Lightscape Designs Inc.

I recently used Lightscape Design to fix a few problems with my outdoor lighting. I had previously had another company come out, but the were totally unreliable and never got the job done. I got Lightscape Design from a neighbor.
Mike and his crew were right on time. We went through the problems I was having, and explained everything thoroughly and completed the job the same day. He also cleaned up all my fixtures and ensured that everything was adjusted perfectly.
I highly recommend Mike and his company for both lighting installation and maintenance. It’s a pleasure to work with a contractor who is both reliable and conscientious.

We had our outdoor lighting installed by Lightscape Designs. They did a fabulous job. Mike Geier was wonderful. He is very easy to work with and we are so happy with his lighting design. The installation was painless. After they were finished with the installation, the yard was completely back to normal. I recommend Lightscape Design with a 5 Star Rating!!!

This is the first contractor I have used that warranted joining Unilocal to review him.
We have lived in San Diego for about 8 years and have used many contractors for various things. Some have been mediocre, a few bad, and even the good ones have always had some issues.
We had no issues with Mike Geier and Lightscape Designs, he did a fantastic job on our lighting, and went far above our expectations.
Our job was a decent sized one (about 75 lights) and we shopped around quite a bit and got several quotes. Mike was competitive but not cheaper than the others we met with. We ended up choosing him because we «got a good feeling» about his personality — no up-​sell, very straightforward with his itemized pricing, very instructive about the differences between different lights.
When they came out and did the install, he noticed that some of my older lights that we had left on the patio could be retrofitted to LED so he just went out and did it and put new bulbs in all of them (no charge!). They completed the install in the time they said they would, and Mike came out that night to check it out.
We had chosen a fairly unique light and it was not one he has installed before (and was a more expensive model). The first thing he said (we had already noticed this) when he arrive was that the lights didn’t work (were too bright from certain angles) and we should pull them. He then recommended several different (less expensive!) options and installed one of each for us to see them. After we chose one, they came out, replaced them, and gave us a credit for the less expensive lights (no extra charges for labor, no nickel and diming, nothing).
They also did some other electrical work and extra stuff to make the system run more smoothly that was not included in the quote he did not charge extra for.
This guy is honest, takes pride in his work, and does a great job.

We just finished a large outdoor lighting project with Mike Geier, and could not be happier with the results, the service, the price, the skill of Mike’s crew, and his attention to detail.
Mike actually made recommendations that saved us money (and lowered his fee for the job), by reducing the number of lights we thought we needed!
I would recommend Mike Geier to anyone who is looking to do outdoor lighting on their property. We already have him bidding on another residence we rent as a vacation rental!
