Monte De Piedad

I found out about this place because my mother has been pawning her gold with them for years. She swears by them and the amount they’ll pay for your items, so I had to give them a try when I found myself in a pinch. I went in there with a 55″ Samsung and some chains and got the cash I needed. The place is clean and the guy behind the glass (Manager I think) was pretty fast and courteous above all. I’ll probably visit them again if I find myself in need of quick cash. Thanks guys!

I had some gold I wanted to sell and I wanted get top dollar… so I asked around and I’m SO GLAD I went with Monte De Piedad. The gentleman I worked with was polite and very professional. I’d highly recommend Monte De Piedad to anybody looking to sell gold or pawn!

Went in a few days ago to sell a necklace. The Mexican woman with fake eyelashes said it was 10k when it clearly stated 14k. Took it to 5 other shops and they all verified it was not 10k it was indeed 14k. I then took it to their other location on el cajon blvd just to see if it’s the company trying to rip me off or just that woman. Sure enough the guy at their el cajon blvd location told me it was 14k. Looks like she was trying to rip me off! I suggest, if you’re gna go to this place, DONT! GO TO CASHCO. && IF THIS IS YOUR CHOICE OF PAWN SHOPS, GO TO EL CAJON BLVD LOCATION. NOT HERE. I’ll NEVER TRUST THIS LOCATION AGAIN BECAUSE OF THAT WOMAN.
Oh and by the way, the el cajon blvd location was able to offer me soooo much more money once he verified it was 14k. His offer even matched cashcos and he was extremely funny and helpful and informative. So pleasant!
Please, don’t trust the Mexican women who works here @this university location when bringing in jewlery. Or anything for that matter. I think she wears colored contacts as well if I remember correctly. Along with fake eyelashes. Goodluck everyone :)

Ok so I have gone to many places to sell my gold and I’m super surprised this place has no reviews
As far as what they pay, this is the best place to sell your gold! Not to mention the staff is AWESOME! They are always friendly and cheerful
The managers NUT and CEASAR are always helpful and honest! The only downside is the amount of testing they have to do can be very time consuming now, so be prepared to spend 30 mins or more depending on what u have.
