Great donuts! Busy location with good parking. Staff is friendly. Their occasional receipt /survey for a good discount on a dozen donuts is a great deal and it’s nice that the chain is looking for customer feedback! I’d rate the store higher, but expect the upkeep to be better or improved on.

The donuts are always amazing, but the counter service leaves a lot to be desired. No one seems to know to address customers, and the hand off of your order to be rung up always results in confusion. Prepare to wait and be frustrated. I would dial back the insistence on suggesting drink orders, or explaining survey coupons, and stick to the barebones process of identifying guests that need help, and ringing their order up correctly and quickly.

I love this little gem tucked neatly away in the suburban northern part of San Diego. While other donut shops attempt to entice patrons with bizarre creations at outrageously high prices, Krispy Kreme donuts are consistently amazing year after year. Not to mention affordably priced. I also love the coffee, it’s honest and not gimicky or over-priced. I love how there’s also room to sit and just chill, have a donut or two and some coffee. Also the drive-thru stays open 24 hours. If you find yourself up in Clairemont, you need to stop by.

I don’t always eat donuts but when I do it’s Krispy Kreme original glazed. They have expanded their donut selections. Can’t beat getting a dozen donuts for about $ 10! Catch them when their hot donut sign is on and you will be in heaven! Only one San Diego location! They don’t have crazy donuts like other places but when their original glazed is this good you don’t need fancy donuts.

Brought my 86 year old uncle here for his first time ever and he said in all his life, this was the best doughnut he’s ever had!

Come and get some yummy donuts here! Let your little ones watch the donuts being made on conveyer belt. Kids look amazed watching it lol. I tried both the limited time cherry pie donut and limited time strawberry shortcake donut this round. If you’re not too late, please get one and try them. I love everything about each — the fillings, the sweetness level and look/designs. The strawberry and cherry fillings are delicious and are like a little tease because you don’t get too much of it like you would in a cream filled donut. IMHO cream filled donuts need to cut back on their filling. I wish these 2 weren’t limited time only, I love them so much. I guess I’m just not a fan of cream because I even trashed the small amount on the strawberry shortcake. Doesn’t need it.

Floor was super sticky and practically ripped my sandals right off my feet. Overall the donuts we’re same as all Krispy creams and the service was good.

As a transplant from the great state of North Carolina here in our wonderful city of San Diego, I feel I need to brag about about a wonderful food from the great state of North Carolina: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Now I reckon doughnuts divide people almost as much as bbq does when it comes to preferences. Some people prefer cake-like doughnuts as opposed to this round, fried manna from Heaven. Sugary sweet and great to eat. The cool thing about Krispy Kreme is when the hot sign is on, you get to stand in the window and watch the assembly line floating, flipping, and frying. Most times the workers will give you a free glazed one while you wait. Oh, and don’t forget to get your paper hat. You might lose all your cool points but at least you’ll have fun. Having been raised on Krispy Kreme, I’ve probably tried almost every variety there is. My personal favorites are the Glazed crème filled, raspberry filled, and original glazed. I recommend eating these only once in a blue moon because they are definite calorie bombs. I think they’re around 280 each. You might have to spend an extra hour on the treadmill the next day but it’s so worth it.

LOVELOVELOVE Krispy Kreme. I tried almost every kind of donuts they have and original glazed is still the best! There is a drive thru at this particular store but part of the fun of Krispy Kreme is to watch the donuts made in the assembly line. And don’t forget the paper hat they provide in the front for kids to wear! Krispy Kreme isn’t just donuts, it’s also fun-land for both kids and adults!

Woohoo! My first Unilocal review ever! Now that I got that out of the way let’s begin the review. This franchise deserves 5 stars no matter what people say. Smooth melt in your mouth donuts especially when the Hot Light Hours are on. I decided to only buy my 3 favorite donuts from Krispy Kreme: Chocolate Iced Glazed Maple Iced Glazed Original Glazed These were all delicious and it couldn’t get any better. Of course walking in to see how the donuts are made is an amazing experience too. An excellent experience every time I come in unless they run out of the donuts I’m looking for.

