All the charm of a Paris sidewalk café without the attitude or the price. Absolutely charming setting set on G St. between fifth and sixth in the gaslamp district of downtown San Diego. Well run, well-managed, friendly staff, great proprietor, all-around great experience. Treat yourself to the eggs Benedict, unique and delicious…

Stumbled upon this place and decided to try it out. Doesn’t have much options but the desserts are okay. It has a wide open area and very spacious.

This is a GREAT spot to go out for dessert & coffee or even better, dessert &WINE! The space is beautiful and the desserts are so pretty I didn’t want to eat it… but of course I did! They have a pretty display which allows you to drool over the pastries as you make your decision. Once my friends & I decided what to devour, we knew we didn’t go wrong here because the desserts were heavenly! I had a mousse with 3 different chocolates and it was perfect. I can’t remember what my friends ordered because I was too consumed with my own(sorry!) Only things that knocked it down a few starts are: The fact that it’s in the middle of downtown, so clearly parking will be an issue. No private lot. Secondly, staff did seem a little timid with us & the other guests that came in after us and I just dislike seeing staff on their cell phones in front of guests… just one of those things with me :-/ Aside from that, if I am in the area again I would stop in.

For a brief moment you can pretend you are in Paris! Very friendly staff and the salads are so yummy! If you like French pastries this place has a good selection. I also tried their macaroons and were so tasty! It’s a very cute and clean café that gives you the feeling of being in Paris!

A little bit over priced. The cake is very tasty. However there was fruit fly in the café.

I pass by this place almost everyday on my way to school and I’ve always wanted to go because the outdoor décor is so cute. Let me just say that I love macarons. I’ve had them a couple times, but this place definitely had been the pest so far. My girlfriends and I decided to give this place a try and we weren’t disappointed. Their desserts are as tasty as they are beautiful. The server was very helpful teaching me how to properly pronounce the name of the desserts without making me feel bad about my terrible French skills. The hot chocolate was delicious, it was just a great experience as a whole.

I am enjoying a Tarte Aux Citrons and a cappuccino on this beautiful Sunday morning. Le Parfait Paris has its wall-length windows open, welcoming the sunshine and cool afternoon air.(Loving this light-hearted reggae that fills the room as well) Ordering seemed awkward as the staff seemed as confused as I did about finding a menu(do I have to look at the one posted by the front door?) and count vs. table service dynamic. My sweet treat looks different than any lemon tart I’ve had previously, with darling mini-meringues adorning it’s crown. The crust is a bit tough, making this a knife and fork endeavor. The lemon custard is light and tangy, as one hopes for. My cappuccino delicately balances the flavors of espresso and milk, not too much of any one ingredient. Overall I’m very pleased and I think I’ll even order another for the road. Four stars for the tart crust, the price tag, and the ordering/serving protocol. Five stars for flavor, quality of ingredients and preparation, and the overall ambiance.

This place has so many temptations so you should only come if you are prepared to indulge! They have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, desserts and drinks. The desserts there look too good to eat but if you didn’t then you would be missing out. I ordered the La Parfait Signature which is a dessert with dark chocolate mousse on top of an almond biscuit alongside a cappuccino. The dessert is really rich but tastes so good! The cappuccino was also on point. It had the normal flavors of a cappuccino but it was so light! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good coffee spot or some tasty treats!

Amazing. I had a little bit of everything. The cream puff was delicious and I HATE cream puffs. The macaron was chewy and decadent. I ordered the French sandwich with the egg on top. It had a lot of flavor and was good but i couldn’t finish it. My favorites though were the chocolate almond croissant, warmed up. It was perfect. Perfect on the outside and the inside. The peach iced tea was tasty as well. Im going back tomorrow to get some baskets of the pastries and desserts to take back home to sacramento. Oh and the service was top notch. Very helpful and a very clean place. 5 stars for everything.

Such a great breakfast/brunch/dessert spot. Truly a piece of Paris in San Diego. Croissants are amazing and the service is just so friendly and accommodating. We came here on our way to he airport to grab a final breakfast before leaving San Diego, definitely worth it!

