The food, cannot explain how good! Cute and cozy feel inside. If your a regular customer the owner will start to remember you and you’ll feel like family once you step inside. I have never had a bad experience here, simple and great.

Some dishes better than others. Adrianna Aguilar, a caring and efficient server, made the whole experience much better. The place seemed outdated, but we figured that the food was going to tell the story. Anticuchos, $ 14: Anticuchos can be a very tasty treat when done just right, meaning the marinade that gives the meat it’s authentic flavor, and the meat that is usually the heart of the cow, have to be properly trimmed, and together meat and marinade are thrown into the fire for best results in skewers. The meat here had the right taste, but presumably cooked on a grill instead of live fire. No skewers here, just the pieces of meat on a plate accompanied by almost perfect grilled potatoes and a very inviting sauce served in a ridiculously small container but tasty otherwise. Meat was thin and overpriced, but easy to like. 3.5 Stars. Papa Rellena, $ 6+?: typical Peruvian appetizer done very well, served with a yellow creamy sauce, this one, even though it was wished it had a little more meat inside, was well received and extremely fast disposed of. 4 Stars. Ceviche Mixto, $ 15.95: a delicious seafood plate when done right, this version was definitely overpriced and the amount that arrived to the table very meager, not one to remember, or to be repeated, for that matter. 3 Stars. Chupe de Camarones, $ 15+?: a very traditional soup of Peru, kind of like a Bisque of Shrimp, that when properly prepared, is one delicious choice. Comes with several ingredients, one of the most important being the quality of the shrimp used, and of course the texture and flavor of the broth determines the overall excellence of the dish. This one was a notch above. 4 Stars. Chaufa de Mariscos, $ 13+?: Peruvian version of seafood fried rice. Very unlikely to find a decent one with enough ingredients and taste to make it a contender. This one was 85% rice and 15% seafood, a disappointing choice, way overpriced that truly showed the greedy side of the place. Nothing to get excited about. 2 Stars. Picarones, $ 5?: tasty Peruvian dessert supposedly made with pumpkin/squash deep fried in the form of a doughnut, and served with a typical and very tasty syrup. 4 Stars. Peruvian restaurants tend to overcharge, but if the food was outstanding, as it happens to be in Peru, no problema, but otherwise does not sit right to pay more for lesser quality. Total after gratuity came to $ 90, but as mentioned above, our server from Honduras did earn our respect. 3.5 Stars

Super sad visit this evening. We always make an effort to stop by here as it is one of our favorite Peruvian restaurants. But today everything was cooked bad. The yucas were not well cooked and cold in the middle and the lomo saltado was cooked different and not tasting good. The worst part was our server, she was not very helpful and looked like she wanted to leave and not be there. We come all the way from San Marcos all the time. So sad that today we walked out like we never wanted to come back.

Food took a little long to get delivered for not being that far from me but was worth it in the end.

I dined here with a friend for the first time this past Saturday. I was excited to try this place as I love Peruvian food. This was possibly the worst dining experience I ever had! The place is not very nice inside. It’s outdated, dark and not very comfortable. I could easily overlook all of that if the food was great but it wasn’t. Neither was the service. The server didn’t introduce herself, ask if we’d been there before, ask if we had any questions… she simply walked up to the table(without offering beverages first) and asked if we wanted to order. She didn’t know the menu and had to go to the kitchen to ask questions about ingredients in a dish. I was brought the wrong dish and when I alerted the server she said«That’s almost the same dish. The sauce is different but it’s the exact same thing.» Really?! The dish she brought had a cream sauce which I’m very allergic to. I ordered a dish with a tomato based sauce. She took it back and I eventually received the dish I wanted. And it was COLD, no, really it was cold. The sauce was bland and had no flavor. The original server didn’t stop to check on the table until we were almost done eating. Poor service. Terrible food. Never going back.

We ate here tonight. It was way too overpriced for the quality & quantity of food. I have been to Peru before and this is not as good. It somehow had a weird aftertaste and was way too salty. The service by the waitress(blonde girl) was rude. She ignored me several times when trying to pay for my order. I am sure she saw me but she was in a bad mood. I highly recommend staying out of this place and spend your money somewhere else with better food and service.

I was in a group doing a school project about Peru, and everyone was asked to bring an item for a potluck. I called Nazca grill, and they were able to prepare food for around 20 people within a few hours. We ordered the Pollo la Brasa, which came with a salad and rice. Everyone loved the food! The chicken was gone in the first round, and everyone absolutely raved at how good it was. The food is fabulous, and the staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. I plan on taking my family to the restaurant so they can try it as well, and I can get some chaufas! Thank you Nazca Grill!

Is it as good as Peru? Of course not! If you expect it to be your crazy. Does it satisfy the love and hole in your heart of missing being in Peru, it sure does. Lomo saltado is great, meat not as tender I would hope but still good. Beef heart is seasoned well and delicious, not as melt in your mouth as Peru but still good. Rice is super bomb! Fries are thick steak cut like they should be. They have all the things you miss and love. Not as good as Peru but close enough to make you want to go back!