If you don’t know Krispy Kreme, you don’t know donuts. Get em’ while they’re hot, but honestly, this place pumps out the donuts so often that any time you come in they’re probably fresh. Coffee sucks, but just take the donuts to go and grab your joe somewhere else. Place has a drive-thru which moves pretty fast, but don’t even think about it in the morning because the line runs so long you’ll be late to wherever you’re supposed to be.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are my favorite ! I love the deals that they have, I always take advantage of those! Service is amazing here! Workers are very nice and sweet. I love how the window is clear so you can see the process on how they make the doughnuts. Online they show you when it’s hot and ready. Come during those times but it lines get a little long. They do have a drive through so if you’re lazy to get out of car, you’re all set.

I love love love Krispy Kreme with all my heart! The donuts are so delicious. I’ve heard of other good donuts and I once even went to Julian for some famous donuts but no, nothing compares to Krispy Kreme donuts. I live in downtown SD so it is a little bit far but it’s so worth the drive. Glaze donuts are always so soft and have an a amazing taste, my second favorite if chocolate cluster! *just don’t go at night(after 9 – 10) because the donuts aren’t as soft and don’t feel fresh but I love this place so much I’ll give it a 5 star

Krispy Kreme aren’t that good. I waited a long time to get my hands on one of these and when I finally did I was pretty disappointed, for me to drive somewhere like 18 miles to get to KK was a waste of my time. I’m talking about when they first arrived here in S. D…was it in the 90’s? Anyways, these doughnuts are small, expensive and they all taste the same. except for the variations of icing and toppings. The dough for me is too sticky and after eating a few, my jaw ached. I should of sue them for unlawful pain and suffering but was too lazy to see my attorney. So if you really want a delicious donut, drive to L.A. and go to Randy’s donut shop. I wished they had them here.

Krispy Kreme, you make my heart melt… or my taste buds. What I really like about this location, is its drive through. I think I’ve been inside once, which was the first time I visited this location. All the other times I’ve done the drive through. I have always had a positive experience with the wonderful light, and savory donuts. They’re consistently good, every time. The original glazed is my personal favorite. This location would be receiving a 5 star from me. However, their staff lacks proper training in customer service. Or, maybe they just don’t care because business is so good… or maybe they are under staffed. Not sure. Although, I will add that the lines are not long at all at the drive through… sometimes none existent. Still, it takes a long time to place the order. This is my biggest frustration. And, for that reason I give this Krispy Kreme a 3 star. The donut quality receives 5 stars.

I came here twice in the morning now to get donuts for the office. I got four dozen each time. The first time I just asked for a variety but the second time I was more specific. They are always very cheerful and happy to accommodate. Now sadly… I never actually got to eat any of these delicious donuts because I am gluten intolerant but my coworkers love them. We get treats every Month for birthdays. Usually cake or cupcakes but people weren’t really eating it so once I switched over to Krispy Kreme donuts they are always gone by lunch time :) Both times I used the drive thru and there never was a line which is nice but I can’t speak for how the inside of the bakery is.

We went a day early to beat the crowd…#nationaldoughnutday Krispy Kreme will give one free donut per customer with no purchase necessary today on this day(June 5th). Grab a dozen and save $‘s. My favorite are the strawberry and traditional glazed! Use drive-thru when you are in a hurry! Special donuts on holidays such as Mother’s Day, Easter and Christmas! Enjoy!

So both the Encinitas and the San Marcos green, red and white«palaces of puffiness» are shut down. You’d think with 1000 locations, our 3.2 million strong mega-metropolis rates at least a couple of these locations. I mean, who doesn’t like a hot KK donut pulled off of the magic donut conveyors? Well, in honor of National Donut Day, my wife and I made the long arduous trek to the obscure corner in Clairemont Mesa and picked up a couple dozen. And yes we feel good about ourselves, thank you. One day our lives will flash before our eyes, and we won’t be enjoying memories of eating kale or quinoa. That’s right, we’ll be watching ourselves enjoying each and every unwholesome mouthful of our glazed Krispy Kreme donuts. Happy Donut Day. #happydonutday

Liars! The Krispy Kreme app said the light was on… So we packed the three kids into the car and drove from PB to get a hot fresh now donut after dinner and we’re super sad because the app lied to us! After expressing my heartfelt concern… The employees shared with me that the manager on duty makes the schedule on which donuts to make and when … and it doesn’t sound like there’s any continuity or consistency! Frustrating! Apparently The same people own 12 Krispy Kreme donuts in Southern California! Grrrrrrr! I don’t understand because I love the Krispy Kreme on the way to Disneyland and this one I definitely do not love!!!
