I have not bought from him yet but I’ve talked to him twice now and tried out his amps at the Spring Harp Fest. He is interesting knowledgeable and can rework the hell out of an old tube amp. He has good prices and he will be my first stop when its time to repair or buy something new and interesting.

I took my blackstar ht stage 60 combo in for a repair. It was makin a loud buzzing sound and the clean Channel sounded dead with a lack of volume. Lyle was very friendly and helpful. He did some excellent work for a very fair price and in a timely manner. The amp sounds amazing and I could not be happier with the outcome. Im very glad to say that I will be bringing all of my amps to lone wolf for mods and repairs. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

I had a horrible sounding carvin head that I was considering selling. Before I did, I decided to see if it could be modded. Lyle took my head and modded it to sound amazing!!! I even had another issue with it, which he repaired free of charge! Lyle is the man and truly knows his stuff! I will never go anywhere else for any of my repairs! You shouldn’t either!

This guy was awesome! I brought him my Guild T-​100 to have him look at the electronics (was over 50 years old). Not only did he clean the sound up for me, he was able to provide some great insight to amp/​cab matching and really has a great understanding of the bridge between music and technology. Would definitely recommend and trust him with any electronic work for my setup.

Lyle (Mr Lone Wolf) diagnosed, repaired and performed customization to my audio Tube Amplifier with great expertise and skill. He researched my particular Tube audio amplifier and even drew up his own schematic diagrams to represent my exact model. His work was accurate, very thorough, and completely explained all of findings and upgrades with me.
