McDonald’s

I have been here several times in the last 4 months and have seen the service decline to the worst service I have EVER seen! Just an example: I went through the drive-​thru today and in the entire 14:27 minutes I was in line (yes, I timed it — I used to be a secret shopper) not one crew member said hello, how are you, or any other greeting. In fact, when I got my food the crew member walked away without asking if we wanted ketchup or anything. When I told him I wanted ketchup he handed me ONE packet! I actually had to ask for more and he gave me a big sigh and gave it to me. No thank you, no smile, no service. I will NEVER go to this McDonald’s again!

Disappointed tonight. Hot fresh crispy fries, without a grain of salt on them. Just hand me a raw potato next time-​same flavor.
Sometime last year, McDonald’s switched back to fried apple pies. Delicious. Crispy and hot. I ordered an apple pie tonight and got a baked apple pie.
McDonald’s, YOUR BAKED PIES SUCK!!! They have always sucked. They are not delicious. They are what I call wastes calories. There is no such thing as a healthy apple pie. Tonight was the very last time I ever buy a McDonalds pie again.
You have lost your identity with your ridiculous menu.

Review for january 18, 9:45 am crew, another less than desired service for the drive through, ordered 2 deluxe breakfasts, as usual theres always something missing, like no utensils, no condiments like butter, salt, syrup etc. Too bad this is the closest mcdonalds in our area, they need to retrain their crew or get new management.

Okay, you should not be ordering fast food on Christmas, but I was hungry & the food was not ready. But also, you should not order fast food on a holiday because chances are, not a lot of people are ordering food so you may be getting an old batch.
Fries — Stale, soggy, but they did give me a lot.
McChicken — Stale.
Fish Filet — Bun was hard!
McNuggets — Stale.

So dissappointed that the McDonald’s all day breakfast menu does not include the Bacon, egg, and cheese McBiscuits. When ordering the chicken McNuggets, they did not have honey McMustard sauce. Not my morning, however, I was happy to see the double cheeseburger on the dollar McMenu.

I used to work at McDonald’s for five years. So, I know when they are screwing me over. When I asked for fries and my hot and spicy chicken meal fresh i know it takes at least 3 minutes. There is also an unmistakable taste of grease, when you just stick already made fries back in the grease to heat them up! They handed me the bag and said the fries were fresh and the chicken sandwiches were fresh when in reality the chicken sandwiches were rubbery and the fries tasted like pure grease!
Ladies and gentlemen if you ask at any McDonald’s to have your meal made fresh they are obligated to do so for you, provided you wait an extra few minutes. If you get that meal ”fresh” in less then under a minute, they are lying to you.

I have frequented this McDonalds location for near 8 years. Can’t recall my fri s being cold, and they always get my order correct. Friendly employees, up to standard with the rest in my opinion.

It’s a McDonald’s. You know what to expect for food. I liked that they let me pay by tapping my phone. Android pay was easy.

I think this McDonald’s must be the worst location in San Diego, the higher prices you pay here for the poor quality, long lasting lines, not so great customer service and unprofessionalism, is HORRIBLE.
There egg mcmuffins are stale and old tasting and they are about $ 1 or more expensive than other mcdonalds. I’ve tried them out 4 times hoping they would get better, nope. The lines are ridiculous and long moat of the time compared to others. There has been a young male there the lay few months or more and he sounds miserable when taking your order, you can tell he hates his job and I even heard him and the manager (an Asian lady) arguing and yelling at each other one time, everyone who drove up to get there food could hear them. It was extremely unprofessional and I even said something at the last window and the girl was embarrassed.
Go down the street to the McDonald’s on Miramar rd and you will see a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE! The service is excellent, the lines are so quick in the morning I can always rely on getting my coffee before work and there food tastes fresh! Lol it’s really sad how poor the management is at the Mira mesa location, they need a HUGE reputation re-​do because I will never go there again and neither does my boyfriend anymore.

Quality of food was way below the quality of typical McDonalds. We received fries that seemed to have a strong taste of spoiled meat? and had a foul smell. The whole restaurant was unclean. The people at the cashier are always cold and unwelcoming. The only spot of light is the elder lady who cleans the place. Even if the place is unclean, she is the only one smiling at customers, and helps wherever she can. Not our cup of tea.

Worst McDonald’s ever! Slow and they can’t seem to cook food right. Only positive — good location.

I usually go through the drive thru when coming here but today I decided to eat in and treat my son to a happy meal… And um YUCK! This place needs a serious cleaning. There are so many flies!!! Near the soda machine, and seating areas. My son even spotted what looked like a baby roach crawling near the register area. I’m so disgusted.

The service here stinks. There was a line and the workers were just laughing and chillin. Also they are very stingy with their sauces. My sister asked for 2 ranches and didn’t mind paying but the manager specifically said «I’ll give you one.» I rarely come to McDonalds but whenever I go, the service always sucks.

Surprisingly this staff is very nice
I usually stop by when I’m feeling broke and hungry. You can’t expect much from a fast food place.
I always get a deluxe meal. Pancakes, sausage, biscuit, bacon and hash brown included! For 4.99 I think?! Cheap!!!
I like orange juice but the McDonalds OJ isn’t one of my favorite things.
Lots of parking and on the back of your receipt you can get a free child pass to Legoland with a purchase of an Adult ticket. Also there is a new sign on the drive thru that states only a 60 second or less wait for lunch or your money back!!!

Shift Manager Jeorge wasn’t it best customer service, asking for extra cup to share a hot chocolate for my daughter said they charge the extra $ cup as the same price when you order it. Who would’ve ask for empty cup with the charge??? dumb :/

This McDonald’s sucks! Nothing but rude Asians that work here. Especially the woman asian manager. Also, the mexican worker that cleans is rude.

I’ve never dined in at this location and I swear this has only been my second time driving thru since my wife wanted their new bundt cakes for dessert after dinner… Let’s just say she was happy and so was I. Their bundt cakes are freaking delicious! Our server at the window was friendly and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes!

Bad McDonalds. One of the worst ones.
Orders are usually wrong or half done. I usually come later at night when I’m there alone sometimes, and the order is still wrong — diet coke is regular high sugar coke, and jalapeño double is a jalapeño single, but I don’t discover this until I get home and open the bag.

Yeah, yeah, I am actually going to review this particular McDonald’s location. Sue me.
This McDonald’s should have a third window in the drive-​thru, to exchange all the wrong items received at the second window.
Filet-​o-​fish and large fries somehow ended up two double cheeseburgers, 10 piece Mcnuggets and small fries. C’mon!
I knew by the weight of the bag I had the wrong order. Why oh why didn’t I look in the bag before driving off?
It can’t be this complicated to get drive-​thru orders correct.
The real reason for only 1-​star is the ice cold and stale fries. That was the real crime.

This McDonalds is located near Chase and the shopping center with Seafood City. I’m guilty of loving McDonalds and I frequently go to this location on my way home from work. There’s drive thru and play center. Service is pretty fast. I would say the food is fresher when it’s the busy hours.
Driving out of the drive thru can be a pain during rush hour. There are some nice people who will let you go through :)
