Kumon Math and Reading Center of Kearny Mesa

Great location across from Banh Mi Cali Baguette. Convenient eateries for quick dinners after picking up your child. Ms Kim & the other instructors are very approachable, friendly and create a comfortable environment for young kids to learn without feeling pressured or nervous. Bathroom is clean every time I come!

We have moved a lot and I have to say this has by far been the best one ive had my daughter enrolled at. The staff is so responsive to my daughter’s needs and I have seen great imrovement in her reading and math skills. The staff is very personable as well. I highly recommend this Kumon center.

This review is long overdue. My son started Kumon here last April when he was 4 and what progress he’s made since. Miss Kim and Miss Mina were his teachers in class and they were awesome. Very engaged and encouraging. My son can count to a thousand, can easily point out words he sees all around and is able to read with a little help – all before Kindergarten. We have since moved to another state but we are still continuing him on Kumon, I think it is a great investment in your child’s education and confidence in school.

Kumon is an amazing program. Miss Kim and her staff are very friendly and engaged with all the children. All the students are welcomed by name when they come to class. I am given frequent progress reports and feel that they really adjust the child’s work load to keep them motivated and loving math and reading. I highly recommend the Kearny Mesa Kumon center.

Eight months ago I was referred to Kumon by a family friend who spoke very highly of the program. After watching her daughter read advanced material I knew I had to enroll my two children.
My oldest son Ferdinand is eight years old and was initially a little reluctant to do extra work. Miss Kim was very proactive and designed a plan to complement his school work. After adding Kumon to his daily routine Ferdinand was able to raise his grades in math and feels more confident to attempt more advanced calculations.
I enrolled my 5 year old daughter in the early learners program. I am equally impressed with her results. She has already mastered reading and she just started kindergarden!
I am extremely appreciative of the care that Miss Kim has invested with my children. She is extremely encouraging and I can tell she enjoys what she does. Education is priority number 1 in my house and I am fortunate I had Miss Kim to guide my children into the right direction. My only regret is not starting sooner.
