My daughter’s back window was shattered by a vandal in the College area. She discovered the damage late in the morning. I called Jose about 1 p.m., he drove to Chula Vista to get the right window and an hour later the new window was installed and he was off to his next appointment. The price was very fair.

Called Jose and he was there in 35 minutes to replace my windshield. Did a good job. He was friendly and courteous. Definitely would give him a good recommendation to others.

Jose is awesome, I called the day before set up an appointment, at 10am next morning met me promptly and 30−45min later he replaced my horrible windshield with a nice new one and found me a better rear view mirror as well. Great prices, never go to the dealer, it will cost you 4 times as much.

Some thugs broke into my car in Little Italy last night and broke my left rear window. I called Jose the following day around noon, he said he was available at 3pm. He came exactly at 3pm and was done in less than an hour. Super fast, efficient, and friendly. I would use him again, hopefully not because some dickweeds broke into my car.
No BS, called another location to get a quote. They quoted me at $ 175 but said they would knock it down to the price Jose already was going to charge me for.

Jose is a honest, hard working, long term business in south park. Used him probably 3 – 4 times, and having a vandal smash a window out saturday night before christmas i really wasnt at all surprised when he answered the phone sunday morning and was happy to help.

JC is notably efficient and friendly. Recommend you come here before going anywhere else.

Jose showed up promply to our 9:30 am appointment. He was very friendly and got to work right away. He stated it would take about 45 minutes to replace the front windshield, and I decided to sit and watch. Learned alot of valuable information about my car and asked alot of questions which Jose was happy to answer.
Was so happy with the NEW windshield and its looks fantastic! Would definitely recommend Jose to ANYONE looking for an affordable NEW windshield.

Happy to have Unilocal!Last night I found my rear vehicle window busted out, I was naturally frustrated, and went to an online ‘list,’ a search engine, then went to Unilocal.I called two companies, the 1^st one, a popular and over priced company, and the 2^nd, company there was no answer. Third call and 3^rd search was the charm, I found Mr. Jose at JC Auto Glass, He answered on the first call, got my auto info ‘FIRST’ before taking down the other info such as zip code and address, and gave me a prompt quote, and immediate appointment. He even called back to verify not just the year of the car but the manufacture date as well. He said he would be here at 1:00 pm and he was here on time, was friendly, and fair in price. Jose is friendly and i felt safe to have him at my home. I will keep his card and refer.

A rock on the freeway caused a huge crack, which couldn’t be repaired, and I needed to replace my 11 year old windshield. I found JC on Unilocal,called him around 9:30am and he was at our house at 2:30 pm. He replaced my Tundra windshield for $ 45 less than Safelite, and $ 60 less than Auto Glass of San Diego quoted, plus he came to my home.
He was polite, funny and he did a great job! As an added bonus, he looked at the windshield on my fiancé’s semi rare care to see if he could find a replacement.

Someone broke left side passenger triangle window on my Hyundai a week ago.
I had to find someone to fix it. I decided that mobile auto glass service would be the best choice for me.
I found J C on Unilocal.They were able to squeeze me in their schedule on the same day, which was very nice.
Jose went exactly on time. It took only 25 minutes to fix my window. Jose was very polite. He definitely knew how to do his job.
My total came up to $ 140, which I think is a very reasonable price, since I did not do anything.

Jose is the man, some ass face broke into my car and he came out the same day and replaced my window. the cost was not what i expected, it was even lower. Good man with a legit work ethic. I f you had a car window broken this is the guy !!!

A few months ago while getting my car washed I noticed water was coming through my rooftop? I didn’t know what the cause was until now after some tests and professional review. The windshield was not put on with a tight seal so there is a gap. I took my car to Penske and they said that the installers did not do a good job installing the windshield. Right off the bat they can tell that the windshield was installed too high. The VIN# is unreadable, if I was pulled over by a cop I would have gotten a ticket. I was told that if JC is a reputable company they should repair and i should still be under warranty. It is illegal for them to install it that way so they should have known this and prevented this poor fitted windshield. I will contact them soon and update you all with the service received.
Update: Was able to bring my car back in so they can reseal my window. He couldn’t do anything about the misplacement of the glass though so that was a disappointment b/​c my VIN is still not visible since they placed the glass poorly. The seal did help with not letting water leak in though. Now I just have to watch out not to get in trouble with the law bc they will probably fine me for my VIN number. Make sure to check this if you eve get our windshield replaced. My husband always says, you get what you paid for :(

Horrible customer service. They made us wait around for almost 3 hours while periodically calling to say they were 10 minutes away… for 3 hours she was ten minutes away. So, obviously, we left. Then, she called us three times, leaving harassing voice mails as to why we didn’t wait. Stupid.
Don’t use them, no matter how low the price, its not worth it.

