Yummy pizza and oh my the large is really a XL! Walked in to this place for the first time for a to-go order and gal at counter offered us a pizza for a discount that a customer never picked up. Now that was easy and less expensive. Besides the fact it was too large for 2 people the taste and crust were really really good. Tad greasy but good! Great customer service. We will be back!

Topping overload!!! So awesome so many places don’t put enough on their pizzas and this place does soooo much, but it’s not over the top. It’s perfect and I love their pizzas… Literally. I eat it at least twice a week and I enjoy it every time! Three basic food groups Beer, Wings and Pizza… And this pizza is the organic of the pizza world. Delicious, filling and affordable. So enough about the food nowwww the people. They like KnB remember me and are super friendly. They’re not scared to stoke up a conversation and that goes for their delivery drivers. I’ve had so many awesome conversations with the drivers. Yeah this place rocks and I give them all my pizza business. Duces!

This locations manager is a walking sock puppet. I tried to order the garlic butter pepperoni pizza pictured on this page and she informed me that bc she does not know how to charge me extra for it or have a button for garlic parm she is not allowed to do it and there is no way i can pay for it even though they have garlic parm there. She decided it was a better idea to loose a $ 200 order over some parm cheese, anyone hiring someone this foolish cant be a competent business owner.

What an over priced joke !!! $ 75 for 12 sodas, a large meat pizza with crappy sauce, and a over cooked 12“cheese pizza. What a rip off !!! I would gladly pay the price. Don’t waste your time and money calling this place.

I ordered a medium linguica, fresh tomato, bell pepper; and broccoli. There were maybe 12 tiny slices of linguica and they forgot the tomato :(very expensive disappointment.

This place is getting 4 stars from me. 5 stars for their service and ¾ stars for their prices and food. We went in last Thursday 3÷24÷16. I’ve been meaning to write a review ever since. We didn’t get food, although I’ve had their food numerous times before and it never triggered me to write a review. Food is good but in my opinion is overpriced. The reason for the review now is our server Dani! She was so attentive, bringing us beers, keeping our water full and checking on us before we had to ask. I noticed her treating the other tables the same way too. She was friendly and made us walk out with a smile. Aside from the service, this place has a great beer selection. Grapefruit sculpin is my favorite and they usually have it on draft. To be fair, Sculpin is an expensive beer anyway but is very expensive here(around 8 bucks for a pint if I remember correctly). Would love to see a happy hour at some point. This place is local for me and I would definitely frequent a happy hour if they had one. Their buffet nights are great too and you can get the same food for cheaper.

From looking at their website it’s obvious why their prices are so high. Ton of overhead and everybody wants a piece of the pie.(Pun intended) Went there today for the first time with a coworker. The pizza and salad buffet came highly recommend. Walked in at 12:05 in the afternoon and literally no one inside the restaurant. Walked to the counter and the cashier/cook/server/busser/hostess was super nice. I ordered the buffet and asked if it came with a drink. She kindly replied no but I ordered one anyways. My totally after tax was $ 11.97. So even before I sat down and served myself I immediately began to think of all the other pizza and salad buffets that were half the cost of this one… Round Table, Ci-Ci’s, Pizza Hut(el Cajon), shakeys etc… I get my salad and notice there are no croutons. I’m no salad bar connoisseur, but I’m pretty sure any type of croûton is a staple. I set my salad plate down and there is one pizza under the heat lamp, which happened to be half BBQ chicken and something else I couldn’t make out on the other half. So I decided to start on my salad. I finished my salad and now one other pizza is out. It’s a veggie and meat with either white sauce or no sauce, I couldn’t tell. What happened to just cheese, or cheese and pepperoni? How about setting out more than just one or two pizzas? Regardless, I wasn’t impressed and would not go back. Even if someone else was paying, I would recommend we went somewhere else. I don’t like supporting businesses who overcharge for their products just because they think people will pay it. Sorry Mountain Mike’s, you’re delusional if you think 12 dollars for that buffet is a fair price. It’s not. And I’ll take my business elsewhere.

My parents have come here before and never raved, but never complained about the pizza. They said it was consistent and that’s why they liked it. Pizza has never been my choice for dinner, but I finally went with last time to try it out. We ordered it to go and I, being vegan, got the personal size Veggiemore with no cheese and gluten free crust. I was shocked to see my little pizza came out to $ 15 first of all!!! That is way too expensive for what I got in return. It looked good from the box, but when I brought it home and started eating, I quickly realized my pizza mostly consisted of the huge tomatoes on top. The layer of marinara sauce was so scarce I had many bites of just tomato with the few other veggies and the crust. The crust was also completely burnt on the outside so when I bit into the last bite of crust my dad thought I broke my tooth by it. Overall, the pizza was way too expensive and the veggies on top consisted of basically huge tomato slices layered on the crust because the pizza was missing most of its marinara sauce. Don’t plan on eating here again!!!

Ok so this place obviously doesn’t have the best, most crafty pizza like some of the new pizza places have. But sometimes you wanna come here just to get some basic pizza if you know what I mean. And I noticed this last time I came, but seriously, the staff is so nice! How do they get such great employees to run the restaurant? That’s what stands out most, this time and last its apparent they have friendly employees who care about their job and their customers. 5 stars just for that. It’s hard these days to find a nice staff. On top of that I think the pizza is good too.