I really wanted to like this place. I lived in Peru for 3 years and just moved back 6 months ago. Perú had the best food in the world and this place doesn’t do it justice. The anticucho was paper-thin, the ceviche was SUPER acidic, and the pescado a lo macho wasn’t done right(seafood had a semi-raw fishy taste). And all this(small portions) was $ 60 for lunch!

food is ok to good, definitely not great. if you get steak, it is mediocre(poor quality w nerves) but cooked as best possible. seafood is not fresh. 3 stars. it’s pricey for what you get and they NEVER have adequate staffing!!! every single time I’ve been dragged to this place and it’s been many, many times because my coworkers love Peruvian food –lunch or dinner – they NEVER have enough ppl working. we’re always waiting at the door, then waiting for our order to be taken, then waiting for our drinks, then waiting for our food, then having to flag someone down for the bill… Def do not recommend this place.

Food was alright here. Ordered my favorite pescado sudado. Needed more salt and wasn’t very spicy. Huge portion was given though. My son ordered the lomo saltado. His portion was small. Shared my dish so he would feel sustained. Small lil restaurant in a mini mall strip. Not much parking but enough because this mini mall isn’t very busy. Try it out and see what you think.

I’ve watched couple of BuzzFeed videos from YouTube, and there’s one episode talks about Peruvian food, «Lomo Saltado, Parihuela, Morada…». It reminds me «well, I know there’s a Peruvian restaurant in my neighborhood, I’ve been living near Balboa & Genesee area for a quiet while, but never gone to this place before.» So I went to there once, twice, and ordered everything I’ve known from the BuzzFeed video, and those food amazed me. Especially Parihuela, the seafood soup, it’s not on the menu, but they will make it for those who know this dish. Not too salty, but very fresh, it’s like the ocean in your mouth. The servers are very nice and friendly, they will explain a lot of their cuisine if you ask them. Some dishes are a bit pricy but it comes with large quantity, so it’s pretty fair.

Went for lunch today, they are close to my dentist, Dr. Anton Misleh and my optometrist Dr. Gary Sneag. Been wanting to go here for a while, and since my dental appointment was around lunchtime, decided to try them out. There is ample parking, but it can be a little tricky sometimes around lunch, and the spaces are a little small. Keep your eyes open and you’ll find something acceptable. Seated quickly by Wilson, who seemed by bearing and manner to own the place, or at least manage it. Menu is perfectly reasonable as far as choices and prices. Started with a glass of the house Malbec($ 7.00) and the Papa Rellena($ 6.00). I wanted the Tamal, but the kitchen was just making them and was informed that it would be about 3 hours until they were ready… that’s a minus star right there. The Papa Rellena is two balls of mashed potatoes with a chopped meat filling, fried, and served with a spicy aji dipping sauce and lime marinated red onions w/cilantro(salsa criolla). It was good, but the ratio of meat to potato was off, way too much potato, skimpy on the meat filling. Tasty, yes, but I left most of the starch on the plate. The entrée was not on the menu, stewed beef with beans and rice, called Seco de Res($ 10.00) this was an excellent deal, and there was plenty of meat, but it was lacking a bit in flavor. Was kind of disappointed about that, as good friends have told me that proper Peruvian food is bursting with flavor. I would go back, but my expectations would be tempered by this visit.

This is a delightful family owned restaurant that is easy to miss unless you happen to sojourn the area and/or are on the hunt for Peruvian. Yucca fries & the potato balls stuffed w/meat were excellent appetizers & should be devoured :) I got the shrimp soup for dinner, while my boyfriend loved his sea bass– it was a tender-like soufflé engulfed in a green sauce w/peas. Our girls each got a quarter chicken plate w/rice & salad. For dessert, the flan was a hit-more so than the fruit-icecream concoction that I think had pumpkin in it. I also had the traditional Peruvian drink(non-alcoholic) that has cloves in it, refreshing to the palate. The place was quiet when we tried it, but guests slowly sauntered in afterwards. This is a place where locals go, & I hope many more support this hidden spot.

Totally recommend this gem! The service was wonderful and our waitress really knew details about the cuisine. We had the beef heart and cassava appetizers… Delicious! My favorite was the beef heart– a MUST try. From the outside it looks like a standard shopping mall hole In the wall, but inside is very nice and warm. We will be back to try their Peruvian version of tamales!

After watching an episode of Travel Channel, we were suddenly craving Cuy and Peruvian food. A quick Unilocal search found Nazca Grill, and we were excited! Between 4 people, we ordered the following: 1) Yuca Fries — Yuquita Frita 2) Corn & Cheese — Choclo Queso 3) Seafood Ceviche — Ceviche de Mariscos — my favorite 4) Chicken Soup — Sopa de Pollo 5) Plantains 6) Whole Chicken — Pollo a la Brasa 7) Seafood Rice — Chaufa Mariscos 8) Drink — Chicha Morada 9) Dessert — Picarones 10) Ice Cream — Helado de Lucuma To order Cuy — you’ll need to call at least 24 hours in advance for them to prepare the dish. I will definitely be going back to order this. YUM. ENJOY!

We’ve been here several times over the last few years, but the dish I always return to is the Lomo Saltado,(stir-fried steak) a fusion dish that mixes the Chinese stir-fry tradition with Peruvian ingredients such as yellow chili pepper, cilantro and tomato. The hearty entrée is always accompanied by fluffy white rice and french fries. I never thought I would like this combination, but it’s really very good at the Nazca Grill. What really prompted me to write this review were the complaints about the service. We have never had any cause for complaints whether served by the friendly young waitress or by the owner who patiently described the dishes to us when we first discovered the restaurant. I do agree the décor may need a little updating, but I don’t eat the carpet and as long as the Lomo Saltado is as good as it has consistently been, I have no cause for complaint. I recommend Nazca Grill highly for diners wanting to try a different cuisine.
