We recently came in to just look around, but we were so impressed with the quality furniture and friendly sales team, we ended up purchasing over $ 5k worth of furniture. Thanks to sales member, Nancy, for taking all our custom orders and taking care of logistics. Can’t wait for our new furniture

She finally got her stuff and in accordance with the contract (6−6−16).
It looks fabulous and she loves it.
They still gave her a horrible experience and I’ll never use them.

Having shopped at Jeromes and Mor in the past, Living Spaces was awesome. I was surprised to see all the negative reviews, that wasn’t my experience at all.
My fiancé and I bought a sectional and a rug and was very happy with the in store experience (no pushy salesman because they’re not commission). Delivery was great. Day before scheduled delivery, we received a 3 hour window and they showed up 15 minutes into that delivery and put everything together and were gone quickly. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I have purchased from them before and was very happy with the service; mistake I made was wanting to gift new furniture to my pregnant daughter and her husband who is in the Navy.
They cleaned out their living room for the delivery to be made that nite; never happened and did not receive a phone call to say they were not coming. My son-​in-​law had duty the next day and not to be home and we had no idea when the delivery would be made. Finally I called and it was to arrive at 8 pm; didn’t happen until after 9 pm.
I will never order from them again. When I did get ahold of Tia with their customer service she was rude and was blaming us for the time we placed the order; never mind that they called to verify the delivery address but did not bother to say it would not arrive that nite.
They are rude and never call back or email back either.

My husband and I Went into the store today just to look around and ended up ordering a custom sofa. I’m shocked to see the bad rating and reviews. Sounds like a lot of the problems occur with the delivery. Makes me happy I didn’t order delivery and that I am picking up.
The experience in the store was really great. I was greeted by a few employees and was shown the different sections. When we got into the sofa area I began looking for mid century modern styles and found a few of them to pick from. We were greeted by Roni & boy was he helpful. He explained things in detail to us about the different fabrics & styles. They have a ton of selection as far as the colors and types of fabrics. Every color possible was available. He says we should have the sofa ready for pickup in about two weeks. He clearly stated to us about the 25% restocking fee if we return it. Makes sense to me since it is a custom order. They also explain it while they check you out. You actually initial something that says 25% restocking fee if you don’t cancel by 8pm. I could tell my sales guy actually loved his job. He smiled a lot and was very knowledgable. He offered us refreshments and actually went and got it for us. We did purchase the vip insurance and he made it clear that this covers accidental damage. They give you a sheet with the explanation. I think it’s all in how you word it if you need to use it. Read the print carefully. I hope I never have to use it though.
Anyhow, I’m hoping that everything else will go as smoothly as today but after reading the reviews I am nervous. Fingers crossed.

I came here on the opening day and got a free accent chair when I use to live in Mission Valley. It’s been years since I’ve been back. This weekend my husband and I stopped in to look for 2 nightstands and 1 dresser. We were greeted at the front and immediately directed to the bedroom section of the store. This location is gigantic and has a huge selection for every room in your house plus all the décor to go with.
To make the shopping experience easier with a toddler, they provide these fun car shaped shopping strollers that kids can cruise through the store in while parents browse around.
We got to the bedroom section and were introduced to Trevis. He offered us water/​coffee/​cookies. We were in search for dark wood that matched our canopy bed from Jerome’s. The Marco set online looked totally different seeing it in person. I’m so glad I didn’t purchase that set its so short, small, and the drawers didn’t pull out nicely. We came across the Copenhagen set with the right measurements, dark wood color, style, and ended up getting it delivered that day.
Our Saturday same day delivery service was from 6p-​midnight. We ended up being the last delivery number 8 that night. If you go online you can track what times they deliver and arrive at previous locations. Rick and Richard showed up at 10:15p and were so quite delivering they didn’t wake up our sleeping toddler. The furniture was already assembled and ready to go they just lifted it up the stairs. Thanks for the perfect furniture, efficient delivery, and fast customer service.
I would definitely come back and make a purchase again.

Been to their store to look for furniture for our new home. Quality is very poor. The furniture is poorly made when you examine it up close, though looks great in the ads. After having read the service reviews and after seeing the social media teams responses to everyone, we definitely won’t be buying anything from here.

Actually, I had a similar experience as Meg. I purchased a sofa bed and got it delivered. LS couldn’t delivered it and place it on the room I needed it because of space issues. Ok, I had return to pick up something else that fit but I couldn’t find anything else.
I paid $ 800 in total with delivery. Since their policy stipulate that there is not reimbursement of the delivery fee ($ 99) plus 10% restocking, I’ve lost $ 163.
Great! Now, where are my $ 637?
I haven’t received my reimbursement. I returned the product on 5÷17÷16 and told that would take 3 days to show the money back in my bank account.
I actually like the furniture but their customer service and return policies can be greatly improved.

