When you’re trying to be healthy to start off the new year, you gotta hit up Juice Crafters in Little Italy. I haven’t been to many juice bars, but, with their quick and helpful service, Juice Crafters will have my business again in the future. I got the #11 and it hit the spot. Definitely recommend this place!

I was cruising around Little Italy after a night out debating wether I should grab an iced coffee or a juice. I happened to walk by this juice bar and stopped in. I was just being curious but the smells, the look of all the fresh fruit and veggies, and the very friendly lady at the counter convinced me to try a #3 freshly made juice. I loved watching all the fresh greens, ginger, lemon, and veggies getting blended up in front of my eyes to make a wonderful, tasty and healthy drink. I felt great after sipping my juice and I will be back soon!

Probably the best acai bowl I’ve had in San Diego. This spot has a great variety of fresh, organic ingredients, and the vibe is totally welcoming. The employee prepared my order with meticulous intent, making the end result a high quality, tasty treat. The only downside — no seating inside. What I got: Kale Acai Bowl When you should go: Lunch break, Post-gym P. S. I believe they validate parking in a nearby deck.

Walked in during the Little Italy art walk. Small space. Only 3 people working inside and there were quite a few orders so I waited for my drink for about 20 min. Ordered: Greenest#3, 20oz. Review: Bitter, not refreshing. I have had green juices with similar ingredients but this one was bitter. Tasted like the greens were not washed, which I’m sure they were but that’s what it tasted like. My friend got an acai bowl and was not impressed either. Conclusion: For what you pay here you can find something better elsewhere however, the location and staff are very nice. I will not be going back here.

Overall I was not impressed. Juice Crafters has a selection of juices and smoothies but they do not let you alter anything not even for an additional charge which is sort of a bummer. Also I am not the biggest fan of their prices. A smoothie will run about $ 9. I know it is healthier than say a Jamba Juice but it is also twice the price. I ordered the Fountain of Youth which did not seem to have a lot of flavor, very odd considering it has a ton of different berries in it. My friend ordered the Muscle Builder. I tried a little but wasn’t completely sold on it. I will stick to making my own smoothies at home.

Reasons for the 3: 1 — you can’t make your own smoothie or juice. If there’s not an option you feel like on the menu you can’t really change it. And if you do want to add something they up charge… Which is not common for most juice places because you are still getting the same amount of smoothie or juice. 2 — some of their smoothies/juices are $ 10! I would get it if they used only organic and took the time to cold press but $ 10 for not totally organic and not cold pressed is just too much. 3 — they use ice in the smoothies… Smoothies should be packed with fresh veggies, fruit and whatever liquid base of your choice, not ice. To sum it up… I’ve tried every juice place out there and juice at home. This place is just ok. I make better quality tastier juices at home when I have the time. PS juice shops are not low calorie, typically very high in sugar and when you get a «fresh» juice that’s not cold pressed you lose a good amount of nutritional value from the produce. Most of the menu items at juice crafters are indeed high in calories and sugar. Go there for a «healthier» treat.

You will like this place if: You wear a fedora. You frequently eat kale chips. Your idea of a «shot» doesn’t have alcohol — just acai berry. Inspirational chalk board quotes from Pinterest are your jam. For real though, everyone was perfectly friendly and their menu is probably good. I mean, I don’t go to juice places a lot so my basis for comparison is low. I do know that my drink(the Green Soul), tastes like frozen lettuce but that’s what I wanted soooo can’t complain. The 16oz was $ 10 though, and that’s not really a sustainable price point for me to come here frequently.

