I wanted to especially thank these girls at Miss Match in OB. I work very close by and often come by on lunch breaks to do some therapy shopping. But, when I was freaking out about not having anything to wear to my best friend’s wedding these girls were on it. All I had to do was say what color I wanted and they walked straight to the dress they thought I would love. They couldn’t have been more right! I absolutely loved it and got so many compliments all night. Thank you again! I know I’ll be back. (I got my eye on a blue romper that I HAVE to have) xoxoxox

Good prices and helpful! Their earnings and accessories are a little tacky and some weird fashion items but overall found some awesome stuff here

Super cute clothes & the staff in OB are sweet & helpful… It was my first time at this store & i loved it.

I’ve stopped in this store a few times and was always impressed by how nice and helpful the girls who work there are. I stopped by last weekend to look for a dress for my works annual Christmas Party. It’s a formal event in Downtown so I needed a fancy dress. I found the cutest long tulle black dress with a low cut front. I tried it on and it fit great. The girls were very helpful. Right before I took it off, I noticed a little white thing stuck in the tulle in the front of the dress which couldn’t be taken out. They offered me $ 8 off or they could just order me a new one because they only had 1 Small, 1 Medium and 1 Large in the store. I told them to order me a new one, no big deal. The lady in the front said she’d be able to have the dress in within 3 days so I paid for the dress and left. Literally 1 day goes by and I get a call that the dress is already in. So fast! The customer service is great and I was really impressed by how they handled the situation. The dress is beautiful and I really do love this store.

This review is long over due! This is my FAVORITE store! I literally find at least one thing I love each time I go in. I would say that the majority of my wardrobe is from this store. I intentionally use a different route to my yoga studio so that I don’t walk by, when I’m trying to save money :). Girls are super sweet too.

This store offers beautiful and quality clothing at a reasonable price! Every item is unique. They offer a variety of pieces for teens, but also offer a wide selection of clothing for women. Truly a clothing store for everyone! The sales team is kind and enthusiastic about helping you find items that you love and look great in!

This is probably my favorite store in San Diego. That is a bold statement for a shop-​a-​holic. They have the cutest stuff in this store. very unique designs that you will not see out on everyone else. They have everything from short sun dresses to long dresses to upscale special occasion dresses. I come here for everything from a night out to attending a wedding. The best part is their $ 20 sale rack outside of the store. I have purchased some great items for $ 20! you cant beat that price. They also have a sale jewelry bin inside the store that has beautiful necklaces on sale for $ 10!!! They have really cute shoes and purses. Also they frequently have discount deals like 25% of entire purchase, spend $ 40 get $ 20 off. So I would recommend signing up for their email list. Fabulous store!!!

Today was awesome. Sarah helped me pick out an outfit for an event — and it was as if I had a personal shopper. She was able to give me recommendations based on my size, my shape and what kind of event it is. She encouraged me to try things I didn’t think I could pull off, but most definitely can. :) She was super creative and fun, and Miss Match rocks for hiring her. Thank you!

5 stars, went to coronado location after the owner reached out to me. She was kind & very quick to make the situation right.

I visited here a few weeks ago and had a great first experience. The ladies were very warm and welcoming and I ended up walking away with two outfits that I love. I will definitely be back!

I love this place! Everyone there was so welcoming right when I first walked into the store. I looked around a little bit before one of the girls Ahryana came over asked if I needed any help. I told her I wanted some new looks and with that she was off pulling different looks and items that I could dress up or dress down. I loved every piece it was so hard to decide what to get. I am pretty sure I left with everything she picked. It was an amazing experience I cannot wait to go again. Thank you Miss Match for amazing experience!

Used to be great because of the $ 20 sales rack. Well that’s gone so now everything. Is just way to expensive.

This place looks awesome from the outside but apparently doesn’t open until 10am; contrary the 9am open time on Unilocal.Pretty frustrating to drive all the way here misinformed.

I’ve found my new San Diego boutique dress shop!
My shopping companion and I visited four different women’s clothing stores on Newport Avenue during a mini tour of OB yesterday, and this was by far the best store we found. It was basically filled entirely with only dresses, and had the most variety of clever spring/​summer styles that are classy, trendy and unique.
There were tons of maxi dresses, some retro and ‘tea party’ looks, casual dresses, and fancier evening frocks in the back. I have yet to find such an extensive selection of dresses in one single shopping destination, outside of San Francisco, where Ambiance reigns supreme. Miss Match is as close as it gets to Ambiance although MM sticks to dresses under $ 100.
Miss Match is a lot like my old favorite boutique, Georgiou (which closed last year in La Jolla), perfect for the classy 30-​year-​old, except that it’s all dresses!
I truly appreciate that the sales girls picked out a few dresses for me to try based on others I had tried on. Personalized customer service is key in these little shops, and the reason I prefer them to department stores.
Most of the dresses at MM were around $ 50 – 60. One embroidered mint floral dress I found for just under $ 90 was as good as something you’d spot at Anthropologie for $ 200. I ended up with a skirt and a dress off the sale rack in the front of the store, for only $ 20 a piece, and was astounded they actually had them in X-​Small.

Went in to look at dresses for a wedding and walked out with 5 amazing dresses! From a beautiful blue ombré maxi, to a gorgeous black floral dress that is super flattering. The girls working there were really friendly and did a great job recommending items to try. My new favorite shopping spot in San Diego!

When I first came to Ocean Beach I came across this store as I walked up Newport Ave. I absolutely fell in LOVE with this store. They have a tremendous amount of trendy clothes for young women. The clothes can range from $ 30-​$ 80 depending on what you are looking for. I bought two dresses and a belt from here. So far, the dresses are holding up pretty well. The dresses were $ 60 each. What I love about this store is they only have a specific amount of a certain article of clothing to make sure you do not see a lot of other people wearing what you have. It creates a sense of originality. I also love the associates who works here. They are really sweet girls and are extremely helpful. I recommend visiting this boutique the next time you come to Ocean Beach.

I can’t decide if this is a store I love to hate or hate to love.
If you are looking for evening gowns — You found the place.
Looking for lots of *Bling* — This is the place.
Searching for unique jewelry — Definitely came to the right place.
Looking for casual clothes at a reasonable price –Probably not the place to be.
The dressier clothes are a better deal but every day clothes are overpriced.
Oh! jewelry is not small. We are talking *Big Bling* Mr. T Bling.
Was thinking about giving it 3 stars but the staff was very helpful.
Check it out. You may find something for the next Oscar party.

Came here for Black Friday and had a surprisingly pleasant experience. I’m a fan of the store in general, so I was psyched to take advantage of the sales. I was #10 in line to get in and got a 20 $ gift certificate for the day!
So real talk: I agree with some of the reviewers that, for some things, the quality could be better — a necklace where the chain keeps breaking, for instance (easy fix, though). However, I also have a couple shirts that I wear all the time that are really great pieces and have thus far stood the test of time — so it can be hit and miss. That said, the sales staff rocks my socks, and there are some amazing, fun gifts (especially the jewelry!) If you shop conscientiously, you’ll be rewarded for it.

They have some cute stuff, but it isn’t of any higher quality than forever 21, and it’s twice the price, and with an even worse return policy. Their staff is absolutely up your butt the entire time you’re in the store. There is a lot of fake complimenting going on. Even if you look like an absolute train wreck in a garment, expect to be fawned over about how gorgeous it makes you look. Don’t bother buying anything here if you think there’s any chance you’ll have to return it.
They do have really nice looking, fashion forward, and reasonably priced purses though!