So let me start off by saying that they have nice people that work at Living Spaces, but nice only goes so far, I think the company just honestly doesn’t get customer service, or maybe they just don’t care. Or maybe we’ve been spoiled by the great customer service we’ve received from other San Diego furniture retailers, but if Living Spaces can’t step up their game then maybe they shouldn’t have a store in San Diego.
So we have been furnishing a new place and we purchased all new furniture and got about half from Living Spaces and the other half from Jerome’s. We scheduled both deliveries for the same day. The night before Jerome’s called and gave us an exact time they would show up and they actually showed up at that time! They had everything we ordered, assembled it all and were in and out in ~20 minutes. Living Spaces gave us a 3 hour window, showed up at the end of the window and one of the beds had the wrong parts. So they had to schedule a «rescue delivery», well when the mess up and need to come back to fix their mistake, the window goes from 3 hours to… 6 hours! So I was a little upset about it but I waited the 6 hours and NOTHING! I come to find out that someone at Living Spaces had decided to cancel the rescue delivery and reschedule for the next day. So I called and complained and got the new delivery window and then they changed that window too! Well that time didn’t work for me as I don’t just have time to sit around days on end waiting for Living Spaces to show up. Long story short, after 4 days they finally came to assemble the bed.
I spoke to a customer service manager, Gina, and she had little to nothing to offer but she would look into it and they would try to do better next time, her response was «sorry, but oh well». Well, I can’t see there being a next time. Living Spaces should just stick to Los Angeles, where apparently people put up with the crap. If you want furniture AND you want it delivered on time and in tact, then you should do yourself a favor and go to Jerome’s

2 stars because it’s great product at great prices and the service in store was great. The issue was the getting of purchases!
Delivery cost $ 100 with 2 time frames
8am-​3 or 12pm to 6 Mon-​Fri.
Weekends are an extra $ 30.
Customer service assured me not to worry as I’d receive a call to narrow the time the day before delivery.
Instead, I got an Automated message informing me my delivery will be from 12 – 3.
This time Customer service said that I had:
–Zero input.
–That the people whom I had previously spoken to weren’t honest with me
–And that the salesperson at the store probably just wanted to «close the sale»
Furthermore, a new delivery date would incur a 2^nd charge and if I canceled the order it would also incur a re-​stocking fee, apparently for all the inconvenience I’ve given them!
In the end, my husband left work early to receive the couch which… wait for
It…arrived at 11:00am.

I had recently had purchased my new furniture set from here… And I am in love! I’ve been stocking it online for a while now, and I’m glad I was able to go in and take a look at it, before fully committing.
The lady who helped me was really patient. I ask lots and lots of questions, and she was willing to answer all of them. She was able to reassure me, that this is what I wanted, and it was a great price for my budget.
I told her the size of my room, and she literally went to go and look for a tape measure, just so she could measure the space for me. Awesome right?!
She gave me ideas on how I should layout the room with the bedroom pieces, which I didn’t really agree with at first, but ended up loving the idea after she had measured the room.
Everything here is at a reasonable price! And it’s so cute. They pair most of their furnitures, so you’ll have an idea what goes with what… Which I loved!
Seriously great costumer service! They were not pushy at all… Unlike other future stores out there!

I really hate having to write a bad review. But out of all of my bad reviews I’ve ever written, this one is absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. My wife and I purchased 2 end chairs for our dining room table that I recently built. We were unsure if it was the right one for us. The store saleswoman stated that if we find another chair elsewhere, as long as we cancel our order prior to pick up or delivery, we would not be charged.
So we found the chair elsewhere. We called the call center and we spoke with «HECTOR». He advised us that there is a 25% charge for cancelling our order. He also stated that we would have to call tomorrow since our order had not processed yet. We were frustrated and asked for a manager or a lead call taker. Hector refused and said that there are no supervisors at the call center. We were so frustrated, we even advised him that he is really pushing us to file a BBB complaint and write a bad Unilocal review. He stated that we were «frustrating» and that he was hanging up now.
We drove to the store and asked for a manager. We spoke with Osbaldo who was a salesman and he confirmed that what HECTOR stated was incorrect. He called the call center and asked for Hector. When Hector picked up he asked Hector to transfer him to a lead call taker. Osbaldo was able to get through to «Treaty», a lead call taker. She was able to refund our money without any fees. She also confirmed that what Hector stated was a lie. Thanks to Hector, we are writing another 1 star review for Living Spaces. We are also never coming back to Living Spaces to shop for furniture. I shouldn’t have to drive 30 minutes back to the store just to talk to a manager.

