First time trying JM!!! Upon entrance everyone is so nice and welcoming. I got the bacon, chicken and ranch hot sub with no veggies(because I’m anti-vegetarian sorry). Check in on Unilocal for a free cookie! Your choice of snicker doodle or chocolate chip. The sandwich was good but the chicken was a little dry. The ranch wasn’t spreaded evenly amongst my sub like how I hoped it would be. I still liked it but not sure if I loved it as much as Subway. My soda I bought. The Mountain Dew was flat. Didn’t realize until I got home when I tasted my drink that the machine probably ran out. *cries inside* BUT. The cookie was delicious and had a great crunch to it. I could literally eat 100 of them.

Beware coming here during a rush. — During my last visit, the team member putting all the extras on my sandwich didn’t really listen and I wound up with an already moist tuna sandwich now drenched in oil as well. She asked if I wanted«Mike’s Way», which I declined, but she made the sandwich that way and ignored my reply. To be fair, it’s possible she didn’t hear me. But if that were the case, then why did I get the jalapenos, banana peppers, and pickles that I asked for. The experience I had a week prior couldn’t have been more divergent from this negative experience if they tried.(This is also why they get 3 stars from me.) The team was friendly, heard everything, and I came away with a deliciously stuffed sandwich and a smile on my face. The moral of the story is avoid the lunch/dinner rush or make sure you speak loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear.

I go here for the Philly cheesesteak subs, it’s close to home and hits the spot. Not the Best philly ever but it works! I have also tried their chicken philly it was good too! I also like the little snacks they have up front they are different … Also love the y give back to the community by doing lots of charity events.

Jersey Mikes PQ is clean and spacious! I dropped by here after an awesome Chargers Win! It wasn’t too busy and was able to be in and out with two giant subs, 4 drinks and 4 bags of chips for such a great deal! Thanks Jersey Mikes for hooking my family up with delicious food at reasonable prices! Can’t wait to get back to use my rewards for a free meal! Get bacon with any sandwich… You can thank me later!

Although they’re known for their cold sandwiches with Mike’s Way, I prefer their hot sandwiches. It’s a little pricier here than other sandwich shops. The giant is definitely more than enough to share. They definitely don’t skimp out on the meat in your sandwich. So filling! My fave is the #17 or any of the cheese steak sandwiches really.

Jersey Mike’s is my favorite sandwich chain(my reviews are almost always four stars because of their consistency), but my recent visit here didn’t mirror the good experiences I’ve had at other locations. We were commuting up and stopped here to get a quick dinner. It was an hour before closing, but there was a long line of customers who had the same idea as us. We ended up standing in that line for about 20 minutes, unusual for a brand like this one, even on busy days at prime lunch hour. They were understaffed(only 2 employees working the shift) and apparently low on supplies as well. After we put our order in(#9 Club Supreme), they told us there wasn’t any bacon left, just as they were finishing up the sandwich. In lieu of the bacon, they offered any other deli meat on the menu. We took up that offer, but for anyone who appreciates a Club Sub or Club Supreme, the bacon aside from Mike’s Way is what makes the sandwich; it just isn’t the same to substitute something else. The sub was fine, but we would have appreciated an earlier courtesy of an absent ingredient so we could adjust our order accordingly rather than settle with paying more for what we get.

Excellent sandwich. Excellent service. I had a birthday coupon, and they were so cheerful and accommodating about it, wishing me a happy birthday, even offering to sing.(By contrast, I also had a birthday coupon from another sandwich place. The other place was sour and suspicious. They examined the coupon. They read the fine print. They asked for my id to make sure it was really my birthday. They finally, grudgingly admitted that the coupon was legitimate and gave me a sandwich with a very cross look.) But not at Jersey Mike’s. Jersey Mike’s has a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. And the sandwich was very good, too! I’ll be back.

I like the sandwiches but I’m sorry, $ 7 for a 6 – 8 inch with minimal topping is just too much

Jersey Mikes is soo good. They cut their meat in front of you bread is good they have a few topping choices I think they should add more toppings. But always a good place to go if your wanting a bomb sandwich.

Amazing subs. I used to go to subways a lot but then I realized that jersey mikes is simply the best in terms of fast food. My favorite is the classic number13 original Italian mikes way. Love how they cut the meat fresh unlike other sandwich places… will come here often with my family!

Sometimes my daughter is in the mood for Asian noodles but the hubby and I aren’t. So when that happens, hubby goes on a dinner run for her noodles and then goes to any other nearby eatery for our dinner. Case in point, daughter got some Yenchim Garden Chinese food. We got Jersey Mike Subs. Hubby and I got two sandwhiches. A pastrami rueben and the big kahuna Philly cheesesteak. We split both sandwhiches in half and each has a piece of both. The rueben was only«eh.» It definitely could have used more meat. To me, it had waaaay more sauerkraut than meat. The cheesesteak was much better. The flavors were pretty good. I’m glad I saved it for last. I would still like to have more meat on it though. At first, I thought the bread was good. But i realized that it did seem kinda rubbery and not-so-fresh the longer I ate. Could it be because it was dinner time? I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was because it was the end of the day… I guess we could come back and try their other subs. They have quite a selection. Overall, I still would rather go to Board and Brew…

There’s a subway in the same shopping center that’s cheaper! Well, I can see where the difference is… or at least where it tries to be. Hot subs are made on the spot. Got a Rueben pastrami and it was just so-so. Got a cheesesteak sandwich and it was much better. Maybe not East coast good, but it was delicious on this side. Plenty of cheese, but maybe not enough meat. Bread was a little rubbery, but maybe because it was late in the day. I do like the fact that they slice the meat right in front of you or cook it on the flat if it’s a hot sub, but the bread could be fresher. I’ll try again because there’s a frequent eater card, but it will be hard for this chain to match a small sandwich specialty shop.

