Dr. Juarez is a great pediatrician! We first met her when our daughter was two days old when we took her in for a checkup. Dr. Juarez did not at all make us feel weird and never judged us for giving birth outside a hospital, which in my experience, many doctors do not condone. She’s very friendly and she will explain things to you as she is checking the baby so you know what is going on. She is thorough in her check-​ups, and she is willing to take the time to answer any of your questions if you have any. When our daughter was 4 months old, she thought she may have minor hip dysplasia, and she was quick to send us over immediately to get x-​rays so that our daughter could be checked right away. She was also very supportive of my exclusive breastfeeding, and when we continued to breastfeed past one year she was surprised (because she said that in her experience many mothers stop earlier) but was encouraging. She has always been very friendly with us and our daughter. I’d recommend her to anyone!

We recently changed over to Dr. Juarez, under recommendation from a lactation consultant at Mary Birch, and we couldn’t be happier. The last pediatrician we had for our little girl was less than supportive of my exclusive breastfeeding– making me feel awful that my baby was a bit on the chunky side (and when I say a bit I mean, she’s HUGE). Being a nurse myself, I know how important it is to breastfeed, and that the weight they put on will melt off as they become mobile, and Dr. Juarez in on board with it. She didn’t even make mention that our little girl was off the charts, because she knew it was all breast milk chub.
She spent plenty of time with us and answered all of our questions respectfully. We arrived at the office, signed in, had the appointment, and were back in our car 40 minutes later. We literally waited for 2 minutes before being seen, both times we have gone. Awesome. She was very loving and sweet to our baby, which I of course appreciated. I feel that she will continue to give us appropriate care, with up to date information– which is much more than I can say about so many other peds!