It had been raining for a couple days and I saw that I needed new windshield wipers. I stopped at auto zone to buy them and install them myself. I took off the wiper and left the metal bar up, before I walked into the shop I remembered that I needed a new headlight too. So, I go on and open the hood (didn’t put down the metal bar) and bam, my windshield all cracked…
Got a few quotes, the best as in price and customer service was J C Auto. Jose answered, told him I needed it changed asap he told me to come down to his joint on 30^th street. I got there at about 4:30 and left at about 5:00. Amazing guy, I couldn’t forgive myself for my stupid mistake and felt horrible when I got there, after chatting with him while he was installing the windshield I left happy and ok for some reason. If it happens again I will definitely call him without a doubt, but hopefully I won’t have to.

After my windshield was completely bashed up by some bozo down in the Gaslamp one night, I called JC Auto Glass first thing in the morning. They had someone there by 9 am, and it was replaced beautifully within an hour. $ 180 — which I am supposed to get reimbursed because the police actually caught, arrested, and convicted the guy who did it!
Fast, courteous, clean and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I never take the back road home from work, because it goes right by the concrete plant on Mission Gorge Road. Well, one day I was late and thought I could shave off a few minutes from my commute and… you guessed it. A truck kicked up a big rock and CRACK… there went the windshield. A big (yet oddly satisfying) crack across the whole thing.
I waited a few weeks and then called around for some quotes, and JC Auto Glass had a really good quote. So, I called and dude was right on time! Prompt work, really nice guy and the windshield looks great with no after-​market imperfections.

I’m really bummed about writing this update, but I have to be honest with all you Unilocalers.
I got my window fixed back in 2009 and was so happy about the customer service, the price, and the fixed window.
My window has been perfectly fine for the past couple years… until this morning. While I was driving, the window popped out and almost scared me to death! Pressing the button didn’t do anything but actually made it worse.
I brought my car in to an auto shop near home, and they said that whoever fixed my window did not do it properly (I know they are being honest with me because I’m related to the owner). All JC did was glue it back in, which is supposed to be a temporary fix. Temporary, indeed.
I’m so disappointed.
JC Auto Glass was the reason I opened my Unilocal account… so I could write them a good review because I was so satisfied with everything.):
To all you readers, if you get your window fixed here, maybe you can show them this Unilocal review and make sure they fix your window properly.

I heard the hit and I cringed. A day later I got into my TL to go to the salon and spend the day shopping and I saw it. The HUGE crack running across the passenger side of my windshield — headed toward me!
Being me, I Unilocaled, found Jose at the top of my list, called him and made an appointment for 5 hours later. I didn’t even call around to see if I could find a cheaper solution because my fellow Unilocalers said he had the best pricing.
So Jose and Alvaro came over to my house, stripped out the old windshield, popped in the new, threw on extra tape because it was supposed to rain and left my house all within thirty minutes.
I am pretty pleased with the results! I hope I never HAVE to see them again, but if I get struck again, i’ll definitely give them another call!

I had my windshield repaired two times with JC. The first time they were awesome and I decided to have them repair my windshield again the second time.
The second time… the experience was eh. When I was on the phone with them, the guy went on and on about giving me a good deal (Yeah it was $ 240 which was about $ 100 cheaper than other guys that I called.) I decided to have them come out and change the windshield. After that was all said and done and I was on my way home, I noticed a line of distortion on my windshield. It was like looking through bi-​focals. It was on the passenger side but it still annoyed me.
I called JC asking them about this and why they didn’t mention to me that they were putting in a distorted glass (if it was more money for a non-​distorted glass, I would’ve gladly paid for it). The once very helpful guy turned rude and kept on saying that it wasn’t a problem and because I wanted a deal that glass is what I got. Let me mention that I never asked for a deal, he was the one who gave me the deal. He said that he would call me back on Wednesday morning to set up a time to replace the window. Wednesday came and he never called. When I called again, a woman picked up and after I told her my dilemma she said that she would call me back again. That call never came as well.
It’s been about 4 months since I’ve had my windshield repaired and when I call they never call back, and the distortion line is getting longer on my windshield (yeahup I measured it).
I do have to say that the guy who came to fix my windshield was really nice though.
All in all, just remember to ask about the windshield they are using and remember that they suck in providing follow-​up service.

As I was about to do my homework after talking to my women, she immediately calls me back in panic.

Me: «WTF?!? Are you okay? I just got off the phone with you… I’ll be there.»
I met up with my girl at her sister’s house and saw the damaged. It looked like Nolan Ryan pitched a fast ball at her windshield. She told me that huge piece of wood flew towards her. I’m glad she was okay and her passengers. Luckily, the suspect didn’t fled and stopped to see if she was alright. They exchange information and he is willingly to pay for the damages.
Now what to do…
I search on Unilocal for windshield repair and found J C Auto Glass. It was rated 5 stars from an individual and decided to call this company. Two rings away, Jose immediately answered my call. Jose, the wind shield mechanic, was very professional. He came down from rancho bernardo to fix my girl’s car. At his office, jose and his associate replaced the windshield in a quick amount of time. Speedy Gonzales got nothing on these guys. They were perfectly fast in replacing the wind shield. So, I really suggest these guys to you people! Great service! Fast! And respectful!!! Keep up the good work!
