastic, accurate and friendly. The food always looks like the picture on the menu and the place is always clean and efficient. After years of forcing myself to try and appreciate the trendy beach breakfast joints down here, this spot has won the award of my favorite!

After travelling on the road for 5+ hours, my family decided to stop here to finally eat lunch. We were not impressed. The food was mediocre, and the tables were dripping wet when we came in. Not to mention that despite the fact it was 69 degrees outside, the inside of the restaurant was a chilly 60 degrees. Our waiter was really nice, but he spoke so fast it was hard to understand what he was saying. If you can find another location to eat while you are in this area, I highly recommend it.

I can’t believe this people! So I actually just stepped out from this place unhappy. I order a coffee that was bad done and wasn’t what I wanted. I ended up returning it and asking for my refund. The guy in charge this evening, his name is Cesar, gave me an attitude and told me he can’t give me a refund and that only the manager Jack in the AM can give me a refund. What kind of service is this? Why isn’t there a manager at this time to fix the problem? Or is it that Cesar didn’t want to give me a refund? Unbelievable and unacceptable. He said I should call tomorrow and gave back to me the original receipt. Which by the way, I will talk to my bank and pretty sure will get my refund through my bank because when banks don’t get the actual receipt without a signature, then the business looses and the client wins ;) this Cesar guy was so rude!

Very great service by the waitress Raul such a nice and wonderful employee he came by and sat us down at our table and immediately ask us we we wanted to drink no later then 15mins our food was brought up and served to us great service and for sure I’m gonna stop by here again when I come to PB

$ 73 down the drain! First off they forgot to put in my to-go order and by the time I get there they say they never received it. I verified to see if the number was correct and surely it was, ok whatever let that slide. After placing my order again the hostess comes back to tell me they can’t make egg white omelettes. Ok sure get me a regular omelette. So while I’m waiting I noticed on the menu(on the omelette page) it says ask for egg whites or egg substitute ??? Haha anywho I’m on my way back to my destination and I have hash browns missing. I call back and not even a sincere apology and she’s trying to argue saying I had never even called to place an order and to just come back and pick it up! No longer will I ever place a to go order here, I’ll much rather go to broken yolk.

I stopped by here early Christmas morning before heading up the 101 for a nice drive. I ordered the«Lite» vegetable omelet with a bowl of fruit. The omelet came with mushrooms, bell peppers, and herb roasted tomatoes.( ) The omelet was good. It was prepared and seasoned well. The vegetables had good color and were fresh.( ) I especially liked the herb roasted tomatoes. Their roasted flavor and juices added a nice touch to the omelet.( ) Good Vegetable omelet. The fresh fruit bowl was good too, but a little heavy on the melon and some strawberries would of been nice.( ) The service was pleasant. The menu and the pepper shaker however did need some cleaning. The meal cost $ 8 and some change.
