Came here tonight cause our new laundromat was full.
On a Monday night this place is empty and filthy! I had to clean many parts of the washers before I would even put my dirty clothes in there!
There are paper towels all over the floor and machines that could use a little wipe down!

I like this place. It’s a bit small, but it has what I need. I’ve never had any problems with the washers or dryers, and the price is 20 percent lower than the over-​priced Serra Mesa Laundry, which looks nice, but watch out for the owners. Anyway, the bathroom could use some seat covers since you have to pay to get in, and a vending machine would be nice (though the nice folks at the liquor store next door would be happy to sell you what you need at a fairly reasonable price.) It gets the job done and is cozy.

First time here at this laundry facilitiy. And very impressed from the cleanliness of the store to how helpful the owner is. And it is five minutes away from my apartment. I’ll be more then happy to be back here again and bring my hubby.

Came here to wash comforters. Clean and relatively cheap. The machines are on the newer side. Free wifi is awesome!

Thank you Mission Village Laundry for addressing some of the concerns I mentioned in a previous review. I don’t know that my review mad a difference, but it seems there must have been some concerns expressed to the ownership. The water machine has returned to the original price of $.25/​gallon and the reliability of the washers and dryers seems far better. Additionally, the change machine seems to be functioning properly. MVL is again the charming (?) local laundromat it used to be, and I thank them for it!

I found this place is nice and clean. New machines seem to be installed recently. I’ve niticed that a poster says change machine is fixed and it worked correctly for me. Looks fine now. Water is now gallon per quarter. Any way, this laundry is good gor me.

Nice clean place to get your laundry washed. They have a tv and free wifi to pass the time. Hours are pretty good. There is plenty of parking. It is a lot nicer than before. Machines are a lot more reliable.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have five stars. This place is my go to place to wash my clothes. The owners are super nice when they are here, they have good prices for the dryers and they are always making the place better. They have free wi-​fi and added Netflix a few months ago, which is a huge help when I bring my four year old. Bonus I am the current mayor on foursquare!

I haven’t used the machines here but visit often to get quarters. The location is always clean an they have movies/​tv on. It seems like a family-​run business which is good!
I’ve seem the owners there several time which I nice to see… I would imagine of you have a broken machine or something that having them there makes it good because you can address the issue right away!

Was a standard laundry, good prices. They just added new machines, repainted the place, added wi-​fi, and passed the buck to the consumer … raised the prices per wash. Didnt need all the changes, just a basic place with working machines, i could care less about the look and ambiance
Went here for 2 years … will start looking for a new place in Serra Mesa. I hear that one near CVS is nice

Not a big complex, so there were only two of the x-​large washers to use. Bummer since i had four comforters to wash. Otherwise, it was okay.

Convenient because it’s really close to my apartment but it could use a really good cleaning. I would rather go to The Washboard but the convenience gets me every time! I do like that they have the water machine in there where you can get a gallon of the good stuff for a quarter.

The super large washer is $ 7, xl is $ 5, large is $ 4, and regular $ 1.50. Normal dryers are 7 min/​quarter, didn’t check out the price on the industrial sized ones. Not bad prices and not out of my way when I run errands. You might want to bring something to keep from being bored. They have a couple cheap plastic chairs, old magazines, and a few kids books.

I think the owner is kind and helpful and seems to genuinely care about the place and his customers. I’ve driven from Hillcrest to this place just because I like the place, atmosphere, etc. Just a nice friendly place to visit. And the owner is really helpful and will make sure you’re using the best equipment and that everything works properly — and sometimes will put in free ‘bounce’ sheet when I’m drying clothes.
Also, they also have a place to purchase purified water so bring your plastic jugs to get them refilled there.
I’ve been to tons of different laundromats in San Diego and this really is one of the best.