We went to the Mission Valley location yesterday after finding a sectional we liked online. It was supposed to be available but when we arrived they said it’s only available to order. The gentlemen who helped us provided us with incorrect measurements of the sectional as well. We paid for next day weekend delivery ($ 130) and set the time for 0800 – 1500. Today we checked our delivery status only to see that it’s been moved to the last delivery estimated between 1600 – 2000. I immediately called their customer service who proceeded to argue with me that was our set time. When I explained that she was incorrect and it was printed on my receipt for the morning delivery, she put me on hold. The CS proceeded to then tell me that they were overbooked and all they could do was offer me a refund of half my delivery fee. I was not satisfied with this, as it means I still have to spend basically 12 hours waiting for my delivery, thus wasting my whole Sunday when I could have completed many errands. I asked for a supervisor and they were all «busy» and would call me back within 24hours. No matter what we are stuck waiting for an 8pm delivery. If it wasn’t such a good price we would have just purchased it on Amazon and not dealt with such terrible customer service!
Wow a manager called me back at 4pm that we are the first stop… and the truck just left Rialto, Ca and will arrive in 60 minutes. Um…90 miles and a scales stop and they will be here in 60 minutes? They must have a Cessna delivering sofas! They also can’t guarantee delivery in the 60 minutes they promised as it is just the dispatcher’s eta. They will refund my delivery charges in 3 – 5 days according to Ashley Smith — «the only Ashley in corporate».
Amazing that the sectional was available here in San Diego and it turns out it’s not even in the county.

Miguel was very helpful and patient with us. He showed us options and items that we didn’t quite see ourselves. He was accurate with pricing and very knowledgable. Keep up the good work!

I bought a couch from this Living Spaces location on ³⁄₁₉. My boyfriend and I were just «browsing» and a store associate really helped us find a couch that fit our exact needs. Our experience in the store was incredible which lead us to purchase our couch on the spot. We custom ordered the color we wanted and left the store feeling really excited!
Then I read all of these reviews. I was horrified that my couch was going to be delivered late or not fit or show up in the wrong color. So I spent the last week and a half stressed about the possible outcome not matching the same excitement I felt in the store.
To my surprise living spaces called me last night to schedule my delivery for this morning. My delivery window was 10:30am-1:30pm. I received a call at 9:15am that my delivery was next!!! Wow! Not only did I receive my couch 3 days early but the delivery was early!!! We LOVE our couch and whole experience was AMAZING.

I bought a mattress from this place and the sales person told me it came with a one month return guarantee.
My room mate was standing beside me when he said it.
Turns out I hate the mattress I can feel the springs right through the mattress pad so I called them to come pick up the mattress and I would buy a different one.
Not surprised the lady from living spaces says to me «sir you only have a one week guarantee so you can not return it»
I am sooooo sick and tired of being screwed over by companies that take your money and then don’t care once they have your hard earned cash !!!
If I had checked the Unilocal rating before I shopped there this would never have happened

Since our second recliner broke we have called and called and called. Finally got an appointment for Sunday (after having the parts for 3 weeks sitting in my living room) and I was waiting for the confirmation call today, Saturday. Since I received no call I called to confirm. Turns out we weren’t even scheduled to have someone come out even though we told that we were.
So again our couch has been broken for a little over 8 months. We consistently call and they consistent dodge our calls or say they schedule appointments but dont…
Let’s see if someone comes out within the next 8 months… DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Just wasted my money on a couch I’ll never see. After spending four hours with one of the salesmen, it was time to pay for my special order couch. When I asked «what happens if this couch doesn’t fit in the elevator to my apartment building?» I was told «don’t worry, we will take care of it!» Well «taking care of it» means absolutely nothing, other than taking my money. I was charged the 25% restocking fee, and the salesman was not held accountable for what he told me. Don’t lie to your customers!
And shame on you Living Spaces for offering me 10% off on my next order for «the trouble». It was not trouble, it was a blatant lie. And one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

…“once more into the breach”
Yes, despite our last experience we decided to buy from LS again. Why? Possible answers: 1) I was drunk 2) I like to torture myself 3) they suck less than the other cardboard furniture stores? This time they arrived with our new bedroom set 3 hours late. Broke down truck they said. Luckily, two pieces only had to be unwrapped but the bed assembly took over an hour. Upon completion one of the guys sweatily declared: «whew, that was tough. we NEVER spend that much time putting a bed frame together»! We shook hands and they left. At first glance it appeared they did a good job until my wife remarked: «isn’t that leg on backwards»? Sure enough, not only were TWO legs on backwards — there were nearly a half dozen screws and bolts missing/​never installed. WTF?!
Immediately drove over to their store in Mission Valley and was helped out by Carlos (the one bright spot in this whole fiasco) who was able to provide all the missing parts and even refunded us the $ 90 delivery/​set-​up fee. That made this hurt a bit less even though I had to spend 2 hours taking the bed apart and then putting it back together the right way! You are hereby demoted to 2 stars and I think we’re done for good Living Spaces.

Was looking for a clean-​looking, classic sofa for a media room and found the offerings at Living Spaces hard to beat. The couch I wanted had nothing but great reviews and the no-​quibble fabric protection plan they offer really beats the competition in a major way. We looked at other furniture stores but could not beat the price in concert with the fabric protection. It was like a no-​brainer for us.
The online service is fast, I ordered it late one night and it was delivered by courteous company delivery guys the following morning.
