First time buying tree from them. Pricey but worth it. Loved the smaller lot in La Jolla and the neighborhood vibe. Great selection. Bought tree the first week in December and it was still fresh Jan 1! We’ve found our new spot.

Very disappointed with Mr. Jingles this year! I purchased a Groupon deal last Christmas, and got a beautiful tree from this lot, without paying an additional $ 30. This year was a completely different story. Basically paid over $ 60, and it was for a barely 6ft Noble Fir. Very sad after seeing way nicer trees at Home Depot and Target for around $ 50! This is not a good deal anymore, and I recommend looking around at other places.

If I could give them a Negative 10 I would! This place is a waste of time and money! Bought a Living Social deal for $ 25.00. I get to the lot and it was scarce, no one came up to me to help. A group, Yes group of men who are suppose to be working there were huddled around talking about beer with a German accented man leading the group! NICE!!! Then after about 5 mins(I was about to leave, boy I should have) Someone finally came up to me to help. I stated I had a Living Social deal and he told me that it only covered the«Douglas Trees» which it does not specify anywhere!!! He continues to tell me if I want a Noble which is what I usually get every year that I’d be an addition $ 3.00 per foot… WHY??? My friend bought the same deal, got the same tree not a penny extra! They don’t cut the bottom of your tree for you and charge an additional $ 3.00 to wrap the tree, sales taxes and no Hot Chocolate. Instead of helping a Family owned lot which was my intention, I got ripped off and they could care less! I ended up spending over $ 70.00 for a tree that is already dying. I try not to buy from the big Companies Home Depot, Target, Walmart… Etc. You can forget about talking to a manager or anything close to it. I’ve called several times only to be given attitude and have the phone hung up on my face. I’ve purchased these types of vouchers in the past and had no issues, Wilson Family Trees in Carlsbad was Awesome! Mr JINGLES, NEVERAGAIN!!! Living SOCIAL shouldn’t promote such a horrible business either!

Similar experience to Mila. It is still receiving 2 stars from me because we actually received wonderful customer service. The guy helping us were willing to open up more trees for us, trim the bottom, and made good suggestions. However, it was my mistake. I read the living social wrong. $ 35 for $ 70 worth for a 7′+ tall tree so for all you know, they can up the prices of their 7′ and you ultimately aren’t saving anything. My 7′ tree was $ 90. So I paid $ 35 on living social plus the $ 20 difference between $ 70-$ 90. For a total of $ 55 I could’ve gotten something much better, taller, and less expensive from Costco, Walmart, or home Depot. They also only had mainly noble fir. For people who prefer Douglas, please be advised. The selection was also small. No hot chocolate and the lot was really sad looking. I don’t recommend going to this place. And am not returning.

Had a great experience here. Can in saw a couple trees I liked and decided quickly between them! A nice gentleman helped me carry it to my car and load it in. It was a quick painless process with my Groupon and I am so in love with my tree!!! It’s in perfect shape!

Lot was extremely well organized. Employees were very courteous and helpful even though they were clearly working long hours. BEST place to get your tree!