Their macarons are some of the best I’ve had! The macaron shells are crunchy and airy, not chewy, and the fillings are flavorful but not overpowering. They also offer coffee, tea, and an array of select French pastries and desserts. Service is friendly and prompt. The establishment décor is chic, classic, and spacious. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual and/or late-night hangout.

Ein wirklich tolles Café! Mein Lachs Croissant war richtig lecker. Die Macarons waren köstlich, die besten die ich bislang gegessen hab. Sehr nettes Personal übrigens. Kurz gefasst — Empfehlenswert!

I feel like I have to give this place 5 stars because it was delicious and we went there three days in a row. Everything is quite rich, so don’t even tempt yourself by coming here if you’re counting calories. The breakfast croissant is super simple but really good because of the super flaky croissant. Anything croissant related was really tasty. The eggs benedict had a flaky danish pastry at the bottom instead of the traditional English muffin. Amazing! I love the coffee poster that shows how each drink is made. Otherwise, I would have never tried the café bonbon(espresso with sweetened condensed milk). Aside from people speaking English, it feels like a café in Paris.

After a Unilocal Elite event, a friend and I were craving dessert because the event featured dishes that were savorier. If I remember correctly, the event was at a Mexican seafood place. While the food was delicious, I know I had my fair share of spicy tapas and I was craving something sweet – more specifically, something chocolate – to relieve my mouth. I did a quick Unilocal search for dessert options and Le Parfait Paris was within walking distance(and still open). So, my friend and I just walked a few blocks. There was basically no one in the quaint bakery and I loved the look of the café. This would be the perfect place to have a girls’ outing for desserts or a great morning coffee spot. I didn’t look at the food on the regular menu; I was only interested in the desserts. A lot of delicious-looking items called to me from the display case, but the macaron ice cream sandwich caught my eye. I tend to be wary of these concoctions because I’m particular about the taste and texture of my macarons. But, thankfully, this one hit the spot. Yes, it was pricy, but worth it if you’re wanting to splurge/treat yourself. If I ever find myself in this area again, I would gladly stop by Le Parfait Paris to try some of the other items on the menu. Great spot for a late-night snack and I was impressed with not only the taste, but the presentation as well. «Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich»: I like my macarons light and spongy – definitely not coconutty – and this one didn’t fail to deliver. The macaron tasted fresh and it was a generous portion(I was mentally comparing it to the one I really like from Blush Desserts, and it was comparable, though more expensive). This dessert was available in two options — a fruity macaron ice cream sandwich or a chocolate chip macaron ice cream sandwich. Being a chocoholic, I opted for the latter. Although I don’t mind strong chocolate, I welcomed the lighter chocolate taste and fragrance of this dessert. It wasn’t overpowering but I could aptly taste(and crunch on) the chocolate chips in the ice cream. This definitely put out the fire in my mouth from all the spicy food and I would gladly order it again. Bonus points because the macaron ice cream sandwich didn’t melt rapidly … always great because I hate it when ice cream melts too fast for me to actually enjoy it. «Trilogie»: Since this dessert was designed for all chocolate lovers, I’ll have to try it at some point. It features dark, milk and white chocolate mousses over a light brownie. Again, while mousse isn’t my favorite, the fact that this dessert includes a brownie brings me some consolation. Plus, it looks so pretty and seems like the perfect solution for any chocolate craving. «Éclair Au Chocolat»: If I were craving a pastry, this is one of the first ones I would try. It features a finger-shaped biscuit that’s filled with chocolate cream and topped with chocolate icing. While I normally don’t like cream-filled desserts, I know the éclairs are famous here, so I wouldn’t mind giving this a shot.

Must for sweets in the area: *macarons, crunchy shell and chewy interior, favorites were the mocha, caramel & passionfruit *fruit tart was good, crust was more like a butter cookie consistency *nice ambiance, perfect place to go for a more upscale experience *opens out to patio seating, great option for warm SD nights If you’re getting the macarons for a gift, they carry quite well in the box and keep in the fridge for a week.