Love this place. There are a ton of customers and all the staff are busting tail getting subs made. Great teamwork and great attitudes!

Amanda greeted us and made our sandwiches. She was the only one we saw upon arrival and another lady entered immediately behind us. Amanda was doing her best to keep up and when another gentleman entered she started to look back towards the kitchen for help. She made eye contact with another girl(breanna?) and smiled(a please help me smile). The girl came out and said«why didn’t you ask for help?», Amanda said she did, and Breanna replied, «we can’t hear you from here, you have to walk to the back.»…in a not so friendly manner btw. Amanda looked disappointed and rightfully so, her co worker was unreasonable and rude to her while she was trying to take care of the customer. Shame on Brianna, she could take a lesson in customer service from Amanda… who DIDN’T walk away from our order. Breanna clearly needs better observational skills. Keep up the good work Amanda. Three stars b/c of how unprofessional the other girl was and for the long line that formed b/c of the lack of teamwork.

I love Jersey Mikes! Most all the locations have very friendly workers. It is so nice to come in and feel at home. The Black Mountain location has a very nice manager(Brea) that remembers what I order and that makes me feel important. Yeah!!! Thanks Brea

Love the #9. I usually get it on wheat, mini size, mikes way, with mayo and extra bacon. The mini only comes with 1 piece of bacon usually. They used to do the extra bacon for free but has recently started to charge me for it which I don’t mind. I use the mike card and have gotten a few sandwiches for free.

This was my first visit to any Jersey Mike’s, so I have no idea whether or not my experience reflects all of them, or just this one. In any case, one of these reviews calls it a «glorified Subway.» They might have that backward. I was greeted by a long line(on my lunch break, so I had limited time), but based on my experience in other sandwich shops — with lines that moved fast — I wasn’t overly concerned. This one didn’t move fast. It didn’t even move slow. I’m hesitant to even use the verb«move.» «Crawl,» maybe? «Plod»? «Slither»? Bottom line: it took me nearly 30 minutes from entering the line to walking out the door with my sandwich. Unacceptable, and enough to keep me from ever going back. As for the sandwich itself, definitely mediocre. Not the worst I’ve ever had, but certainly not rising above average. In my book, the bread makes the sandwich — you can’t make a good sandwich without good bread. There was absolutely nothing special about their bread: it didn’t detract from the sandwich, but added nothing either, except for texture. That’s a big sandwich fail. Coupled with the über-long wait, the food quality made for an unpleasant lunch experience. Staff: There was one guy who was brash and talkative(in a good way). To me personally, he was a bit over the top, but he added character to what would otherwise be a bland and faceless customer service experience. He gets the place a +1. Submarina remains #1 in the sub chain category.

I don’t know what happened to me but over the last two months I’ve been to two different Jersey Mike’s and have enjoyed their sandwiches. I visited a JM awhile back and found their subs to be mediocre at best. I recently found this location. They’re located in the PQ shopping center(right off the 56 fwy). They’re REALLY tucked away so look for Time Warner cable and you’ll be able to find them a lot quicker. This store is clean and inviting. Plenty of tables and I like how they have 2 flat screen tvs. You walk up to counter, place your order, and watch them make it for you. I ordered the CA Club. It’s not on the menu for some reason but it has turkey, cheese, bacon, avocado. You can get it «Mike’s Way» which consists of onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Vinegar, Oil and Spices(any combination gladly accepted). You choose from small, regular, or giant size. I got the giant size for $ 12.95. It easily feeds 3 people in my opinion. Few comments about this sandwich: — they slice the turkey meat right in front of you — the avocado is more of an avo spread vs slices of fresh avo(the avo spread does appear freshly made though) — bacon here is CRISPYCRISPYCRISPY: I can’t get enough of it… which sucks b/c on the Giant size sub they only gave me maybe 4 slices… boo — they REALLY douse the sub w/alot of red vinegar so if you dislike vinegar, you might take heed to this The people that work here are nice. The girl who took my order knew I was going to save the other half of the sub to take home so she recommended doing Mike’s Way on only one half of the sub(so the bread wouldn’t be soggy later on). ‘Brilliant my dearest’, I kept thinking in my head. So that was really kind of her. And there’s this one kid that works there — Joe(?) — he’s so young, happy, and helpful — makes me sad that one day he might be disgruntled and miserable like the rest of us after a few years of working. One major thing I was disappointed with was that NOONE mentioned to me about their Rewards program. I guess you get points for every sandwich you get. I heard other customers giving out their phone #‘s to cashier(?) and wasn’t really sure why. But I guess you use your phone # to log in your sub purchases. So yeah — they should make it a habit to ask customers if they’re enrolled in this Rewards program. Otherwise, this is a nice location and I’ve come to really enjoy their subs!
