It’s my fav restaurant when I go to the horton plaza I only eat in that restaurant. But the women there look sad all the time.

$ 9 for a pita, fries, and a fountain drink — on the pricey side for mall food. Kebab Café is located in the food court on the 7th floor of the Westfield Horton Plaza. The two ladies working this kebab stand were kind of slow making orders and I wonder about the quality of their food. I could hear them bickering over me being able to see them as they were fighting over a pita(thankfully mine was already made). It was hard to understand the lady chanting gyros and other nonsense to passerby’s with no actual responses. I did stand there long enough to witness many people adding extra meat for an additional $ 1. Like Tuyen N. said, I shouldn’t have passed up Panda Express.

I knew I shouldn’t have passed up Panda Express today. Going to the mall for lunch is always scary because I know I’ll spend more money than I should for mediocre food– and I only wished my meal at this place was mediocre. Lured in by the chants«Falafels, gyros, shwarmas…» I thought that this would be a good change up from my usual mall food frenzy. I ordered the sliced gyro plate with rice and a greek salad, which the server told me was«very good.» Sounded promising. It came to me in my styrofoam lunch box weighing in at nearly 10 lbs! This thing was heavy and when I opened it, I noticed that it was packed with rice! So much so that it wilted my salad. Warm salad on a hot day was extremely delicious. NOT! The rice was dry. The sliced gyro was salty and had no texture to it. I think it could have passed for jerky. I had to down my soda so quick that I just couldn’t stand to eat the food any more. It was so bad that I threw it away instead of letting the feathered rats go at. Even they deserve better food.
