Pretty good sushi for a really low price. Had the caterpillar roll and an avocado roll. Ordered by phone and they had my order ready in 3 minutes! Perfect for my 5 minute walk over there from work. Comparable to much more expensive sushi! Loved it!

This is a great take out sushi spot! I paid $ 4 for a nice sized spicy CA roll. Don’t come here expecting authentic sushi, just decent sushi that caters to the American palete.

Excellent sushi! This is a great little spot and will serve the staff and students of SDSU very well. Great pricing and the sushi quality was superb. I predict this place will be busy once school starts so expect little to no seating as this is a small little place. I will now make this a weekly visit. When you’re done eating the gross Subway sandwiches, try this spot!

This is not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it is hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in this price range. I don’t usually eat lunch out during the week, but I’ve been here three days in a row, even though I’d brought lunch from home. It’s that good. Now that I’ve said that, let me tamp down your excitement. This is cheap sushi. Starting at just $ 2 to $ 3 for hand rolls and nigiri, up to $ 7 or $ 8 for the fancy inside-out rolls. There are only a handful of combos and sets over $ 10. The fish will not be the most amazing in the world. This is a takeout place, so even if you’re eating at one of their tables, you’ll be eating out of styrofoam containers. Set your expectations accordingly. But given all that, the food here is amazing. Dry, old rice is one of my pet peeves at cheap(and expensive) sushi places, but here the rice is fresh. At lunch time it’s still slightly warm, but later in the day is also good. The fancier rolls are a bit too rich for my tastes. Do you really need tempura, avocado, mayo, and cream cheese all in the same roll? But the more traditional ones are great and the hand rolls are fabulous. The unagi-don(freshwater eel bowl) was seared right before they served it to me, and the eel was tender and rich. Better than places that cost twice as much. Business is slow right now, and I’m afraid this place will go the way of the restaurants here before it. Quick, visit now while you can!

Very small«to go» restaurant. Just opened next to SDSU campus. Prices are reasonable with prices including tax. They take cash(of course) and visa & mastercard. Sushi rolls are 8 pieces and hand roll 1 piece. Prices are slightly less for a hand roll. Also on the menu nigiri and sashimi coming in 2 piece per order for nigiri or 5 pieces per sashimi order. There is also a wide variety of special rolls. On the menu there are sushi combos that have between 12 to 14 pieces. Rice Bowls and side orders such as edamame and miso soup are available. Service was pleasant and my food tasted good. I enjoy sushi but am not a sushi expert. Will return to try other items on menu. For first visit I just tried some different nigiri and it was good.