This is one of the most healthy and fresh juice/smoothie place I’ve been too! I order with«lily + strawberries» smoothie(almond milk, banana, dates, granola, strawberries) and the first sip I took into that drink, it screams fresh right away! Definitely you do not taste that«heavy yogurt» like most smoothie places do. This smoothie was refreshing. I heard they use local produce for their drinks too. I gave this place 4 stars because it is a little pricey for their drinks. For my 16oz smoothie, I paid $ 7.99

Hmm 4 stars, 5 stars. I guess I’ll say 5 because this place is consistently delicious, fresh and the recipes are creative. For example my Pacific Love smoothie has bee pollen and royal jelly included in it. It’s so dang good that I’m unable to order anything else. I’ve tried other things as they often have samples to try and everything is yummy. They have some bottles of green drinks that are made daily. That’s a nice convenience and they have a very small selection of super healthy snacks as well. I always have a good experience here as the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming. I guess it’s worth the expense but it’s still painful to pay $ 9 for a smoothie. I can say I’m getting used to it tho since I’ve been coming so often. Gosh I’m craving one now!

All right. I’ve been here about five times now, so I think it’s about time for a review. I LOVE the acai bowls here. I get the Brazilian with fruit and granola only. The fruit is fresh, the acai is fruity, not chocolatey like I’ve had at other places, and the people working there are super chill. On a warm San Diego day, it’s the perfect healthy treat. The acai bowls, or anything there for that matter, will put a dent in your pocket. $ 10.00 for an acai bowl here, but it’s totally worth once in a while. This is not an everyday habit. This is not really a bring your friends and sit down place. In fact, there is no where to sit on the inside. There are three benches outside where you can savor your treat and people watch, but it’s really a grab and go type place.

I was being unusually conscious about my caloric intake today around lunch and decided on a healthy smoothie as an option. I remembered someone told me about Juice Crafters a few months ago, one of the latest businesses to pop up on India St. in my Little Italy neighborhood. They are known for their utilization of nothing but fresh fruit, raw vegetables and nuts. I opted for a large Blue Bird, consisting of fresh blueberries, walnuts, raisins, almonds, almond milk. The first sip threw me for a loop because it wasn’t sweet like the typical smoothie; rather, it had a subtle sweetness that came from the natural flavor of the blueberries and raisins. Nothing artificial or processed in this smoothie. It was refreshing. I could taste the blended slivers of walnut and almond. Needless to say, I felt very proud of myself that I had something so healthy! I’m not a smoothie or juice connoisseur, so I have no idea what the typical price point is for these products. My large Blue Bird was $ 7.99. It feels pricey to me, but I didn’t mind because the ingredients are so fresh and healthy. The service was a little spotty. I waited at the register for over 5 minutes to be acknowledged to take my order. Other than that, looking forward to coming back some afternoon!

On a day where I was having acid reflux, I really needed something refreshing. My stomach was going cray cray. The Mission Federal Art Walk was going on so it was slightly crowded. I checked out the menu and I must come back for the acai bowls –since I’m totally party of the peeps that like those now. They have some set juice flavor options(mixed fruits, veggies) but I decided to just go with a regular Watermelon Juice. It was expensive! Not gonna lie — this isn’t going to be my go-to for juice, but it definitely was a nice find. The juice came out fast, and it was delicious, perfect for the hot weather. The juice is made fresh, right in front of you. And it smells amazing inside.

Yet another Acai bowl craze! This will be my 3rd place and counting. I am determined to try all the Acai bowls in downtown and then venture out. Update– was informed this wasn’t an acai bowl, only a berry blast bowl! Will update when I actually try their acai bowl. I got the berry blast bowl which came with strawberries, dried fruit(raisins and something else) coconut shavings and pineapples. The acai was a bit flavorless and melted faster than the other 2 Acai bowl that I tried… And with that being said a bit more expensive than the other 2, but I did like the presentation and the bowl that they give you, it was easier to eat. And fruit servings were plentiful and fresh… Just needed a bit more flavor. From the 3 that I tried so far I would say Juice Bar is my least favorite on taste but favorite on toppings. Here’s a short break down: +toppings –flavors –price +location

Just crafters has been my go to the past few days for smoothies, cold pressed juice and fruit bowls. Their juices are made to order. They have four different options from what they call the«green force» which include some type of spin on cucumber celery and other ingredients like kale, spinach, apples and lemon to name a few. They have other types as well that include a good mix of just fruit or veggies, or both fruit and veggies. I’ve had the Acai Brazilian Super Bowl and and the Berry Blast Bowl ~ I’m addicted, they’re so good! Bowls are about $ 10(which is kind of steep), but the portions are big enough for two to share. If you want to meal replacement then the bowl is perfect. They have wellness shots(chia, maca, tumeric and wheatgrass to name a few). I never even heard of maca until I came here. can’t wait to try something with it.

