2.5 stars Came here pre grocery shopping in the morning. I don’t usually eat at McDonalds unless I’m traveling and on the go, but because i had a coupon for free combo(coffee and hash browns) with purchase of breakfast sandwich deal in the mail i decided to stop in. Damn i guess advertising does work! Ordered the sausage McMuffin with egg meal and handed her the coupon. It came out to be like $ 4, i was like oh I have the coupon. she said, yes thats just the price of the sandwich. Wow what happened to 2 for $ 2.22 and then 2 for $ 3.50? Shows you how long i haven’t been to McDonalds! I was glad to pay $ 4 for the whole meal but there’s no way I’d pay full price. Not only have the prices gone up, but everything has gotten 20 — 25% smaller! So tiny! The breakfast sandwich and hash browns looks so small in my hand. I don’t mind charging more or making the product smaller but not both at once! But maybe its just that i haven’t been there for so long that, thats how things are now. Oh well things change. Still a tasty breakfast sandwich just smaller. Remember when a Pizza hut large was 16 inches? Their current Large used to be their medium pizza. Guess thats how it goes. Strange how the fries and the drinks go the other way, remember when the now Regular(small) size fries were the large fries? and what used to be the small fries is now the child size fries?

Ordered in the drive thru tonight and waited in line for 20 minutes. They forgot my breakfast sausage burrito and my Quarter Pounder was not plain — just the meat cheese and bun — like I explicitly stated 3 times when ordering. It had EVERYTHING on it. Now I’m sitting at home ready to eat and I’m not happy at all. Terrible experience. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I do not come to McDonald’s often, but when I do it’s usually for some of their breakfast items. This time around I ordered a cup of coffee, a Sausage Egg McMuffin, and a golden brown hash brown. The sausage egg McMuffin was typical, in that it was good. The single egg was well cooked; just needed a little seasoning, which I took care of with a little black pepper. The sausage patty was warm all the way through and savory, the American cheese melted, and the English Muffin warm and moist. It was just what mu stomach ordered. The hash brown, although it was a little oily, tasted good and was crispy the way it should be. It was lightly seasoned and good to eat with some ketchup. The coffee was what I expected from McDonald’s in that it was robust and a little harsh. I ate on the patio and it was a little disappointment there because at least two thirds of the tables and chairs still had morning dew on them so dry clean seating was limited. Service at the ordering counter was friendly enough.

Went here on a limited time lunch break to use my free sandwich coupon on my newly downloaded iPhone app. When they scanned the coupon it came back as «conditions on offer are not met» the drive-thru attendant says to me «it’s not working because you used the coupon before». I tell her I never used the coupon before and even showed her on the phone that if you hit the back button it gives you a new code to try again. She calls the manager over and the manager accuses me of having used the coupon before as well. They did not honor the coupon. I worked at Mc Donald’s 3 years so, I know they could have just promo’d the sandwich and I’d be a happy customer. They not only didn’t satisfy the customer they accused the customer of doing something wrong. That’s just poor management and horrible customer service. The customer is always right. I did not appreciate being accused of lying. Nor did I appreciate not being able to use a corporate coupon or the time I wasted going to this poorly managed location on my lunch break. The manager should be fired.

This was depressing. Went and bought a delux plater and extra hashbrown and sausage mc muffin and came home to no sausage and only one hashbrown… And it even shows on the receipt what I ordered. I had to drive back and complain because they wouldn’t pick up my phone call. They re made my order and said I gave you extra hashbrown. Like really?.. I payed for that extra hashbrown. So I have two now, u gave me nothing. Bad experience. And waste of time and gas.

I work for a major motorcycle company down the street, which employs many people. We literally go to this McDonald’s every morning or afternoon… and EVERYTIME, the order is incorrect! Will we ever learn? I hope so. What I should be asking is, will they ever hire competent employees? Will they ever get an order correct? Here’s an example from just this morning. First off, they did not include an item in the bag and we had to go back and get it. Secondly, we ordered an 2 egg McMuffins with egg & cheese only, no sausage, no ham. What we received was 2 egg McMuffins with only egg & sausage, no cheese. The interesting part was, the papers attached to each sandwich had the correct order printed on them! WTF McDonald’s? It’s not rocket science!

