Love this great lil coffee station in the middle of the civic center courtyard. It’s just a block from my work which makes it dangerous … Because I find myself walking over for my morning pick me up several times a week!
Great baristas that are super friendly and the coffee is really good! I have tried he green tea smoothie and loved it! The offer a few pastries and snacks if you are hungry. Definitely recommend!

Jenny is so sweet and personable. The coffee is amazing and espresso drinks are made just right. They also have a frequent buyers card that they will keep there for you so you don’t ever forget it!

Jenny is the best. She knows everyone’s name and always sends you away smiling! Great place to have in front of my office building.

Needed a quick caffeine fix to keep me awake for the afternoon session of our conference… Based on previous reviews and the very close proximity to the US Grant… I thought I’d give it a try. It was a bit hard to find at first (it was a walk up stand), but once I found it the barista was nice and my drink was made quickly. I decided to try the Mexican mocha and must say it was good, not too spicy, not too sweet.

Ja Java has the best coffee downtown. Jenny knows and is so great to all her customers. She’ll make anything you want and if you don’t like it you can switch it up. Ja Java is the best.

Jenny who runs this business is one of the friendliest, happiest people I’ve ever met. The coffee is delicious too as are the pastries and they are always switching it up so that the customers have new options.

Delicious organic coffees, lunches and treats — always friendly customer service. Ja Java has a very accommodating staff who will concoct practically anything to your satisfaction. Seriously though, their organic smoothies are second to none. I love their convenient location and that I can grab a healthy lunch on the go or savor decadent French pastries while attending a show. Lastly, you don’t want to miss Friday doughnut day for the best deal around.

JA Java has the best customer service! They are usually open weekday mornings/​afternoons and during Civic Theatre events. I love their ice blended coffees! Thanks, Jenny, for being so friendly and always knowing what to recommend!

I don’t check in here nearly as many times as I go… which is at least once a day. Can you say delicious!
Whether you want regular coffee or an espresso drink, the flavor is amazing!!! And I love the chocolate cover coffee bean that comes with the espresso drinks… nice signature touch!

mmmmmm… I’m typing this review as I sip the sweet goodness that is a JA Java Soy Latte! So many coffee shops get soy latte’s wrong; I never would have thought this little kiosk, in the middle of the Civic Center, would have me salivating! I also bought some delicious vegan macaroons, they’re made with almond butter and chia seeds instead of egg whites, YUM! Definitely stopping by here again on the way to the office!

It’s located right next to the Civic Center Plaza in Downtown, literally right next to it in the front. I wish they actually had a store or something.
I really like their hot chocolate. Sounds weirdly unusual, but I was digging hot cocoa when I was here so I ordered it and with the line being incredibly long, the only dude working the machine was pretty darn speedy Gonzalez.
Back to the hot chocolate, obviously I can’t explain it that well, but it tasted pretty organic. When you drink the last sip/​gulp of it, there’s no extra strong cocoa flavor just chillin on the bottom, which was nice =) But once again, the chocolate didn’t have that strong flavor to it; it didn’t taste like a chocolate bar (where when you eat one, it’s really chocolatey).
Well anyway, I like it and I would order it again! Only downside is that the hot cocoa is $ 3.50 (one size)…pretty pricey.