What a super cute place! My wife picked this place for our last breakfast in SD. She loves French pastries and it was naturally drawn to it. Inside, is a very tastefully decorated bakery/bistro. The pastry case is filled with tarts, macaroons and other buttery/flaky goodness. You can also take a menu to the self seating area. My wife ordered a brioche and a chocolate croissant. I tried both and they were so good. I decided on the toast with avocado and greens with two poached eggs. It was the perfect poached egg, I mean just beautiful. I suggest this meal for the perfect fix to a hangover(speaking from experience lol)! It was a little too cold to be outside but the outdoor seating is very tastefully done too. The fencing was draped in artificial turf. Something I’ve never seen before. Check them out, even for just a quick snack. We’ll be back for sure! Happy eating!

I was so surprised to see a super cute joint with a bunch of pastries and PUMPKINSPICE macarons! Yup, that definitely caught my eye. I couldn’t help but order a whole bunch of stuff! Lugi’s(sp) Macaron: It’s basically a giant macaron with pistachio cream filling and raspberries. Although separately everything was delicious, I feel like the overall components just didn’t complement each other. The macaron shell wasn’t too crispy or soggy – just right, and the raspberries were fresh and a delight to munch on. The pistachio cream was also very light and had just the right amount of sweetness. All together? It was slightly strange… Macarons: Vanilla– This was like vanilla ice cream, not the vanilla bean. I personally prefer the vanilla bean flavor, but bf liked this one. Caramel: The caramel flavor slowly crept up on me, increasing in intensity until my final swallow was a whole wave of butter-caramel goodness that lasted even after it was settled in my tummy. Involuntary smile and smacking of lips after. this was probably my favorite. Pistachio: I felt like this was more of an artificial pistachio flavor than the real deal, but it was still good. Not as exciting as the other flavors since it was a classic, but good. Peanut Butter: This was a very aggressive, in your face type of flavor. Starting from the get go, you pretty much get punched in the jaw by something akin to a Nutter Butter. VERY peanut-y and oh-so-delicious, assuming you like PB anyway(and if you don’t, why’d you get it?) Mint: This was my least favorite. I thought it’d be more of a mint cream, or a chocolate mint, but this was actually like… mint gel? Slightly bitter and just odd… I felt like I was eating chewy toothpaste. Not my favorite… would never get again. Pumpkin spice: Amazing flavor! I seriously felt like I was eating a pumpkin pie… sooooo good! I’m a huge pumpkin pie lover and this definitely hit the spot! Overall, all their macarons had great consistency in terms of shell texture and cream. They’re on pricier side compared to say, Lette as they are smaller in size, but absolutely worth it! I can’t wait to be back to try their other goodies… perhaps a coffee as well?

We stayed in walking distance to this ridiculously amazing restaurant. EVERYSINGLE person in San Diego NEEDS to go here. I assume that you all have tried eggs Benedict but have you had egg Benedict on a fresh danish? It will blow. your. mind. It must have been one of the best things I have ever eaten. The macarons were delicious. The service was great. Will definitely head back to Le Parfait Paris if I ever make it back to San Diego.

Reminiscent of our trip to Paris, Le Parfait is a small but bold taste of dessert decadence. Sleek and clean. Authentic and subtle. The perfect place to visit for an afternoon sweet treat and some bubbly. The menu is not overly done nor are the desserts. Everything is fresh and the coffee is rich and silky. Le Parfait is a delightful and classy patisserie. We are fans.

Forget Starbucks. This café is incredible. If I lived here, I would have stop myself from visiting a couple times a week. The coffee drinks are good and priced similarly to coffee chains. The atmosphere is modern chic and was very thoughtfully designed with large door windows and white tables. The employees were speaking French and the place has an authentic feel. The almond croissant and the pain chocolat au almond are their top sellers, sampling the latter I was in food heaven. The glaze is luxurious. Theres a chocolate and vanilla custard cream filling; the perfect ratio, wonderfully balanced with whole pastry. I enjoyed this so much I bought another to take home. I know I’ll be thinking about this dessert for years to come.

Very comfortable establishment. I was very impressed by the beautiful women that work here. I believe they are French. Anyway, they offer a great selection of French pastries and coffees. The breakfast items are very enticing. I ordered the eggs Benedict on a croissant with Canadian bacon and avocado. Simply delicious. Free and very good wifi. I had a deadline j needed to complete for work so it’s always nice to get a strong signal. Orders are placed and paid for at the counter. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to your needs. Great choice for good French breakfast or brunch.
