White pizza was really good but veggie pizza was uneatable. Not sure how a pizza can be soggy AND burned but it was. Not very many veggies either. Driver didn’t even have red pepper. Kinda bummed since I spent $ 45.

The pizza is good. It’s a little pricey and it would be worth it if we didn’t have to wait for a hour for our supreme pizza! An HOUR guys? Really? Are you making the cheese from scratch for every order? Lol. If it had taken 25 minutes as the kid had told us when we paid then we’d definitely be back… now. safer bet ordering from next door :/

My go-to Italian place! I order from here off of eat24 at least once a month. Their pizzas are a good thin crust and so tasty! Definitely the best delivery pizza in the area. Their calzones are not only delicious but HUGE. Basically a whole pizza folded in half. They always provide a good amount of sauce with their food. Another item I love is their antipasto salad. Everything is in equal balance, nothing comes up short and it has very strong flavors. I have nothing to complain about. They never get my order wrong and everything comes in a timely manor.

Best pizza in the area. Vegetarian pizza, flavorful sauce, not too much cheese, fresh crust. I would like more veggies, but the crust is on the regular-to-thin side, so it’s probably better this way. The veggies are super flavorful. Olives and mushrooms are amazing. Next time I’ll try plain pepperoni. It’s going to be amazing! Very friendly. Not too expensive. Worth the price. It’s good cold too. Forget the salad though. It’s just ripped up iceberg with some tomatoes, cucumbers and olives. The ranch isn’t the«good ranch.»

We decided to give this place a try after receiving a flyer/menu on our door. What a pleasant surprise! Their lasagna was fantastic! The ingredients were fresh, it was well seasoned & was more authentic than the chain restaurants! On top of that, the service was phenomenal! The entire experience was so good that we called Stevan, the Chef to personally thank him! We can’t wait to try their pizza next!

Why da fuq would anyone choose Papa John’s or Little Caesar’s over this? And why da fuq would anyone need three different pizza options in the same shopping center? I came in because I wanted a slice of pizza. The basic slice comes with cheese and 50¢ per additional topping. I was pleased with the serving size and quality. Although Nonno’s is La Mesa’s best pizza, this is second best. You can come here on Monday when Nonno’s is closed and you can order online. Papa John’s and Little Caesar’s is for poor people. That is all. Now who finna pizza and chill?

Stopped by to grab me a slice of pizza and a coke. It was 11:55am and they opened at 11am so I thought they’d have a pie already made but no so I waited for 10 minutes. I’m glad I did because the pizza was fresh and hot. There’s a few tables if you wanna dine in. I was a little disappointed because on Unilocal someone said that the fountain drinks were the best. Unfortunately, they no longer have a fountain drink machine with ice so I had to settle for a can coke. :( The pizza was alright and the crust was a little mushy. I’ll give this place another try and eat other items on their menu. The sandwiches looks delicious.

I’m not a fan of buying burgers or mexican food from a pizzeria, but my boyfriend and I happen to try this place and must I say their bacon cheeseburgers were so delicious! You could tell they were fresh off the stove, their fries are amazing as well. Liked it so much we ordered again just a few days later! Great place awesome food!

Quick daytime delivery using the ordering system here on Unilocal to my office. The carne asada pizza was great. Honestly I had no idea what to expect but it was terrific. Quality ingredients, a good sauce on my pepperoni pizza also.

So, here goes! I want to say that normally they make awesome pizza. That being said, today they did NOT bring their A game. I ordered a large pizza and cheesy bread, then waited an hour for it to arrive. When it did arrive, they had forgotten to include the ranch dressing despite me reminding them over the phone to PLEASE include it. The pizza was DESTROYED, it appeared that it was either dropped, or the pizza was rested on it’s side for a great length of time. The cheesy bread looked great, but several bites in I discovered a long hair baked into it. The delivery driver politely apologized(super nice guy btw) and offered to bring us another pizza, but the person answering the phone at Maldini’s said it was too late and they did not want to send us another pizza to replace it. My girlfriend then asked for a refund, to which their phone operator argued with her for several minutes before finally reluctantly agreeing. I wish things had been different, and Maldini’s had several opportunities to make things right, but they did not wish to pursue them. I do NOT normally review things. In fact, this is my first review ever and I am almost 30 years old. I made this Unilocal account SPECIFICALLY to post this review and highlight what a complete failure at customer service they displayed tonight. Cheers! –Hungry and Sad

We were here on vacation and ordered from here three times during our stay. The pizza is delicious(reminds me of New York). The delivery people were courteous and prompt. I’m going to miss them.

Got the supreme 16′ pizza and 10 wings. I’m a New Yorker and we are critical on our pizza. The positives were a decent crust and lots of toppings. The sauce was a little suspect. Big props for the hot wings though– actually had me sweating a little, and the chicken was decent. But guys — who eats wings with ranch dressing???

