Pricey but delicious. The staff here is always kind and helpful. Sometimes you have to wait a while since they don’t have many people working at once, but if you’ve got a few minutes, it’s well worth the wait

I’m a smoothie fan, but I have to always change t u and take out ingredients because all of their options end up with just too much sugar. You don;t need 5 kinds of juice and fruit in a smoothie in my opinion. But for a quick(usually unless busy) cold one, it’s a decent place to pop in.

This JJ location is small but there is plenty of outdoor seating area. I think most of us are familiar with their smoothies, but did you know you can get a delicious hot oatmeal with fresh bananas in the morning? Jamba’s oatmeal in my opinion is much better then for example Starbucks one. Its not diluted with water but they use soy-milk as well is the oatmeal is steal cut, which gives its a nice texture and a bit of a crunch. I prefer my oatmeal with fresh bananas, but there are a few other topics that are offered. One more addition to their menu is a primo acai bowl, which i tried the other day, get a 24 oz size and its good for 2 people to share! its delicious and nutricious :)

In all the Jamba Juices I have been I though the years, I have never had a bad experience! If I’m not sure what to order the workers always take the time to help me decide making recommendations after they ask me a little about what I like and don’t like. There seem to be Groupons and Living Social deals out there often, which is always great.

Love their acai bowls as I am trying all acai San Diego has to offer(which is more then you can imagine!) Unfortunately they use to have 2 – 4 acai bowl options now it only seems like 1, which I’m a little disappointed is. Otherwise their portions are bigger then most have an ample amount of fruit and of course cold smooth acai. There smoothies fantastic as well just been awhile since I have had one!

Best Jamba Juice in town. I stop by this one on my way to work from escondido just because the employees here are THAT awesome. Very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I ordered a new smoothie and didn’t actually love it so they made me my regular one free of charge. Excellent customer service.

This Jamba location used to be great until the mall got renovated. Now parking is horrible and it can be tough to find a space when the kids from Torrey Pines HS gets let out(they all congregate to this strip mall Mon-Fri). I was a freak about Jamba’s mango drinks until I grew up and realized it was mostly sugar. So I stopped going. Then I fell on the wheatgrass gravy train and loved the wheatgrass shots here. It makes more economic sense to get the double shot of wheatgrass(vs the single shot) but gosh, who woulda thunk drinking GRASS and PAYING for it would ever make sense. THEN I discovered Whole Foods in Del Mar and realized that they have freshly pressed veggies/fruits/etc that, ounce for ounce, compared to what you get here at Jamba, is cheaper to buy at Whole Foods. Maybe there’s something I’m missing on the Jamba menu but I don’t see anything similar to what you can freshly get at Whole Foods juice bar. But that’s just me. The kids that work here are great though. Just because I’m not a fan of JJ doesn’t mean that my sister or mom agree. They come here and enjoy the smoothies. They had samples of their newest drink Amazing Greens and I must admit that it was pretty tasty. So I do hope they have the ability to start juicing fresh fruits(besides oranges) and more fresh veggies in the future.

For as many times as I’ve visited this location, I’m surprised that I had yet to review it until today. It’s your standard Jamba Juice and barring any shockingly bad experiences, I can’t see myself giving a Jamba anything less(or more) than four stars. A couple years ago my favorite drink, Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up disappeared off Jamba’s in-store menu but thankfully they can still make my sweet purple concoction for me. It’s delicious and I highly recommend this flavor if you’re also a pomegranate fan. The staff at this location has always been friendly and quick in making my drinks. I’ve noticed that it can get busy during the after-school hours but I simply avoid it during these times.

Ordered the acai berry bowl, small size, I think it was a 12 oz. The bowl was light and refreshing but WAYTOO much honey. I thought it’d be a tbsp of honey to just add some sweetener to the bowl, but it looked like 3 or 4 tbsp of honey. If you’re about that honey life, then this is for you. It was a little too much for me though. Super friendly people working here. Bonus tip: punch in your number for the Jamba rewards and get a free boost. Added whey protein to mine. I would definitely order it again sans honey.

I’ve resolved to eat more fresh fruits and vegetable, and so I find that I’m going to Jamba more often than Rubio’s or other«healthy fast food» restaurants, for my kids and I. Last two times I went, I had disappointing experiences. Yesterday, at the Carmel Mountain location, after shopping, my daughters and I stopped in for an energy bowl, around 7pm and they were out of bananas and it was really small! Today, at the Del Mar Heights location, they were out of granola, and it was a better portion, but severely lacking toppings. It’s a juice bar!!! How can you run out of bananas and granola!!! Also, I bought a Groupon for ½ the energy bowls and after I used them all, I found on the Jamba website that the bowls are ½ off til Sept 30th!!! No one at the store will tell you this! I could have used my Groupons in October, if any employee had bothered to mention it!!! Really Jamba, I’m trying to give you my business, work with me!

