Awesome Korean restaurant near Point Loma! Unfortunately it closed down recently and is turning into a Vietnamese phở shop.

Korean Deli is not bad. I’ve had better korean-mexican fusion food since I’m from LA. The concept is great, but they need to step it up and offer more flavorful items. The Koreans Fries were good, but I honestly recommend that you get them without cheese. The cheese is too heavy and ruins the taste of the dish. The burritos are good, but a little bland.

Shibal! Came here today hoping to get a bulgogi burrito for lunch and found out that they were closed. WTF! And by closed I mean CLOSED as in no longer open for business. Finito. At least at this location. Maybe they’ll reopen again somewhere else — one can only hope. There was a sign saying something about a Phở restaurant that will open in it’s place at this location. Didn’t even get out of the car to read any fine print about any details on this tragedy — was just too disappointed. Perhaps a place that fuses Mexican and Korean was a tad too hip for this grungy part of Midway after all. Had to settle for a nearby taco place instead.

After walking around Colby swap meet, craved something comfort yet different, this hit the spot. Small deli, few tables, but we came at 3 so seating was not an issue. Good Korean grilled meat, spicy pork bulgolgi sandwich, spicy pork bulgolgi burrito, Korean fries and ramen. Fries was a delish change from the norm, crunchy, sweet meat, spicy Kim Chi and a creamy Korean mayo. Burrito was also very delicious. I will def get these two things again. The sandwich was ok, they should have a lighter bread with crunch for better texture, the cheese totally threw me off. Unless you had a real craving for ramen and didn’t want to drive, keep in mind, this is not a ramen house so don’t expect Tajima grade here. Other than that, cheap, good Korean grilled meats in a not so common Korean area. We will be coming back to try the tacos next.

I came here a few times when it was called Jiggle Jiggle. I liked it overall. I’m Korean and I like to hit up the Korean joints periodically and this is the only one I know of in the OB Point Loma area. It is quite authentic, inexpensive, and has a simple but creator menu. It’s somewhat like a food truck in a restaurant. I’ve had their plate deals back when it was Jiggle Jiggle and most recently I had their spicy pork sandwich. The meat inside was tasty and cooked well. My only complaint was that the torta bread was a bit dry and there wasn’t as much meat as I would have liked. I think they should rethink their choice of bread and go with a kaiser roll that is more moist and chewy. Also, I think they should give larger servings. I think they would get more clients that way. I will try their other offerings the next time I’m in the area.

Loved the price and quality of the Bulgogi Burrito with the pork. It really was a Korean and Mexican experience all in one and tasted delicious!

I hate writing«meh» reviews but this place was quite ‘meh.’ I had the spicy pork bulgogi which came with kimchee and one extra side of one’s choosing(I had the jop chae noodles). First off my entrée came much later than another later arriving table of two received their entire meal. Secondly, the banchan portions were very small. Thirdly the pork bulgogi consisted mostly of chunks of fat. And the kimchee was just okay. On the plus side, the FLAVOR of the bulgogi was good, the amount of brown rice was generous and the price for the meal was reasonable($ 6.95 including fountain drink and tax). It seemed other patrons enjoyed their food — Korean fries and sandwiches appeared to be well received. I’ve eaten at a half dozen Korean restaurants in/around Convoy that were much, much better. I might give this one another try, since it’s closer to home. Maybe the kalbi? PS The parking at this shopping center is very tight at lunchtime.

Previously named Jiggle Jiggle, they have the same owners & a slightly re-vamped menu. Food and prices are AWESOME! Craving a taco or burrito? Forget about taco hell across the parking lot! They have Korean — Mexi tacos, burritos, & tortas! The portions are huge and the prices extremely reasonable. If you’re Looking for something a bit more traditional, they have Bibimbop, Ramen, & Rice plates too. You must try the Korean Kim Chee Fries! Who’d ever imagine Kim Chee, bulgogi beef, spicy mayo, & Korean aioli over French fries could be so amazing! One of the best things I ever ate! They’re only open from 10a-6pm so eat early. Love this place!

came here on my lunch break from work. when i see the name«deli» i think of sandwich, so i came here for a «korean sandwich.» there are photos of the food on the wall as you enter. the photo of the chicken sandwich looked reallly good but for some reason i ordered the bulgogi sandwich. well, that thing was huge! definitely worth the measly $ 5ish i spent. and it was delicious too. my mate(Friend) got a taco and the korean fries. he really digged it.

This is the ‘new’ Jiggle Jiggle and pretty much has the exact same food as far as I can tell. I guess I can see why they changed the name, but they did go pretty uncreative with this name. Nonetheless, I think the food is pretty damn good and I would go back more if they were open at night time. I think they close at 6 now, which is the only reason they got 4 instead of 5 stars. The food is kind of a cross between Korean and Mexican and I only mean Mexican by the food’s format. For example bulgogi burrito or kalbi tacos are some fusion items you will find here. The place is kinda small so if you are coming with a larger group, maybe not the bets place. The inside is pretty barebones, a few tables and a couple tvs, but it is comfortable enough. Everything I have had here is delicious and the combo items are a great value I feel, so if you are a hungry guy like me, try those out. All in all, it is very unique and tasty food that you won’t find many other places.

A no-frills Korean joint located near Sports Arena. It’s a shame that they’re only open 10 – 6, as their business can cater very well to people needing hangover remedies. I know of people that would enjoy their BBQ tacos and BBQ burritos. Feeling a little more traditional, I got the spicy pork bibimbap combo, which includes kimchi and one side. The bibimbap contained a good proportion of meat and rice and was spicy enough with the addition of the gochujang. The dish itself is decent, good for the price I paid($ 6.99/tax) Will try this place again to try their tacos and burritos, but the hours make it a little inconvenient to visit.

This place used to be called Jiggle Jiggle — its pretty much the same menu, not sure why the name change(maybe ownership?) anyway — it is pretty good for a fast food type of korean food. I got the beef rice bowl and it was a good amount of beef and veggies and rice. Much healthier than some of the fast food places around there. This place is pretty cheap considering its Korean BBQ. I would reccomend for sure.

Considering it’s a fast food version of Korean and not restaurant style I think it’s pretty descent. If you’re in the neighborhood and don’t want to drive all the way to Clairemont to satisfy your Korean craving this will fill the spot. I’ve only tried the bulgogi, kalbi and ramen. I wouldn’t compare it to a Korean restaurant, but it’s not priced like one either. Korean spare ribs(kalbi) plate w/rice and 2 sides for $ 8. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m not sure if this is the exact same place as Jiggle Jiggle but it doesn’t look any different. I only had it once as JJ and it was pretty decent– they served up some decent takes on Korean staples alongside the familiar banchan. So I was excited to get back in when it reopened as KD, but my visit was really disappointing. I found the bibimbap and the banchan to be very middle-of-the-road average. Some of their more Mexican/American fusion fared a little better however, and I intend to give them another shot after they’ve been at it a little longer.