I have tried using these guys twice thru grubhub. the first time delivery time was 90 minutes and then they never showed. I called and they said they were out of the ingredients for one order so didn’t bother fulfiiling the order or calling! Gave them another chance. Delivery time 90+ minutes! Then never showed again AND never answered phone. absolutely unprofessional, a joke.

I decided to order some food and they recommended the buffalo chicken pizza which is new to the menu. I went ahead and got the pizza and also ordered 10 hot wings, bread sticks with cheese and a 12 inch mushroom pizza for my little brother and sister. My first bite of the buffalo chicken pizza had my taste buds begging for more, the bread sticks with cheese was amazing and when I dipped it in the marinara sauce the taste was out of this world. My brother and sister seemed to love the mushroom pizza which was good cause they are extremely picky about their food. The wings were one of the best wings I’ve ever had and unlike the wings at dominos they were actually pretty beefy. I am very satisfied with this amazing food and I will definitely be coming back!

Delicious pizza and experience! Steve’s customer service superb! They make their dough and sauce fresh every day and you can taste the freshness. It was prepared with pride and I was so impressed, I took a photo of my husband’s supreme pizza. We will definitely return on a regular basis. I’m 100% gluten free and am very particular, they also make the GF dough which is slightly sweet, but delicious as well. Thank you for hearing me ask my husband if he would share the salad. Steve brought out an extra plate and fork. Two thumbs up

Stopped here by chance. Tried the Italian torpedo and split it with my 2 year old daughter. It’s was one of the best sandwiches I have tried in a long time. The guy at the front counter was very friendly. I will be checking this place out next time I want to eat some pizza in San Diego. The prices here are reasonable and I’m am glad I gave this restaurant a chance. If you are looking for the best sandwich in San Diego give this place a try! Can’t wait for the next time I come here!!!

We ordered delivery through eat24. We got a large, thin crust pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni, onion rings, and garlic bread. Everything came hot and faster than promised. We used the coupon for a $ 4.99 large, one topping pizza, a great deal. They give you a choice between three types of crust and there was a fairly large variety of toppings as well. The onion rings were really good actually, not the frozen kind that you typically get at a pizza place. These I would order again for sure. The garlic bread I was told was delicious, it looked perfectly baked. The delivery guy was very friendly and courteous. I would order again from here.

In my best Bahstonnn accent impression just to add some flowerful visual to this review, «we’ve been on a real pizza bendahhh…» I’m happy to report I think this bendahh stops here! This place is the bomb! We ordered a 16″, hand tossed, half pepperoni, black olive, and sausage, and half grilled chicken with meatball. $ 23 and worth every penny. 25 minute quick turn around, and made with true family down home heart. A damn good pie, and topped off with excellent service!

When it comes to pizza, I seldom order out anymore. However, this newer pizza joint piqued my interest when I saw that they offered a Carne Asada pizza as well as my old favorite, the«white» pizza. So ultimately I had to break away from SOP(Standard Operating Procedures) and give them a shot. I walked in on Saturday about 7:00 and the place was dead, not a soul inside other than the people working there. It probably doesn’t help that it is in a strip mall in which it is right next door to Dominos and about 500 feet away from Papa John’s. The inside of the place wasn’t necessarily as clean/new looking as I would have expected but then I remembered that it was a pizza joint. The woman working the counter(who made the pizzas) was extremely friendly and informative. I asked her if it was possible to make a half Carne Asada & half White 16″ pizza on thick crust($ 17.99). She informed me that it was. Apparently certain combinations are more problematic to do half & half on. Top complete the order, I also ordered some cheese bread($ 4.99). The food only took about 15 – 20 minutes so the turnaround time was relatively quick. The pizza turned out well and honestly tasted really good. The meat on the Carne Asada pizza had a lot of flavor, combined with guacamole and salsa, really did a great job completing the full gamut of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised. I was equally, if not even more impressed with the flavor of the white pizza. The only disappointing aspect of the Carne Asada pizza was that the pictures show the pizza topped with slices of whole avocados and the one in which I received(pictured) was topped with guacamole. Not that the taste would have been impacted much at all but it would have been a nice touch. Neither pizza seemed overly greasy and the crust came out great as did the cheese bread. Overall I was really pleased with Maldini’s. My only gripe and this is universal across the board for most pizza places that aren’t part of a major chain, is that even though they are«gourmet» pizzas, i.e., not just cheese and/or pepperoni, that you are paying upwards to to $ 17+ for a 16″ pizza in which I can pretty much eat all by myself. However, with that said, it definitely won’t stop me from indulging occasionally when I get that craving to break away from the cheaper, ordinary, store bought, «take & bake» pizza. I’m also quite curious to try one of their sandwiches as well. To conclude, overall this is a cool little pizza place that offers some pretty cool pizza combinations.