Good pizza. Expensive, not worth the price. A little lacking of flavor, but I usually get vegetarian, so some salt will probably help. The salad is good.

Good thin pizza, that comes for a price. This location is very convenient for me and my husband, which is probably one of the reasons we go here over other pizza places. The pizza is good, however, If I’m spending the amount of money on a pizza as I do here, I think I would rather go somewhere less franchised.

Good food, happy with the service, and delivery comes pretty fast, only downside is they are a bit over priced i think. I go back because every once in a while i want more quality rather than the convenience of pizza Hut

Had the $ 8.99 all you can eat pizza/salad bar. It’s available on Monday & Wednesday nights. The pizza selection was good and the pizza itself was better than most found at this«all you can eat» style bar BUT there were a ton of under 10 yr old boys(baseball team) in there with their parents. They were rowdy and out of control. The staff did nothing about it. The parents are regulars according to the staff and they just deal with the aftermath. Also, if you do get a pizza by itself, its pretty darn expensive.

Email sent to corporate office: I visited Mountain Mikes on Wednesday 6÷3÷15 at 8:10pm. At the time of arrival, the pizza bar light was on and there were 9 almost full pizzas at the pizza bar(I have a picture). I knew that the pizza bar was open until 8pm, so I was relieved to see there was plenty of pizza left so that I could order it. However, I was told by staff that the register«button» does not operate after 8pm for the pizza bar. I argued that there was a ton of pizza left and that it made no sense to throw all that pizza away. However, they said this was a corporate regulation and that they could not accommodate me. They then let me know that staff takes home any leftover pizza. While I am ok with staff having this perk of taking home leftover pizza, as they do work hard and deserve a perk, I am not ok with 9 pizza’s being available that I am not allow to have a piece of as a paying customer. I do understand the pizza bar is closed at 8pm, and that no new pizzas will be made and that whatever is left is all that will be available for my paying rate. As such, it should be up to the discretion of the paying customer coming in after 8pm to decide if they want to chance not having enough pizza to satisfy what they think their payment is worth. Furthermore, customer service and satisfaction should be the number one priority, not corporate regulations and staff entitlement. I have continually had difficulties with staff at this location being indignant towards my group of weekly Cowles Mountain hikers as we come in at 8pm after our hike and are looking to unwind at this location. I understand that staff often have long working days, however, making patrons feel uncomfortable during working hours(this location closes at 9pm) because they want to close up to go home is no way to keep regular paying customers. I would like to be a regular at this location as the food is good, the beer is good, and the location is convenient(my hiking group agrees). However, the service I receive prevents me from considering this location most of the time, and when we have made it there like we did on 6÷3÷15(despite our concerns), we are unfortunately reminded why we don’t go.

Just so you know, their menu prices are inaccurate. The«personal pizza» is listed as $ 8.99, and cheese(vegan or otherwise) is not listed as an additional charge. They’ll just charge whatever they feel like at the time. :-\

So, I keep getting ads from this place delivered to my door and figured, what the heck, I should try them. So after months and months of promising to go, I finally scooted my butt over to the Mountain Mike’s. First off, let me just tell you that this place is really small. I thought it was going to be a lot larger than it actually was. Ordering was a cinch, though, and the girls at the counter were professional and very nice. Pizza took about a half hour to make. Here’s where it’s a little tricky… it’s kinda expensive for what you pay for. I didn’t mind paying for a pricey pizza, but if the pizza is good. I honestly didn’t think the pizza was great… it was just okay in my book. The overflow of toppings couldn’t mask the mediocre taste of it. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what it was, but I think it was just everything on the pizza was mediocre. I was disappointed. Oh, and I like how this place advertises itself as being family-owned. This establishment(and the other in Clairemont) may be owned and operated by one family but Mountain Mike’s IS a franchise and they were originally from Nor Cal(or as they like to call it, the«Bay Area»). Still, kudos for them for having fundraisers to the community but don’t state you’re not a franchise when you actually are. Pizza isn’t bad but it’s not the best I’ve had. I am going to a different pizza place that’s more cost-effective and tastier. Others seem to like it, though. You decide.

This review is not for their pizza, but for one of their sandwiches: the Louisiana Sausage that is. Their sandwiches are oven baked and I had mine made on a California Baking Company sourdough, a roll that was very good.( ) For $ 7 and some change, you get your choice or choices of meats with pretty much the standard fillings for a sub, but I asked for no mayo please( ) The sandwich was good, and I was teetering between a 3 and 4 star experience, so I settled for 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the Louisiana Sliced sausage. It tasted good and had a slight kick to it. I just which they put more of it, so I could of experienced its flavor throughout the sandwich.( ) I extra link, would of made a world of a difference. I really like the way they bake the cheese right onto the great sourdough roll.( ) The roll was excellent. It provided great texture and was moist throughout, not to mention its great sourdough flavor. The girl that was running the counter was very cool and personable. They offer a pizza and salad bar all you cane eat buffet Mon thru Friday from 11 am to 2 pm for $ 7.99, and Monday’s and Wednesday starting at 5 pm. Good deal if you like to eat a lot of pizza and salad. They offer beer and wine as well.