I stopped by this location a couple of days ago hoping to score one of the new«foul-mouthed» Minion’s toys. On the way in, I noticed a bird outside eating a McDonald’s French fry. I mentioned this to the Manager, that it couldn’t be good for the bird to be eating their fries. The Manager just smiled at me and told me that they were all out of the potty-mouthed Minion toy, and he didn’t seem at all concerned about the poor bird who made the questionable decision to eat a McDonald’s French fry. I told the Manager that I was going to go check on the bird, and then I just left… Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I ordered a McFlurry with Reese’s and it tasted like mediocre soft serve with Reese’s sprinkled on top…

The Hispanic guy at drive through tonight. Did not speak any English what so ever. Every question I asked he just repeated what I said in English. I came in at 745. It was extremely hard to understand ANYTHING he said. It took even more long to get my order down correctly. Spent 20 minutes in drive through.

Really… I’m going to review McDonalds. I don’t normally review chain restaurants like this, because everyone has come to know and have certain expectations of a place such as McDonalds. The service is right on par with McDonalds and nothing more. I ordered a Big Breakfast and a cup of water since that’s what I wanted. I didn’t want coffee, juice, milk, or soda in the morning. I just wanted water and to my surprise they have pre-filled water cups sitting on the back counter next to the sandwich station, juice/milk mini fridge, etc… Well I don’t know how long they were sitting there since my water was warm from the mini fridge exhaust. Oh well… the other thing was that the soda station where I got ice for my water didn’t have a water refill button or tab. You’ll have to ask for another water refill. Back to the service, the lady calls my number and walks away. So I wait and asked her is that it. Her response was, «Yes» and staring at me like what else do you want. Ok, I let that slide. Here’s my deal, what if that wasn’t my order and just took it. Guess what anyone can do this without confirmation or checking the receipt. The only reason why I gave this 3 stars is that there is a back patio area with a gymnasium for the kids to run around. I saw 3 families with kids having a blast out there and made it a family day around McDonalds. I remembered when I was a kid I would love to come to McDonalds for that same very reason and I commend all McDonalds with this type of setup. The sad thing about it was that a crew member walked out there with a hose spraying down the floor an hour after he did it the first time. Now the kids were running around with wet socks. McDonalds workers do not have common sense so I blame Management, because they instill the worker’s schedule and duties. If management tells them they have to spray the floors, they spray the floors even if kids are running around out there.

Okay I think it’s really dumb to review a McDonald’s, because well… What do you expect? It’s a McDonald’s. BUT I had an hour to kill and wanted a coffee while I did some writing so I went inside and took a seat, I don’t care about the crappy service or mediocre coffee. What bugged me was how the employees were running around the store laughing and cursing… Fuck this fuck that blah blah blah. I know it’s not a 5 star restaurant and I’m not a snob, but c’mon??? Like I wasn’t the only one in there it was only like 8pm. Have some respect for yourself and your job? The tweaker talking to herself didn’t even bug me, just the ghetto employees. There, I said it.

It’s a McDonald’s okay? So I used to go to this location all the time when I lived in Clairemont and they used to always be pretty quick and super nice when I went through the drive thru. This review is geared more towards the recent service. So I decided to stop by at 11pm after a quick stop at Walmart down the street for some cheap fast food. Pulled up to the drive thru line to find four cars waiting already. I was already set on eating fattening fries so I figured id only be waiting for a few mins. Once I ordered, the guy sounded like he had no idea what the eff he was doing and I had to repeat my order like 3 times. Okay, so he may be new to the window? I get it. So i wait an additional 10 mins to get to the window to pay. Get there and the guy doesnt have much to say, doesnt even tell us the cost. Takes my bf’s card and hands us the drinks. We wait another minute for the bag of food. Doesnt ask us if we want ketchup or sauces or anything. Maybe he put some in there? Nope. Okay. So i just waited 15 minutes in a McDonalds drive thru for crappy service. Go to the one down the street if you live in the area.

CHUN P’s EXPECTATIONSVERSUSREALITY Season 6, Episode 3 Co-Worker just hooked me up with a $ 1.50 Filet O Fish. Hadn’t eaten one of these in over a year… tasted pretty good! And it looked pretty accurate to the corporate website’s photo too. But I would probably never pay full price for one of these…
