I’m relatively new to Pilates and have had several instructors. I love Jessica and her studio! She’s very experienced and knows how to work with my body type(older, overweight and a leg injury). I feel so great and energized when I leave her studio that I wish my work schedule allowed me to go every other day. She’s extremely friendly, knowledgeable and puts out really positive energy. Plus her studio is so clean! Really nice equipment too. I was fortunate enough to be referred by a friend who had amazing results from Jessica. Totally recommended and her rates are very reasonable especially if you commit to a 10 or 20 session package.

Jessica is the epitome of a professional Pilates instructor. I only started Pilates last year. After trying some of the franchise options, and being warned by my physical therapist sister-in-law to be very careful about the instructor’s knowledge and abilities, I fortunately found Janae Luxe Pilates Studio. I feel very supported while also challenged to continue to be my personal best. This is a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to benefit from Pilates. Keep up the fabulous job, Jessica!

I am now a true Pilates believer because of Jessica! I have taken various private sessions and classes over the years and never really«got it». It always felt a little intimidation because no one ever explained the foundation and why Pilates is good for my body. My experience with Jessica has been the exact opposite. She never made me fee like a beginner. She quickly recognized my strengths and challenges and balanced the sessions to make them challenging, but not discouraging. After two months of small group classes, I have seen a significant improvement in my posture and have had a noticeable reduction in back pain. If you are looking for a personal experience and a knowledgeable instructor without all of the pretentiousness, Janae Luxe is the place! Highly, highly recommended.

This is the best Pilates studio I have come across in San Diego! Jessica is an amazing instructor, great customer service & the socials are an added bonus. Her small classes are the ideal way to take a Pilates class to make sure you are in the correct form. I have tried out gyms, yoga, and Pilates studios since I moved to San Diego. This is the only place that gets me excited to wake up & work out! Pilates is great for strengthening and toning and it has helped me overcome injuries. Jessica offers great deals as well!

Private Quality Sessions for a Great Value I was fortunate to find a Certified Classical Pilates Instructor of Jessica’s expertise that offered PRIVATE lessons for a reasonable price. I was interested in taking Pilates because I wanted to build strength, become stronger and feel stronger. Jessica has helped me to accomplish these goals. Jessica is knowledgeable and patience. Jessica uses her expertise to strengthen and engage your core muscles while also simultaneously working other muscle groups, resulting in a complete mind and body work out. Prior to Pilates, I was dismissive about how important the core muscles are in every aspect of physical activity and yet, how improperly underutilized they are. When the core muscles are not developed, strengthened and engaged, the body subconsciously and improperly relies on other parts of the body to do the work, e.g., back, knees, etc., to its detriment. For example, before Pilates, I was unwittingly relying on my back and knees for support while wearing high heels, resulting in increased pressure and pain in my back and on the balls of my feet. This problem became increasing worse over the years, until I was no long was able to wear high heels due the acute pain on the balls of my feet. However, now that my core and legs muscles are stronger, these muscles are actively engaged to support my body and correct my posture while walking in heels, relieving the pressure on the balls of feet.

I have been doing typical workouts for 30 years. As my body is not keeping up the way it used to, I was looking for something to change it up. Somebody recommended Pilates to me. I took Jessica’s class and knew, I had indeed, made the right decision. Jessica asked me up front what type of injuries, aches & pains, etc. I had and she was very attentive to assisting me in a workout that was best suited for me. She obviously knows what she is doing, and she is outstanding at communicating what needs to be done without making me feel like an idiot. My only regret is that I didnt start Pilates earlier in life. However, if I had, and ended up with a different instructor, chances are it would have been«One & Done». Jessica truly is a people person that knows her Pilates.

Let me first say that I am new to Pilates… From years experience of the way the body works and neglecting myself with just moving weights from point A to point B, I finally caved and went to a Pilates class. Jessica was extremely helpful and patient with me and taught me how the basic movements can help not only in my daily life but in my «weight training» workouts as well. I was slightly intimidated to go into a class because I thought people would assume that I was some meat eating, chest pounding jackass. But I was welcomed and very comfortable. Whether you are a bodybuilder, fitness enthusiast, or just some average person, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with Pilates and more importantly; Classical Pilates with Jessica. Hands down… BESTINSTRUCTORINSANDIEGO!

A gym is only as good as its instructors. The instructor Jessica is amazing. I attended her classes a few times and I wouldn’t take classes anywhere else. I consider myself as a novice pilates student so I need a lot of guidance when it comes to poses. Jessica is very attentive to her students so you can take a class and know you’re not wasting your time doing the poses wrong. And you feel the difference once she gets to the right pose. Her classes are challenging no matter what your experience is with pilates. Aside from that, Jessica is friendly and approachable. Tough teacher but with a great personality. You can’t go wrong with that.

I have trained with this amazing girl!!! Her sence of humor helps in the tough moves and her knowledge of health and fitness is spot on! I’d have to say if you are looking to get fit, firm up, tone, loose the Holliday pounds… Or just maintain… Go to to this place!!! Or she can come to you! I think there is an extra charge for that, but it’s worth it!!! I bought training in bulk and she would come to my home in RSF and I had no excuses!!! I so appreciate all she has done for me and continues to do! :) Oh… Don’t let her pretty face fool you, she is as tough and smart as they come!

You just won’t find a better Pilates instructor than Jessica. I trained with her originally to get in shape for the Susan G. Komen 3 Day walk and the goal was more than accomplished, and I was VERY out of shape. I continued with her for another year after that. She is tough but so funny and she pushes you to your maximum capability. I was completely satisfied with my training and hope to train with her again soon.
