When they actually have pizza to sell its pretty good. 2 days in a row I show up and they have virtually no slices in the case. Wth. It’s lunch. Have food to sell.

Pizza isn’t bad. A bit pricey, even though the sauce doesn’t taste fresh. But it was good. The problem I had however, was the cheesecake. I went to bite into it, but it was frozen. Upon closer inspection, it was freezer burnt. Very very disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. There is decent quality pizza close enough that actually has fresh food for my money. So… Yeah.

Knockout Pizzeria… They specialize in «NY» style thin crust pizzas. Small order at the counter with decent but cramped amount of seating, soda vending machine, menu includes other food items like pastas, garlic knots, calzones, etc. See menu here: . Really great tasting pizza with nice crisp, friendly service. Could be «fresher» but the amount of toppings, and quality surpasses this. Their lunch specials are a «knockout» for only $ 6.50 you get two fabulous humungo New York Style slices and a drink of choice. I opted for water, since you know soda is sooooo bad for you and with tax it came out to $ 6.16, so say NOSODA to get the mini discount! They have pre-made pies ready to go and they vary on the daily. You can also order pies made when you order. They have a good selection ranging from supreme, marghertia, hawaiian, sausage & pepperoni and about 4 others ready to go. If getting your slice, you choose your slice and they put it in their fire oven to get nice and warm and crispy. Crust is nice and has a nice crisp with every bite. Toppings are plentiful and cover every bite. Service — we got the hello and thanks goodbye when we left. They seem humble and really friendly. The only caveat I have here is each time I have went, I felt like the pizza could have been«fresher» but honestly, for the price I can’t complain. It does seem like the pizza has been sitting out there for a while, and even when heated up again, and although they keep the crisp and flavor, it’s just not as HOT as I prefer. If you get the fresh pies to go though, that’s a different story!

I wish I could write a review on the pizza, but while at work I attempted to order delivery. The employee wouldn’t take my order as I was out of their delivery zone. My work is literally across the street from where their delivery zone ends. I understand having a line, but can’t you service both sides of it?! I found out they do deliver to my new house, but I definitely won’t have them deliver on moving day.

My standards for pizza is based on NY/NJ pizza. I order 2 plain slices. It was dry and the crust was chewy. The slices lacked sauce and cheese. Maybe the pizza with toppings are better.

Love their cheese pizza here. Good variety of selection, with a decent wait time

Best pizzeria in the area. Really wide selection of toppings for pizza, and lots of great salads, sandwiches, etc. Fast, courteous delivery. You can order on Eat24 for delivery too! Order pizza tonight!

I’ve been here a few times and ordered a pizza for take out and it was decent. I came by here for lunch and the pizza by the slice selection was down to 5 choices at 12:30PM. Another pizza place in the area normally has close to 8 or 9 different choices. Not to mention there was a fly that claimed 4 slices to itself… Anyways myself and my co-workers were disappointed and I’ll probably not be back here for lunch anytime soon.

I love knockout! The first time I came in I was a little put off by the pizza sitting out but that was were the questions ended. I received my slices and I was in heaven. I didn’t realize how authentic the pizza was to New York. Like they don’t say pizza but instead say pie. Also pineapple isn’t a traditional New York topping so don’t ask for it! I refuse to eat any other pizza. I love the Whitestone, tomato basil, and porko. The prices are reasonable especially when you consider the ocean is a few steps away. The employees are always friendly but in a local beech city way. The sports memorabilia is really neat to check out too. Worth it to stop in!

Pizza is great! Service has never been a problem until tonight. The person receiving telephone orders was rude. When asked for a recommendation, the employee refused to give one. At the end of the order the employee stated there has been«extra» conversation that was not necessary for the order. These extra conversations included asking what time Knockout Pizza closed because the employee had been unusually unpleasant. It was almost 9:00 pm and they close at ten. TL&DR Pizza is good, service can suck.

Very good quality pizza. They are thin crusted which is cooked well consistently. We’ve ordered from Knockout Pizzeria like at least once a week. They deliver within 45 minutes. Their garlic knots are just bomb and they come with marinara sauce. Their salads are delicious too and reasonably priced. There are many pizzas to choose from but our favorite is the Knockout Pizza. Would definitely recommend you try it!

