This taco shop is the worst taco shop ever. went for a California burrito, in return I came out with a skimpy burrito with egg Inside of it. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog if I had one

This review is solely for the fish taco — on Sundays, they have $ 1 fish tacos here(normally $ 1.99). These tacos are huge, tasty, and overall the best food deal I’ve experienced in San Diego. These things knock the socks off of Taco Bell, and are comparable to the better Mexican food joints in SD, albeit being 2 times larger. I can get full off three tacos :0 Definitely recommend coming here!

This absolutely great. The king burrito is to die for and the rolled tacos are always wonderful. We also got the California burrito, breakfast burrito, and quesadilla. All are great!

This place is awesome. Prices are excellent and they’re usually open pretty late. The cook everything to order. My favorites are the bean and cheese Barito at Grace I also like the hot carrots and a cheese quesadilla. Portions are huge. This place is a little gym hole in the wall. I’d like to take all my friends here that come from out of town.

This is our go to Mexican take out in North PB! Carne asada is always clean. The surf and turf burrito and the renegade burritos are my husband and My favorite. The tortillas are delish, so just getting a quesadilla is awesome… Add shrimp and it’s even better. They will even make you cheese French fries!!! They make everything to order and they make it fast! Late night MUST

I’m surprised at all the top notch reviews. People must have very low bars for quality food. I mean it’s OK and all and very convenient with decent prices. but not anything to rave about unless you dont know any better. I like their rolled tacos and quesadllas and carrots but the rest is just so so. Used to eat there a lot but after getting sick twice and a roomie once. I’ve pretty much stopped. Last I saw they stored their commercial size crates of eggs in a shed without refrigeration and the eggs for the day are in a pan under the griddle. Hopefully this practice has changed. it would be worth checking into if you are having something with eggs in it.

Wow the fish tacos are good here. Definitely not on the low calorie side, one actually filled me up. Inside the presumed house made soft corn tortilla, the fish is fried, a healthy dollop of chipotle mayonnaise is accompanied by finely diced tomatoes, cabbage and cilantro. Really tasty and filling The chili relleno definitely had a heat element that hit the spot as did the cheese enchilada. The chips were fried, perhaps double fried and can out warm. I was feeling«healthy» today while on vacation eating Mexican fast food so I ordered a side of carrots. Holy cow were they good. Mixed with some spices I can not pinpoint, sliced thin and soaked with jalapeño juice, they were surprisingly addictive. Cash only. ATM on site. Limited outdoor seating. No dogs allowed.

HANDSDOWN!!! The best nachos I EVER had INMYLIFE!!! I think the meat is perfectly seasoned, they don’t cheat you in the guacamole and all of the toppings on top of it, amazing amazing amazing! Each time I find my self in San Diego I always make my way here!

Ordered some fish tacos and carne asada fries here. Prices are decent, service was fast. The amount of fries was smaller than expected but then it was also cheaper. Also was served with yogurt instead of sour cream. Not bad, just different. The meat itself was flavorful but was chopped super small. It’s ok for a quick bite if you want Mexican.

So my homies and I stopped by this place at night and I ordered a California burrito. my California burrito came with eggs. Where else do you find a place where they put eggs in their California burrito? No one told me about the eggs in the burrito and there wasn’t even a sign that indicated it. I got home that night 10 minutes later and I almost puked. Also, the burrito did not come with Guacamole or sour cream. A Cali burrito there is NOT a real California burrito. I’m so disappointed. 2 stars are given only because my friends seemed to enjoy the sauce.

After eating here, I REALLY wanted to give it a great rating. The flavors were awesome, portions were big, and prices were really low. 99 cents for a fish taco on Sundays! Between 2 people, we ordered the ceviche, carne asada tostada, and a couple of fish tacos. The ceviche was extremely flavorful, and the carne asada tostada was really good as well. Wish the tostada came with guac or avocado, but it’s just my preference — still tasted good without it. And the fish tacos were made with tilapia that was super crunchy on the outside and moist inside. Loved it. BUT…I ended up getting food poisoning. I’ve been suffering for a day and a half, regretting my choice to eat here over Oscar’s down the street. Of course, this was probably just an unfortunate and uncommon incident, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt — hence the 3 stars. When I work up the courage to come back here, I’ll update my review to hopefully something better.

After hearing a girl at work rave about the bean and cheese burritos here, I had to find out for myself. I rolled up here, parked in the little lot, and walked in to the most fattening, tasty-smelling little shop, it seriously smelled like the most bomb enchiladas ever. Mmmm, Mexican food… so my B&C is ready quickly and I grabbed both red and green salsa and head home to feast. The burrito was solid.(I actually like my go-to place better, but this was still good), and the salsas were both pretty PICANTE and I looove my food spicy. So while I wouldn’t go out of my way to hit this place up(well, maybe to see if their enchiladas lived up to their tasty smell…), it was a win for hole in the wall Mexican goodness. Cash only.

This review is strictly for their California burrito. The cali burrito is the first meal I’ve eaten in San Diego and I’ll make sure it’s my last one too. A delicious combination of carne asada and French fries is simply the bomb. The Los Dos Cali burrito is breakfast style. They work in the hash browns and eggs instead of French fries. It’s good. But I’ll take a cali burrito breakfast style from Taco Surf over this guy. I’ll be back for something different.

Los Dos Pedros is the BEST mexican place I’ve found so far in san Diego. Oscar’s next door offers grilled fish tacos, which LDP doesn’t, that’s really the only reason to not eat at Los Dos. Their fish tacos are decent sized, always come with fresh avocado and their green sauce is perfect(pretty hot). I have NEVER had a quesadilla that is even close to competing with Los Dos. Often cheese quesadillas are dripping of soft cheese and fat, but not this one! Price is great, cheaper fish tacos on Sundays which is great for hangovers!

— Locale Destination — It’s on Turquoise St and between La Jolla Mesa Dr & Wrelton Dr in La Jolla, San Diego. It’s a tiny little shop with yellow and orange stripes — there’s no seating inside, outside only. Seating area is a little bigger than the shop itself. Seating and décor are very casual and old. Inside is very small — barely have a room for 2 people in front of the counter. The kitchen inside is super tiny. Cash only! ATM at the outside seating area with a shade! Very quick service. No line unlike the next door«Oscar’s Mexican seafood» — the fish taco had the similar price yet the quality isn’t as good as «Oscar’s». — Gluttony Expedition — Fish tacos: Fried fish with a little crunchier batter and less«freshness(of the ingredient quality)» than the one at «Oscar’s». It’s OK — especially after I tried the fish tacos at «Oscar’s Mexican Seafood»… Nothing special about the sauces, either — both green and spicy sauces. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Nothing special. That’s not good enough to bring me back. I tried here, just because it might be a possible option to avoid the long line and wait for«Oscar’s Mexican Seafood» right next to here. It wasn’t :p