Friendly staff. I love that they have added fresh squeezed juices to the menu. The normal blended jambas were sometimes a little too much for me, but the juices offer a lighter alternative. I love any of the the juices or blended drinks with veggies added. Haven’t had a bad one, and they tend to be lighter in calories and sugar too! This place an get busy and crowded and parking can be a pain, but that’s all a given at this shopping center.

Last time I was at JJ, I wanted to try a new drink called Piña colada. So, I ordered one but it did not pass my taste test :(I felt so bad… staff here gladly changed my order and made me a new white gummy :) and upgraded it to a large! so sweet! By far, this location has the best customer service and they surely know how to make me happy!(I was grumpy earlier. but I’m happy thanks to these amazing staff) Shannon took our order and she was very welcoming and sweet. The manager & the other staff was very welcoming and sweet too :) My white gummy tastes amazing :) forgot to add whey protein though.

The staff has always been great. They have no issues to omit or make substitutions. They can get very busy in the mornings and could really benefit having another employee. They usually only have two or at most three on duty. The mango granola bowl is delicious. So is the mango peach smoothie. Surprisingly the mango peach is not overly sweet. I always get the large and it is a satisfying meal on the go. I have yet to have a bad smoothie from this place.

Normally, I would give Jamba Juice 4 stars but my last visit knocked it down a star. The service and cleanliness of the restaurant was superb, as is usual, but the quality of the smoothie was lacking. I ordered the Caribbean Passion, which has been my go-to drink for years and has always been delicious in the past. Since I order it so often, I know exactly what it’s supposed to taste like but something was off this time. I think the orange juice had maybe gone bad. I grabbed it and left the restaurant without tasting it first. Had I tried it before I left, I would have asked for a new drink or a refund. I’m also disappointed that the boosters are no longer free but an additional .50 charge now. I’ll still continue to visit here; I think I just came on the wrong night. There’s nothing better than grabbing a Which Wich or some Panda Express from the neighboring restaurants and then getting a Jamba Juice to wash it down.

This Jamba Juice gets very busy on weekends particularly around lunch time. I’ve been here dozens of times(more than my check-ins indicate). There are many high school students(Torrey Pines 1 block away) and on the weekends there are many«after-soccer» game patrons along with the standard lunch crowd. The wait times are always long here it seems. Perhaps they can use another employee(or two) to assist with all of their responsibilities as to reduce the wait time for the customers. I love their seasonal items — and right now(Aug/Sep 2013) you can have the Kona Berry Smoothie or Bowl. Today, I ordered the Bowl, and lo and behold, they ran out of bananas — huh? What? Running out of bananas at Jamba Juice where it is a staple ingredient in many of the smoothies??? –1 For the diet conscious, health conscious, and those looking for a relatively healthy snack/drink, we all know Jamba Juice is a fantastic option. The menu tends to change over the years, but if you have an old time favorite, you can always ask them to whip it up for you(most of the Jamba-ista’s still remember/know how to make my old time favorite«Blue Banana Blast). …Although there are occasional faux pas’s(as in any establishment), I still give this place 4 stars based on the overall brand and product that Jamba Juice provides.

Let me say that I REALLY like Jamba Juice. I’ve been to Jamba Juices in several states, in countless cities, and I have never once had a bad experience at any of them… except this one. This Jamba Juice is like ½ mile from my work, and in the dozen or so times I’ve been there, I’ve left not pissed off probably twice. I seriously hands down blame the management here. I don’t know what criteria they use to hire people, but«giving a f*ck» is not on that criteria. My list of grievances with this Jamba Juice are long and plentiful, and although Festivus is months away I am going to air these grievances right now. The people who work here are consistently stupid. I’m not a mean person, this is merely a fact. Example: I will ask them if they have oatmeal. They will say yes. I will order oatmeal. After ordering and waiting 10 minutes they will tell me «We are out of oatmeal.» That is not an isolated story. That has literally happened to me 4 or 5 different times, which is why I preface the conversation with the question«Do you have oatmeal?» instead of «Can I order oatmeal?». Now if they were screwing with me, like some sort of «lets purposefully deprive this girl of her oatmeal every day prank», that might be kind of funny and I would give them some slack. But they are not that clever, they are always really embarrassed and yelling at each other over their lack of being able to get me freakin oatmeal. A consolation twisty bread thing is nice, but once again it is sure as f* not oatmeal. So yeah, that’s not their only problem. They don’t blend their smoothies all the way, they refuse to put the supplements in your drinks, even though they are making them right in front of you, they are slow, they don’t staff their store right, they are rude, they don’t clean the store, they are lazy, they complain and talk about disgusting personal matters while making smoothies, and I think Jamba Juice should literally excommunicate this store from the Jamba Juice empire, so it will stop sullying their name. If you are the manager of this store and you are reading this I cordially invite you to a meeting where I will address the rest of my grievances and your inability to run a smoothie shop, but for now I think I’ve made my freakin point.

Mmmm JJ! I’m always in the mood for smoothies after a long run. So refreshing and healthy!!! We were greeted even though it was really busy on a sunny weekend. I was treated to a light smoothie — Berry Fulfilling(berries and bananas). It was delicious…