I love Juice Crafters so when I saw that they had a location here, I walked a few blocks. They are right next to the Little Italy sign. There was a line out the door but it went quickly. Once I got to the front though, the cashier had to go help make juices. The menu on the board is just some of their specials. They have paper menus and a large one near the cashier. I love them because they make smoothies as well as green juices. It’s vegan, gluten-free, raw, blah blah blah for the most part. I got the Flax Power, which according to their online nutrition, has quite a bit of protein and is lower in calories. Keep in mind, the Flax Power was $ 10.99. Too expensive normally. Juice Crafters is consistently good and everything is made in view.

Juice Crafters is awesome! I’ve been here a few times and had a meal replacement smoothie, cold pressed juices and a few shots. Everything was fresh and tasted great, and the service was quick and friendly. I will say that you get what you pay for here, and you’re paying for quality. This is not Jamba Juice; your smoothies are not loaded with sorbet and sugar. The smoothies, shakes & shots are made from fresh fruits and veggies. I’d keep that in mind so you’re not shocked when you go to whip out your wallet. Overall, I think it’s awesome that a place like this opened up in Little Italy and will be back soon!

After a night of heavy Italian food, then drinking through several San Diego bars, it was time for something healthy. Juice Crafters is relatively new to the area, offering acai bowls and smoothies, perfect for a SoCal Sunday morning. Beyond the deafening music playing inside, this is just like any other juice shop that I’ve visited. No really, the music was super, super loud. Normally I’m happy to wait inside while the order is being prepped, but in this case, it was better to sit outside on a bench and strain to hear my name called instead. Yes, I realize this makes me sound like an old fogey. But it’s true, turn that sh*t down! Other than that, the product itself is great! Between the acai and dragon fruit bowls, no complaints at all. Even my parents who’d never heard of acai until now were happy with the selection. I’m not a «juicer» and cannot speak for the cold pressed drinks, but am guessing if this is a true LA joint, it’s probably up to par. Nice addition to the Little Italy ‘hood, sans the early morning jams.

Glad this juice bar opened in Little Italy! Conveniently located on India Street, and everything is half price during their«soft opening.» They don’t have pressed juices yet, but everything else from their menu is available… regular juices, smoothies, acai bowls, etc. I opted for Greenest #3 — kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, ginger — and added pineapple in the hopes of sweetening it up a tad since some all green juices are a bit too strong. It didn’t sweeten it up as much as I hoped, but it was still good. Great customer service and a nice addition to the neighborhood.

I am loving this new Juice Bar located in the heart of Little Italy. I visited them during Little Italy’s Festa and in addition to trying a few smoothie tasters, I ordered the Acai Brazilian Power Bowl. The acai Brazilian Bowl was fantastic and came topped with chewy coconut shavings( ). The blended Acai berries were cool and smooth packed with a delicious rich and semi sweet flavor. With the added granola, it not only enhance the bowls flavor, but added a great texture as well. The freshly sliced bananas and strawberries just added to the overall flavor and nutrition of the bowl. The bowls comes with only approximately 237 calories and it’s quite filling. A great bowl… I tried a couple of sample juice blends such as the American Eagle, a secret menu item which was quite good ad fruity( ), and the one I can’t remember it official name, but I remember them telling me at had some sort of seeds in it and it was very good( ). I think is was Chia seeds, but don’t quote me on that. They were very busy when I came in, but the high spirited employees were busily hurrying about making product and serving customers. Just a note, there was no seating inside during my visit, except for a few right outside the door.