Really nice place! NY style pizza. They warm it after you choose it. I love how the crust came out crispy and the slices are HUGE!!! 2 slices and a drink for $ 6.50. Can’t beat the price! service was good and parking lot was busy but definitely worth the find. I’m not from the area and really enjoyed their pizza. There is also a large variety of pizza choices as well. Two thumbs up!

I called Knockout Pizza to enquire about delivery of an order I placed with Eat24… when they didn’t see the order in their system, they expedited the order and had it to us in a little over 30 minutes! Thank you Knockout Pizza!!!

This place is the worst. Twice now I’ve ordered delivery and twice they forgot my order. Are you kidding me? Not even an apology. Don’t waste your time.

I agree with what Tony said. Our first experience was great and the food was delicious. We found out about them because of a menu posted on our door. Tonight I was excited to try the pizza and the guy said he wouldn’t deliver to my area. I heard in the background another guy saying something about me not giving him the coupon so now I’m thinking I’m blacklisted? Maybe try putting me on mute. Now I’m just hangry. Poor customer service. I guess their business is doing so well they don’t care about new customers. Have fun running your business that way.

Pretty disappointed. Tried to order for delivery because I pulled out my back and wanted to rest it. And they told me they did not deliver that far. 3.4 miles is not real far to deliver. They just lost a good customer because they would not deliver past«their cut off». I must say I have picked up food here many times and like their food. But customer service is what I value most. I will not be going back.

Finally, a pizza place in San Diego that I would actually order from again. We placed an order for 5 specialty pizzas on a Saturday at about 7. They said it would be about 90 minutes– which is fine, we got a late start. Pizza was there in 45… Great, but a weird overestimation of time. White and all-meat pizzas were really tasty, toppings generous, good crust. Sad we found it just before moving. The logo of a slice with boxing gloves tickles me.

I may a stop here for a couple of quick slices of pizza and a drink. Luckily for me, they still offer their lunch special on Sundays or every day of the week. The special consist of 2 slices of pizza of your choice and iced tea or soda for $ 7. For my slices, I chose a Marguerite and a Hawaiian slice with a an unsweetened iced tea for my drink. The slices, being of the East Coast variety, were thin crust and pretty good. The Marguerite was my favorite, other than missing the garlic, it had nice fresh tomatoes and plenty of basil with a good amount of flavorful cheese. The crust on both was mostly crunchy, maybe a little to crunchy, because I like a bit of a chew in my crust. The Hawaiian slice was nice and provided some good flavors via the savory ham, pineapple, and light spread of tasty tomato sauce. The crust was similar in texture to the above slice, and for some reason it was much more oily to. I think it came from ham or natural water from the pineapple that escaped during baking. Like I said, the slice tasted very good, but I needed to dab it a bit with a paper towel. All in all, the pizza were good and the so is the lunch deal. If I remember correctly, they also have a salad, slice, and drink lunch special too. Service was friendly enough.

This place reminded me of Bronx pizza, quite a few thin crust pizza options. Pros: — Quite a few pizza options, both meat and vegetarian. — The lunch specials are a pretty good deal. Two slices of pizza and a drink for around $ 6. — Quick and easy lunch ordering. No complaints with the staff. They both were quick in helping customers. Con: — The crust was pretty tough. I usually like the crust, but this was hard to bite. — Pizza didn’t have a lot of flavor. I ordered a Margarita pizza and a pesto pizza. Both pizzas were a bit on the bland side, couldn’t really taste the pesto. — Pizza was a bit on the oiler side. This place is pretty convenient. It’s the not the greatest pizza, but if you’re craving New York style pizza and do not want to drive to Bronx, then this may temporarily satisfy your craving.

This has become my new favorite pizza place for work lunch. It’s one of those places where you can either order a whole freshly made pizza, or grab a couple slices of their already made pizzas. They warm it up until the thin crusts are nice and crispy, just how I like em! At $ 7 for their lunch special of 2 slices of pizza and a fountain drink, it’s about a dollar more than other places, but I prefer the pizza here so I always return. They have quite the selection of pizzas, but my favorites are the thin crust spinach ricotta and the deep dish pepperoni. I’m not sure if it’s the cheese or the seasonings on the pizza(or both), but it always taste so savory. Coworkers tell me they love the garlic knots, but I have not tried them yet. I’ve always had great service here and the guys behind the counter are friendly. Give this place a go if you just happen to be in the area. It’s a small place located to the right of Bevmo.
