Okay, let me break this down… A med. sized GROSS pizza for $ 5 or a HUGE piece of pizza that is pretty good for $ 2.50. I got a medium sized pizza for $ 5& $ 1 for every topping. It was fucking disgusting. The cheese was so cheap. It was like string cheese. Not pleased. If you’re getting the slice, it’s cool. But their big pizzas aren’t the business. The men that work there aren’t the nicest people, but the girl is pretty cool. You have to pay for ranch. Thumbs up* Buffalo strips, or chicken wings. Philly cheez steaks. 2 and a half stars. Maybe 3? Okay, no. More like 2 stars…

In the pantheon of mom ‘n pop pizzerias, this one is close to the bottom. One of the cornerstone items to find at these places you will rarely find elsewhere is good gyro. If that is what you are indeed looking for, don’t come here. NY Giant pizza does the most criminal thing possible concerning that lovely spiced lamb by used frozen, pre-cut, identical pieces and cook them to readiness on the grill. This alone should cause the health dept. to shut the place down. I gave them the benefit of the doubt(not seeing one of those standing, rotating spits anywhere about) and ordered one. The texture was bad, and the flavor just wasn’t there. The tzatziki sauce was bootleg. I also got a greek salad as well as popcorn shrimp. The greek salad had a poor feta on it, and was somewhat watery. Popcorn shrimp were not very good either(which is really sad, as I do not know how you screw that up). The french fries were plain and not crispy. Granted, those are the only items I tried, but it is enough to tell me that is all I am ever gonna try there. I will give them kudos for free delivery(if they are close enough to you), especially in that I walked there and they said I need not wait. The fact they even offered while I was in the place I felt a nice touch. Still, I would rather have poor service and yummy food than the opposite.
