I should have read the reviews first before ordering. I received a battery that didn’t work. I contacted customer service. They were helpful, and concluded it must have just been a bad battery after walking me through some trouble-shooting. They said they would exchange it for free. I had no problem with that, however, free didn’t really mean free. As mentioned in the other reviews, they are making ME pay for the shipping for a defective product THEY sent. Why should I have to pay for the product and pay to ship it back when it was a defect on their part? I guess this is a good company if the product you receive actually works, but if it doesn’t, expect to pay another $ 5 – 10 to ship the bad one back.

I ordered a replacement battery for my Dell inspiron 1545 laptop, because ordering it from Dell would cost an arm and a leg… the battery was shipped right away, arrived in good condition, fit well into my computer, and lasts just as long charged as the original battery. A customer service rep called me to confirm the address and was very pleasant. I was overall impressed, I would definitely order from them again, and am sorry to see that others had such a different experience.

Ordered a battery for my X201 Lenovo tablet laptop. They shipped an incompatible battery and said they didn’t carry for«tablets». Customer service said I would have to eat the shipping cost for my return. Will not do business with this company again.

Laptop Battery Depot provided great phone and technical support. Their on-site staff were wonderful. They provided my battery quickly for a reasonable price and educated me about how to extend battery life(don’t keep the computer plugged in when it is not in use, etc). I suspect much has changed since Mike H wrote his 1 star review, as they appear to have a longer return policy now. For sales, service, support, consumer education, and generous return policies, I would give them 5 stars now.

I ordered a replacement battery for my wife’s old Dell laptop. The battery came but after setting it to charge overnight, the next day it had 0 charge. I contacted Laptop Battery Depot, got an RMA, sent the OEM battery in by mistake. I got an email saying as much and was invited to send the correct one in. I did so and got a replacement. Turns out Dell laptops are known for not charging batteries. I contact Laptop Battery Depot and even though I was outside the return period, they allowed a return for refund. But it doesn’t end there. I got an email that they had a technical issue processing the refund through my PayPal account. I received a check for the amount of the refund shortly thereafter. The people I dealt with were cooperative, friendly and quite frankly, made the entire ordeal a breeze. Yes, I had to pay to ship batteries back and yes there was a restocking fee, but this is not out of the ordinary. Very soon I will be ordering a replacement battery for my Macbook.

Ordered a laptop battery at a discount price. I got what I paid for! The battery never worked, but I didn’t figure it out because of other problems until after the 45 day return period ended. To return a defective part for replacement, you have to pay a fee(5−10% of cost) plus all shipping fees. I’ve decided to eat the cost of my mistake in trusting a company who purchases knock-off batteries for resale. Fool me once, but not twice.
